curl cream and a curling gel works well for styling is you have some longer hair. shampoo should only be done as needed but doing a curl refresh every couple of days is helpful. when you’re in the shower only use conditioner and style as needed afterwards
@@PT-oi4nhget a wide tooth comb and detangle and get trims every 3 months use a. Condioner with good hydration that lets the comb slide threw your hair in the shower and then maybe add a cream and then a gel or mouuse to seal the moisture
This is general advice by the way. Even though it’s slightly rarer, many people will have to shampoo more often depending on how greasy your hair gets. It’s a common misconception that they can’t, but people with curly hair can definitely have very greasy hair that needs more shampoo days than the average person.
The problem I have all these products work, but after 4-6 hours it’s back looking frizzy . I’ve done Leave in conditioner, Moose, Noodle head and curling gel. While it looks great , it’s back looking frizzy after a few hours
Only things you should be using everyday are leave ins and oils because it will give you product buildup using anything else and every 4 days if your hair is super super coarse and dry use a hair mask treatment if it isn’t too dry but still curly of course still use it every 1 to 2 weeks I recommend shea moistures hair masks, mielles rosemary hair mask and Camille roses moisture max conditioner or deep conditioning max both different or Maui moisture shea butter hair mask. I also recommend every 2 to 3/4 weeks use a co wash meaning no shampoo just a type of conditioner technically, I recommend you use as I ams coconut co-wash and really whatever your hair is it depends how many days you should shampoo I recommend for normal curly hair basic just shampoo every 4 to 5 days and some shampoos I recommend are based bodywork’s, Shea moistures shampoos, ogx coconut milk, Maui moisture coconut milk or coconut oil, inneressence, as I am, Mielle all have good shampoos and for conditioners Shea moisture, inneressence, pattern, Camille rose all have good ones and leave your conditioner in for 3 to 4 mins, after you wash your hair apply a treatment when still wet I recommend shea moistures coconut oil leave in treatment or there manuka and yogurt leave in treatment then apply a leave in my favourites are mielles rosemary leave in, based leave in, as I am classic or castor leave in, Camille roses moisture milk leave in. Unlike curl creams you can use a curl smoothie more often I recommend Maui moistures coconut oil curl smoothie and dry your hair but leave it a little damp still and apply a oil not to much mielle rosemary and Olaplex bonding oil are both good branded ones but actual oils I recommend castor oil, baobab oil, jojoba oil, argan oil are all good. Then finish it off with a oil mist you can spray on directly or personally I spray it on my hand and run it though some good ones are ogx oil mists argan oil or coconut milk and Maui moistures coconut milk oil mist. Then you can dry it off a bit more or leave it to air dry.
I have extreme curly hair which is sometimes called coily I think I have the curliest hair type 4c and it’s so hard to maintain and take care off like I have to buy so many proudcts like oils condition straight hair is a lot easier to maintain and in the morning it often gets tangled or flattened sometimes there so tangled that in the morning if I have to go into the shower use a lot of water until it’s able to shake and then use shampoo to detangle and it’s annoying
as someone with curly hair i can say you don't need a full routine just try to shampoo every 3 to 4 days instead of everyday and use a hair hydrating product afterwards and thats it
Um i have a question: I play a lot of sports and i sweat alot everyday, so i use hsampoo almost every day. Is it ok to not shampoo after sweating alot?
i have short hair which tend to be slightly curly when small but a little more intense when grown out, i also own a curling cream, can i use it or should i go for curling conditioner?
I have super wavy hair (some parts are curly other are a bit straighter) and they're super oily (if I don't shampoo every other day they end up being crazy dirty), also on shampoo days I find it much easier to style them (I have a fringe) rather than no shampoo days, anyone has tips for bed hair styling and how to avoid needing to shampoo 4 times a week?
idk if i have wavy or curly i have medium length hair and its like curls up in the front and back but i have no volume in the middle just flat af any idea and my hair is dry af
If I use hair products like pomade and curl enhancing smoothie should I still only shampoo twice a week? I am currently doing shampoo every other day because I feel gross after my daily gym
all ya ppl have perm, natural curly hair js wash their hair with shampoo everyday and enjoy our day we don’t need to put products, js a little bit of hair créame and that’s it
Bro, you started my "natural hair journey", my hair is curly now after the buzz and after months, a couple days ago I did more research and found out sulfates, sillicones, and parabens aren't damaging to your hair, these "natural" shampoos don't clean your hair at all, we need sulfates to clean it fully, it's not stripping, sillicones soften hair and protect it from humid weathers and parabens are preservatives, do better bro we need to spread this

shampoo is a pretty big priority yall, shampoo cleanses your hair from build up and moisturizes it so make sure you do it frequently but not often!!
