My father is from the North of Croatia, the province of Podravina, at the Croatian-Hungarian border. His father came from Međimurje, the small province very close to Hungary and Slovenia. His hometown was on the today's border of Croatia and Hungary. My mother came from the province of Slavonia in the Eastern part of Croatia. Her family is from the town at the Croatian and Bosnia and Herzegovina's border.

@@Luksi-vc1xp hi, maybe I will give it a try. I've already wanted to try with another genealogy company but I'm still doing research. However, I am pretty happy with My heritage results although I haven't got any updates yet. Th genetic groups which I got seemed kind of accurate because my surname is a name of one ethnic group in Russia, Ukraine and Hungary. However, it's hard for me to trace my ancestors because no one from my relatives or distant relatives did the test. I don't have any data about living relatives in any of those countries. So, it's hard way to do research but I would definitely try to find new genealogy testing and compare the results. I haven't heard about illustrative DNA before. So, thanks. I'll let you know if I do it.
