    I'm about 6'2" and found the Insight more than roomy enough. I can sit comfortably behind the driver's seat when it is adjusted for me.

    A few things: Accord offers heated and ventilated seats on the Touring trim. Insight gets heated seats. No EX-L trim on the Insight, I test drove both the EX and Touring Insight, I felt like the Touring had a lot of features on the Insight over the EX. It's bigger leap than between EX/EXL on the Accord.
    Speaking of features: one thing I am upset about is that in the U.S. models vs Canadian is that Honda deleted a lot of features for both vehicles, the rear tail lights on the Accord are a good example: all but the Touring trim level the inner tail light on the trunk lid is only a reflector and not an active brake light, the touring trim is the only one with the side view mirror turn signals, and the rear USB charge ports are considered a separately purchasable "accessory", but in Canada all of those are standard features.
    Overall you cannot go wrong with either car, biggest determinant is going to be your need for space, I think. I'm a taller guy looking to start a family soon, so I wanted the bigger back seat for car seats and a dog.
    Just a bit of constructive criticism, you use "actual" a lot as a crutch word. Try watching yourself in takes and re-shoot being conscious of your use of crutch words. Otherwise I feel like your content is well put together here.

      I would go for the Honda Insight and save up for one since I don’t have children nor am married, so I go for that vehicle for both gas mileage and legroom. I’m starting to return to work and go grocery shopping as soon as the CoronaVirus pandemic slows down/is over. 😀😀 However, I did some research on the Toyota Prius which is about the size of a Honda Insight, which contains lower legroom space.

    It all really boils down to the horsepower & overall space. They both have many similarities inside and outside. I like the Insight rear better, but the Accord front better. I really like the Insight interior much better especially on the top trim. I like space and power, so Accord for me. Before you invest in either one, try to seek a built in Japan unit if possible, better quality. Excellent review Bro

    • @henrymao89
      @henrymao89 4 года назад +1

      I agree with the Japanese having the best quality of their vehicles. American vehicles don’t have much durability as the Japanese, which last only 5-10 years, which is about 6 times lower than your retirement age. Not sure about the Korean vehicles from Kia or Hyundai. I believe that vehicles from Japan have the best quality and best selling vehicles from their end, which last for about 15-20 years which is nearly 3 times lower than your retirement age.

    I truly love my 2020 Insight EX. Great value. I get crazy good mileage w/ the warm SoCal climate & LA traffic. But a quieter cabin and some more power w/Accord does have value. Although Sport Mode is surprisingly "peppy". Really depends on whats most important. I was already stretched to the limit on final cost numbers. For me, price difference & better mpg was enough to make my decision easy. This was my first ever new car, something I never thought I'd do. But if I wanted hybrid, I'd rather be the FIRST owner, and baby it from day one. No regrets, 5k miles into it.

      Awesome! It's really hard to go wrong with either car! I just bought my 2020 Honda Accord EX, and I really had a lot of difficulty deciding which I liked better! The Insight actually had some better color combos I thought, since you could get it with a Mocha interior. Also in SoCal, albeit a bit further south from you. Ultimately I decided on the Modern Steel with Black interior for ease of keeping it clean.

    I think the insight looks better both exterior and interior. Also more compact so it fits in more parking spots. Only downside is the smaller gas tank and I heard theres less sound isolation and the engine sounds more annoying. Also no blind spot monitoring.. they have the old school right turn blinker camera instead

    Nice review but its a shame you didn't compare the Accord with the Insight touring model. The touring model has led fog lights, leather & power driver seat, leather steering wheel, heated seats, much nicer alloy wheels, led turn signal front & rear and led brake & tail lights. Almost forgot it also has a sun roof. I've had my 2019 Insight touring for almost 2 years now & absolutely love it. The ride is just so smooth and the mpg I get is way beyond what they rate it at.

    Again you’re looking at a 200+ horsepower for the accord and the insight is about 121? Car go fast ya know? Accord Hybrid is more of engine + battery, while insight just feels like a true hybrid just luxury added (has a “space” noise to alert pedestrians). No spare tires bc of weight just the tire repair kit. Your 3/36k manufactures warranty comes with roadside assistance though with trip interruption.
