Five years - OMG!! I’ve been following all of your Maser stuff, including a complete breakdown of costs… that was maybe before Covid? It looks as beautiful as day one!
I love my Gran Turismo, I have owned a QP before as well as leased a 458 Italia but I prefer the deeper exhaust note of the GT over the high pitch whine of the 458. Sure the interior tech may be a little dated but in another 10 years these cars will stand out even more, especially with the next gen GT going electric and having a twin turbo V6. I really want Maserati to get their engines from Ferrari again, I am not a fan of the MC20s engine.
FELLOW MASERATI OWNER HERE TOO. MY 2011 QUATTROPORTE S GOING ON 4 YEARS. MY 2013 GRANTURISMO C-SPORT GOING ON 2 1/2 YEARS. Thanks for the content as always. ♾️✊🏾🔱
im buying one later this year. saving up rn. iu just needed to know if it was reliable, and it looks like it is. thank you so much for the in-depth review : )
HEAVILY debating buying one in the near future. My options were this or an E92 M3 or F82 M4. While I'd like to be able to mod it for more power, the condition I can reliably find these in for the price in comparison is really pushing me towards it. Always loved the looks, sounds great, from what I've gathered they handle beautifully. Interior tech seems to be an easy DIY upgrade too so it being mad outdated isn't a huge issue.
I own a 2014 GT MC and it has been flawless and a joy to drive. Cosmetic work is about I spend on it. Services are not crazy expensive, and it's very practicable when you go out with friends and you can fit a whole couple in the back.
Mine is the exact same color grigio grenito Gray with Coolio interior I like the way the gray looks especially at night I enjoy the sound of the engine exhaust but I noticed it burns more gas when I drive in sports mode.
I have seen some videos of problems with the old Aston martins but the one that comes to mind is Doug demuro with his 2007 Aston Martin Vantage, several years ago, and in just one year had $5k worth of repairs not counting maintenance costs. So far my 2014 Granturismo has not had any problems
Well I love the primitive, vintage design. I love the handling around curves. The lights. Damn near everything. The sound of course. I don’t like the few sticky buttons and panels I still have but I’m gradually gently removing the film. And though I don’t mind the soft top I wish they would’ve found a way to make the cars a little lighter to where a hardtop convertible design would’ve worked. I have a 2013 so I don’t have your more sporty front seats either. And of course the scarcity of finding ppl who can perform repairs or maintenance on them both.
@@vincevileborne yeah the last part I think is hurting the cars value. Many people don’t have a Maserati dealer nearby and i also think it’s not good to have just a single dealer nearby in case one gets bad service and have nowhere else to go. I used to have 3 Maserati dealers within 2 hours drive but one shut down. I assume since the other 2 dealers became busier as there was less competition prices on repairs increased. I was paying $360 for oil change then went up to like $600. Hopefully with the introduction of the Grecale more Maserati dealers open up .
@@k.matthews1158 yes, but when I bough this car, it still had warranty, so I let Maserati service it one time. After warranty expired I started doing it myself.
Nothing personal, but this was a terrible review. People want to know costs and potential trouble areas. Not to hear how comfortable it is over and over again.

Thanks for watching. Yeah the Granturismo is still a beautiful car after all these years

Thank you

How many miles on your Granturismo?

I look forward to these every year. Hoping to buy one within the next few months once prices finish "normalizing".

if you buy it carefull with the infontainment screen because it messes with the brain of the car and lights start showing up

How many miles on yours? I'm getting one right now with 40k miles (2015 GTS)
Love your consistency!
I’ve watched all your GT vids, still planning on getting one
One word. Rolex in Cars. 🔱

That’s actually 3 words lmao
I’m hoping one day to pick one up 🤞🏻 thanks for doing another helpful review video
Useful contents. Trying to buy one as a weekend

Nice that car new started at 125k. Awesome videos.
Which one you think is more reliable? (2005-2009 aston Martin db9), (2007-2014 aston Martin vantage), (2007-2013 Maserati granturismo)?

Did you buy an extended warranty for it? And if you did…how much was is?
I did not, but would have been $4500 for an extra 2 years
Was the sport mode on for the video? The exhaust seems quite loud at cruise.
No, but had exhaust valves open

No problem. This car has never had any issues, so I have nothing to say about repair costs or potential issues.
