My cat does all these. As a retired combat veteran with more than a few mental issues, my cat anchors me and takes care of me. I rescued her from a dumpster where someone threw her when she was a kitten. We both had a rough start in life but six years later, she's living the perfect cat life with me.

Um, a cat CAN and will hug you physically when they love and appreciate you. Two strays that lost their mom regularly will, during quiet time, sit up on their hind legs reach both front paws in the air at my hand motioning me to reach down and they wrap the paws around my hand rubbing against my hand with their face. Heart warming ❤.

I rescued my Izzybelle 4 years ago and after 3 years of living together she now comes to me,rolls over to show me her tummy and reaches for my hand for a tummy rub, we love each other deeply

I've had 5 cats so far and the laying down on the keyboard, can also mean - "stop paying attention to that and pay attention to me." I was working on a big jig saw puzzle for a few days, and one evening while I was working on the puzzle, my big, male cat got on the table, walked straight toward me, and laid down on top of the part of the puzzle I was working on. I picked him up, went to the couch and spent a lot of time with him, when he was satisfied, I was able to go back to my puzzle without interruption.
That is one of their ways to get our attention! My Indi walks on the keyboard and, when that is not enough, he just sit so that he covers the entire screen and he WON'T move!!!
I got a cat from the shelter about 10 months ago now and the little guy I got does all of these things awwww! Adorable!

We have three, one of whom we brought in directly from the outside. Her kittens are with our neighbor. We've had her inside for just over a year now. She's still a little squeamish with being handled, but she's cool with being petted. She's very gentle and never shown any hostility. Loves to play and sprint up and down hallways. She'll slow blink us, rub up against us and sometimes sleep with us in our already overcrowded bed. I'd love to take credit for it, but it's all because of our black cat. She's obsessed with him, and I'm sure his presence is why she acclimated to indoor life so quickly. He's eight now, and we've had him since we saw him as a kitten in the shelter. I had never had a cat before, and I quickly went from being indifferent towards them to being obsessed. So in conclusion, a seventeen pound black cat has changed multiple lives.

@@mlt177 Yes. I glossed over that part but we worked with a trapper. She was taken to the Town to be fixed, and we asked for her to be tested for everything with the intention of eventually adopting her, our first obligation of course being the safety of the two cats we already had. The Town ended up not holding her for adoption as it deemed her not friendly enough, so it released her back into the custody of the trapper. We took her in at that point. They estimated she'd gotten pregnant at four or five months old. To think about what she must've gone through being so young while caring for four kittens is heartbreaking.

My cat scored 100 %. She is sleeping, with belly exposed right next to me. She brings me her stuffed toys(in door only cat) to share, and every single time I head to the restroom, she beats me there, demands I pick her up after weaving around and around my legs. She bursts into purrs while kneading my neck or arms(I hold her like a baby) I trim her nails every couple of weeks as I am a pet groomer.
What is the secret to trimming my cats claws? She absolutely hates having her claws trimmed. My wife & I have to do it together...me trimming while she holds her from moving & running into the next room. It's to the point of hissing at us. Other than this, she's the sweetest cat you can imagine.
Do we have to medicate her prior to trimming her claws? If so.....what do we give her to calm down?

I have one who does this all of the time. Yes. It does hurt.
My cat is obsessively attached to me it’s crazier than preschoolers being attached to their mommy’s if at all. My cat even follows me to the bathroom. I love her so much. She is so well behaved, I can cuddle her for hours grab her carry her, rub her tummy nose and she never hisses or bites. The best thing is trimming her claws is so easy because she just lies there relaxed and chill until I’m done. I’ve seen cats who go psycho on their owners when they touch their paws let alone trim their claws.
My cat loves belly rubs. hugs me with his tail and points whiskers at. Sleeps no my chest and by my chest, head and feet when in bed. Blinks at me and loves kisses. Kneeds me. Pats my arms, leags, hands and head when he wants attention. Always by my side euther sleeping or talking to me
The cat I sleep with can never get too many belly rubs.

@@wiseanimalschannel Unfortunately he has a tendency to get overstimulated. I sleep on my left side with my right knee on a pillow. He attacks my left foot. I need to go to bed with 3 thick socks on my left foot for safety reasons. If he is unable to hurt me, I can simply not respond, and he will give up and then go to sleep.
My cat reached up and put her front paws around my neck when she was a kitten. I thought it was a hug. Now we watch TV together.
My cat did that too! Right up until the day he passed away. At 9 from leukemia. nothing better than a kitty hug!

Our cat used to wrap up dead birds or mice in my rag rug. When I came downstairs in the morning, if the rug was all scrunched over, I knew I had a dead present lol. If it was laid out straight and flat as normal, she hadn't caught anything for me the previous night. It was really handy to know. If it was scrunched and there was nothing wrapped in it, then you know you have to hunt for a mouse in the house, just in case. She was pretty lethal though, to be fair - we never saw anything live brought in.

3 of my cats kneed on soft blankets and suckle on them. Its the cutest thing ive ever seen. Another 2 kneed and 1 does her "mitten dance 😂" on soft blankets. I have 7 only my oldest male doesnt do something like it but I think hes the only one that wasnt born outside. I went from 1 to 7 cats in 2 years. Yikes. Cant save anymore. ALL are vetted! None have had kittens.
I wake up with our cat sleeping beside me every day. And EVERY time i walk she does the plop down in front of us exposing her belly. She does all of these traits as well and loves her mousies toys and places them in different locations or she'll bunch them all up in the same place and there's 8 of em

The trick is to make the cat adapt to you. Most of these are big yes, so are a "no."
1. Belly rubs - yes, but I don't "rub" it. I just gently place the palm of my hand on their belly (and I have big hand, so it's like a big blanket). My cat likes that a lot.
2. Morning cuddles - no. My can senses that I'm stressed trying to get ready to go to work in the morning, so she doesn't get in the way. At best she affectionately rubs her back on my dirty underwear before I throw it in the dirty laundry basket. But coming home from work - now there is a welcoming committee every day!
3. Keyboard takeover - oh, my cat is trained in that regard. She never gets "on the keyboard", she lays down between the keyboard and my screen. I get to cuddle her and play games/watch youtube videos at the same time.
4. All the classics are there: trusting sleep, purring, lovely stares and "making biscuits". Although this last one is VERY uncomfortable/painful if you don't cut her claws regularly. But if that last one is the case, my cat quickly understands this and just lays on me with her paws folded inward.

I have 2 cats. One is always following me rubbing on my legs and giving me his attentive meow when he wants to play with his wand which is all the time. I wake up in the middle of the night and he is at the end of my bed staring at me. I feel bad. My girl makes biscuits when she wants attention and wants a snack. She always blocks me from watching RUclips on my iPad and will walk across my laptop keyboard or just plops down on it and stares at me. She wants treats. My friend and I kidnapped two kittens from a drug house. When we got them home the female ran and hid under my skirt for an hour. She picked me. The next day we kidnapped the mother and took her to a no kill shelter and mom was adopted within two days. That was eleven years ago and I love my fur baby more and more with each passing day.😸

I have one cat who is head over heels in love with me, and another whose function seems to be acting as a sentry. Who never sees anything that needs to be reported, but at least she's on duty.
So when all the cats curled up and slept on me so when I woke up I couldn't move lol that was just love not a prank lol
I love cats we had one inside cat I hadn't gotten her fixed yet, unknown to me she had a way to get out and in without me noticing thru the basement Then I saw her outside and started calling vets most in my area were not taking new clients or booked for months so we had kittens so I changed the appointment thought I blocked basement off. 4 months later more kittens, now we have 8 cats but all are fixed.

Thx i have to ask i have a female kitty she's been with me for 14yrs since she was a kitten. But she " does the meowing but sometimes she gets a deep Voice " like she hears me speak " wondering is she trying to talk like me. To be honest " she knows " i am Daddy." But in her deep Vocals she is sounding like she is actually saying me name..am i crazy ?
Cats do a lot something that is called mirroring - they mimic what we do.
Plus which also consider that cats use vocalisation only to talk to us. And they recognize some words. All of this leads means you are not crazy. You have a smart kitty who knows how to make daddy’s heart melt!!!
We got our Cat from an animal refuge about three months ago. She is two years old. A black and white Domestic Short hair ( my wife is a Domestic Long hair 😊 )
Apparently from this video it seems she loves me ( the cat that is ) she rubs against me, in the morning when I'm on the loo she comes and rolls around by my feet and she often exposes her tummy and enjoys a rub. Plus she sleeps at the bottom of our bed.
BUT, she does not come when called unless I have food for her. She does not want to sit next to me/us on the couch.....although she frequently rests near our feet or in one of her beds near us. And she does not like being on my lap.
So all in all I'm a little confused as to why she does not do these things yet seems to love me/us by doing the other stuff?

The rubs and the rolls and the tummy are clear signs of love.
All cats are very unique. It does not mean that she doesn’t love you if she doesn’t come to you or sit next to you on the sofa.
Some cats are more affectionate others less and others are on and off.
She clearly loves you.
You also need to give her time. You mentioned she comes from an animal refuge and is 2 years old. She has past experiences that condition her for sure.
Plus which, she has been with you for 3 months only and it takes time to bond and create trust.
Keep showing her love and she will give you more than you can imagine.

she will show her belly but I never better touch it. sometimes she lets me touch her and sometimes not. she will look down the hall into the kitchen to see if I am coming to the bedroom. she sleep on half of my bed. she has a blanket, 4 stuffed animals and her tablet. it was old so I gave it to her We have taught her not to leave the yard. I walked her around the yard and would gently pull her back and tell her no. she has only did it once, I forgot to tell her she can't chase the chipmunk.. she didn't get it. she is such a snob that after 2 1/2 years only 2 of our adult kids and a neighbor across the street can touch her and she wont go hide.
