    Thanks for posting this! I'm the runner with the blue pack and trekking poles at the 2:53 mark. It was cool to get to show this to my family and friends.

    You posted the video before they posted the results! That's a quick turnaround. We love Racoon creek Park but my relay group preferred this location over last years. Easier support at this location. Probably also helped that it was 5 degrees for last years race and in the 60s this year. Great video bud, lots of good info!

      The venue was amazing! Overall, it was an incredible event. Hoping to take part in it myself next year.

    Ran and finished the 100M. Great course, top notch aid stations and one of THE MOST well organized races out there. Awesome, huge belt buckle, highly recommended, 10/10

      The guys at Wolf Creek Race Management never fail to put on an A+ race. Check out some of their other races throughout the year.

    Really cool! This is my local park that I do a lot of my runs at. I stopped by on Saturday to watch some of the 100 mile runners

      Those 100 milers sure had a lot of mud!

    Wow! Looks like they put on a great race. And that “stream” crossing would be something to have to overcome. You’re not not going to get sloppy feet on that. On my list now. Great video.

      They absolutely do! I am planning on running this year. New this year is the option to skip the stream crossing. It adds a small bit of distance, but your feet should be drier and warmer!

      @@StillGoingFarthat’s nice. I would definitely opt for that and that’s definitely more of a creek. I’ve already got a race that day so it will be 2026 for me.

    Great video. Saw myself on the 100k start. It was my first 100k. Intense but a lot of fun.

    Looks like a fun race. The stream crossing must have been cold.

      The water was chilling! Most people I talked to afterwards said they had a blast.

    What mile is the water crossing? I'm doing the 100 in 2025, so curious if it is toward the beginning, middle, or end of a loop.

    • @StillGoingFar
      @StillGoingFar  2 месяца назад

      It's about 2/3 of the way through the loop. There is an option to skip this year; it adds about 2.5 miles to the 100 miler.

    that stream crossing was great until about 2/3rds of the way in then the cold hit.

      That's what everybody was saying! Those last couple feet had everyone complaining.
