It’s not a bicycle to control with tip toeing. If one can’t have a one complete feet on the ground it’s a high risk factor. Height definitely matters in this situation
If short riders want to only ride on tarmac one foot will do the job. Offroading js a different story altogether, not being able to touch the ground will be a huge handicap.
In India 70 percent of people below 5.5" , that's why tall Hight more than 800mm seat Hight motor cycle sale get limited.. sweet example Husky bikes and KTM had limited sale

Mere liye nahi hai I am 5'7 ek taraf ka leg pahunch jata hai but yeh bike long rides k liye hai pahadi raston k liye jisme piche bags bhi lagenge agar dono pair ek sath sahi se ground par nahi pahunchenge toh uneven roads par 100% accident ho jayega. So mere jaise height walon k liye ise lena waste of money hai😢😢😢
you are fine.. buy a biking boots. It has 1 inch thick soal. You will manage. If you have experience of handling 2 wheelers, you will have no issue. I am 5'7" and I rode Xpulse easily with normal shoes. Adventure 390 is 3 cm higher than Xpulse, it can be managed by thick soal shoes. Riding shoes.

Reality is ...Heights matters....Sometime u just have nanosecond to control on either side so for heavier cc look for low saddle for lower height.

Riding on highway is ok but if toes dont touch the ground together it will be extremely difficult to manage the bike while touring off road.

Skills do matter. I've seen 5'2 Shawties Smash me out when I'm 6'1 and i ride an XPulse on Trails.
