True they sacked Marcelino at the start of the season and are managed by a caretaker manager at the moment. Well they had alot of key players missing over those 2 games and in the last couple of weeks to be fair. Their starting 2 CBs Paulista and Garay. Missed their starting 2 ST Rodrigo and Gameiro, Cillesen GK and Guedes and Soler starting wingers missed the first leg. They've also lost 3-0 to Getafe, 4-1 to bottom table Mallaroca, 3-0 to Sociedad. And they are currently 7th. But Valencia really were improving under Marcelino going from bottom table to back to back top 4 finishes. To bad they're run by idiots.
Valencia still are in the same postion or are they doing better than they were few years back?
@@Fookracists They finished 4th the season before Gary was appointed and were in the Champions League. 8 months later they were batteling relegation.
@@Fookracists today they are 7th with their former succesful manager Marcelino sacked in September. The to seasons prior they finished 4th twice and played in the Champions League. Now they seem to be going down again.
This is so weirdly relatable. His reasons for giving up coaching are almost identical to why I gave up teaching.
Must be hard teaching when the students keep bringing up that night against USA
Fair play to Nev admitting he was weak.Talks so much sense
I am a life long Liverpool fan and i grew up hating Man U but this video was brill. I watched thi s with Gaz and them achieve everytihng. Good interview.
Great honest interview by Gary there, top bloke
Acceptance and Honesty! Got to give Gary credit. Not much people admit their insecurities/failures for all to see, with NO excuses. Salute✊
I still actually think Gary would make a good manager, I just don't get why you'd take a job in a foreign country as your first job where you don't speak the language know the culture or players or players from lower leagues
He said it, it was ego, that he could go to that type of a team and turn it around
He's just told you !
Very honest and self aware Gary Neville is. I didn't take to Gary Neville over the yrs. Perhaps coz I'm an arsenal fan. But i am starting to admire him. Very real and self critical.
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT INSIGHT
Typical plastic fan saying that.
It takes a real man to humble himself and be speak about his failures with humility. It sounds like he learnt a lot from his time in Valencia and it has improved him as a pundit as well
My respect for Gary Neville have gone sky-high! YNWA
Tank you for the interview and the main focusing point. Very insightful and much learnt.
geoff shreeves - broadcasting from what sounds like space - great job sky
😂😂😂😂😂
🤣
Cheers Geoff
Awww Garry is so honest it’s beautiful
Geoffs on a wind up🤣🤣 how has he got Souness, Smith and Cara books up facing the camera and Gary didn’t notice he wasn’t there! Would’ve been hilarious 😂
I never thought sky could replace andy gray but man gary is class. Couldn't stand carragher as a player and wanted to dislike him when he came to sky but him and gary bounce off each other and is pure entertainment
Loved every single bit of this
Thank You Gentleman for such an honest & entertaining interview. I would have liked to have seen more of Gary's art collection but you allowed me to escape if only for an hour!
Jon Moss' shop is the Vinyl Whistle not the Vinyl Countdown !!!
Well done Gary. Your honesty was refreshing. I'd suggest you give yourself another chance and manage an English club.
I love his David Bowie Art Piece on Wall.
His taste in art and decor is as disastrous as his managerial decisions. Neon in your front room never works. Particularly when your front room resembles a council house in Salford ffs.
I saw Gary on the flight Manchester to Valencia just before he started. Laptop in hand, on the phone, face all serious.
I approached to ask for a picture, I let my excitement get the better of me being a man united fan since childhood He told me to bugger off as he was on the phone.
On the flight I could glimpse at his laptop screen all the way in front ‘business class’
Looked like some hard graphics, stats and tables.
Never thought much of it. Until I found out he’d later signed on at Valencia
I was a little upset given that he hadn’t take the picture
When we got off at the airport in Valencia he came looking for me and took the selfie of us.
I thought very kind of him. I am a big fan and he is a legend and a good man.
I just hope I didn’t jinx his time at Valencia while I was upset on the whole flight over!
4:03..as an American Neville’s Kentucky pronunciation is awesome. 😂
24:29 why we not hearing anything lol?
