I met Paulina briefly in 1981. Way back when, I took a spring break trip to Cancun. This was when it was still a playground of the rich. She and Julio Iglesias were strolling down the beach and they stopped to talk to the American teens. Paulina was only a few years older than I was. I couldn’t believe how she radiated sexiness. I’ll never forget it.
An actual woman. How refreshing.
She was an 80s supermodel and i had such a crush. I was a huge Cars fan too. The DRIVE video i cant even watch. I was in a May December relationship with a woman for 20 years then lost her to Schizophrenia. That weoman was my wife. Tim. HUTTON directed i think. The video brings me to my knees sobbing 10 yrs later.

Few people realize that she was once in the top 50 smartest individuals in the Nation at one time. She is who she is, because she has a brain she uses, and she's not out trying to 'fix' what everyone else is doing. She just trying to be a good rule model.

What's a woman?
Paulina Porizkova along with Monica Bellucci are 2 beauties I have the utmost respect for. It's hard enough being an average woman aging in this world, but once being called (one of) the most beautiful women in the world must come with immense pressure.
Paulina and Monica seems to have aged more or less naturally, despite the pressure. And I think they both look AMAZING! Yes, the filler, botox and surgery can take off a few years. But there comes a time where it is inevitable, and starts morphing into something unnatural and desperate looking. A lot of celeb women as young as 30s already have this "done" look where they look like they're trying to look young, rather than actually looking young.
Paulina is such a natural beauty, then and now, and to me she has aged wonderfully because we still see it's her! She has the same playful smile, and spirit. She has a beautiful glow about her, a wonderful and kind woman that radiates beauty!
I met her once too. 1987 with Ric Ocasek backstage Billy Idol concert at Madison Square Garden. I was 18... good times!

I've always liked her ever since the 80s. As a rocker chick I thought it was cool that she dated Rick Okasik who was such a talent and a down to earth nice guy and I loved Paulina in the video "Drive" as she did an amazing job acting out her emotions but when I saw an interview with her about making the video, her relationship with Rick and about her life coming here from Czech, she was so sweet, self efacing and down to earth and she didn't have a bit of arrogance or pretentiousness which so many super models had at the time. She has always had such a sweet caring personality and it shows now as she been doing wonderful things for young and older women and has not been afraid to show herself au naturelle.
Pretty sure they were married for 20 years before he divorced her for cheating on him several times. Plus he left her out of his will.
@@beanz4806 She wasn't cheating. They were separated although still living in the same home. He had no more interest in her once she got older. She's spoken about that a lot over the years. She told him she was going to start dating. I guess he thought all men thought like him and wouldn't want her for having some wrinkles. As if he was ever in a position to criticize other peoples appearance.🙄
