My kitty isn't a lap cat, but she will sit near me sometimes or on the top of the chair, which is nice :). She follows me some. She nudges my hand with her head and rubs against my legs. She does like jaw or head scritches some and will close her eyes and I'll tell her "Spa day!" She sits in my kitchen chair sometimes and in my dad's kitchen chair. The table top is "No Ma'am" Land (as are other places in the house) but when she's sitting on or under places that are ok for her to sit, like the coffee table, I'll say "Good girl! Good girl!" so she knows it's ok for her to be there. When she's somewhere she shouldn't be, I'll tell her "No ma'am! No ma'am, Muggsi Blanche!" and then "Good girl! Good girl, Muggsi Blanche" when she turns and walks away.

@@wiseanimalschannel Thank you! She's gotten better about NOT trying to get into the utility room but will sit in the kitchen so I say "Good girl! Good girl!" when she's just sitting there watching :).
@@lisacox4984 my cat also follows me around at times and when I move, she comes to me! Like your cat, my cat is the best cat that I got and we're one of the lucky ones!
