  • Stewart McKinley of Drake's Well Museum and Park shows us around the site as he pumps the famous well. Unfortunately (but not unexpectedly) it only pumped brine on this day. The oil only came after the water had all been pumped off.

This well needs Zach to attend her to make product with a pumper and oil separator. This well looks like it makes enough gas to run a Reid pump of course it might be more productive to run electric. Where is the injection well in location to the oil well. A study of the geological area will find a way to make this well very productive even today.

Zach could certainly make this a better producer I bet.

seems it might be more worth trying to bottle that gas or pipe it somewhere or use it for an engine of some kind.

Heck, you could run a steam engine with it as is. Just hook it straight to a boiler.

Why doesn't it use the gas to run its engine instead of the flare?

@@synapticburn I’m not mad I just think it’s funny thinking of someone being mad about that flame burning for however long it has. I mean they cry about cow farts for heaven’s sakes

Swap that electric engine for a hit and run gasengine! Why pay for electric bills on a well if you can make it run on its own?
