Feenin is one you should listen to if you like DeVante's production. DeVante had full control creatively by their second album. Also, Cry For You is a good one from that album. He wrote and produced H-Town's Part Time Lover, which is pure fire. He also did the duet between Mary J. Blige and K-Ci from Jodeci, called If Loving you is All that I have to do. He is a rare talent and has never gotten the credit he deserves.
Devante and his brother Dalvin add great fullness and harmony to their tracks and were added eye candy but the vocal agility of Jojo & KCi cannot be matched. Love 4 Life, Freak You, Feenin, Forever My Lady, Come & Talk to Me are some great ones to react to and most have videos. I’d suggest you do their cover of Lately first. It’s a classic. There’s even a Martin episode with them singing this song that’s hilarious. They were huge when I was growing up.
