I'm not an Arsenal fan but I have to admit refereeing standard is terrible at the moment. I used to feel bad for refs as they have a difficult job but I've seen bad decision after bad decision recently. I watch League One games sometimes and the referees are pretty bad in L1 too, wouldn't expect it from the top league however. Don't know what is going on they need to sort it out, isn't just for Arsenal though almost all teams get decisions against them. Not a fan of Var at all either it has ruined this league.

The main issue is, why was Taylor appointed for this game when is now already officiated Liverpool 3 times in 9 games this season? 3 times the same team, could happen at the end of a season, not the 9th game. A third of the games the same ref? How is this not matchfixing?
Why there are no refs from London? Why a Newcastle fan is appointed to officiate Arsenal when they’re level on point with Newcastle? Why a Liverpool fan is appointed at VAR before Arsenal-Liverpool? I've been watching this corruption for 3 decades, incredible to me that some fans are only just finding their voice about it.
We have been playing against the referees 9/10 matches in the Premier League for 30+ years whilst other teams get assistance, for a long time it was Man Utd, then Chelsea and now City, Tottenham too (not that it matters) and Liverpool in the past also got favoured over us of course.
Football is dead, the love of my life has been destroyed by corruption and I've become apathetic.
Maybe we should just try and win the Champions League, if Barcelona aren't still buying off the refs which has cost us winning it in the past as well.

Any intelligent manager doesn’t take off his two best attacking threats in Saka and Martinelli and leave on a negative in Havertz.
