- This is a quick walk around on the 2020 Honda insight EX. If you are considering purchasing one, or have already purchased one this is a nice refresher over the amenities in the vehicle.
I've seen quite a few reviews of this car and think you gave the best explanation of the controls and systems of the Insight.
Thanks for watching!
My good sir! Today is Feb 2024, and I'm watching your video after test-driving a 2020 Insight EX at CarMax. I was blown away by the mileage and quality of experience. Muchos thankys! Your video is still putting in work after all these years! l
Just bought 2020 EX, this vid will be watched a lot, thanks for making it
Thanks for watching!
Just got my Insight. Dealer explained all the buttons and such but i needed a quick review on everything!
Thanks for watching!
i feel the same way. ,mine explained as well but this explantion is perfect
Just got the 2021touring today. New additional features are rear cross alert and they replaced the right lane camera with blind spot monitoring (both sides) 👏👏👏 love it!!!
Me too, but mine is an EX
Justin. This is so helpful. Better than the dealership. Is there a way to see engine temperature? Like on the dash, or on the screen??
The 2019 Inspire EX is an awesome car, I own one and it's fun to drive and everything is intuitive. Don't expect a hotrod when you buy one, it's all about fuel economy. I recently discovered that driving through the mountains of east Tennessee and Kentucky the car is loud and the engine works hard to maintain the speed limit with ACC and your mpg are reduced. On a flat road traveling at 65 mph I get 51 mpg, in the city I average 58 mpg. Your best fuel economy is dependent on how you drive. When my 21 year old son drives the mpg is reduced by 10%.
Hey I’m just curious, about how many miles can you go on one tank?
@@brandonwilking6500 , I have EX 2019 and one full tank, I can go around 500 milles
Okay, now I want an Insight. I wanted the Accord Hybrid at first but still wanted something smaller and this is the best because everything I wanted in that vehicle is basically in the Insight. And it's cheaper than what I was going to get with the Accord. Thank you!
My Insight is always mistaken for an Accord. I think it’s the perfect size and best looking car on the dealers lot.
Thank you for making this video I just bought this car and omg I love it
I just got this car i'm using it for doordash, i did not know about the voice button using siri thing. super cool. :D
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
On EV mode is it true you can only use it up to 25mph, and if so does pressing the button at higher speeds harm the electrical questions?
I currently own a 2020 Insight EX. If you have the econ mode on, the car will turn on the EV mode on its own if you are cruising but it doesn't last long. The car will charge it as you go though
What’s the difference between 2019 and 2020 ex
It is a simple refresh, not a large overhaul. So very little if any.
Wonderful review. You were thorough and straight to the point, you definitely gained a new subscriber.
Awesome! Thanks for watching & Subscribing!
Very detailed review Justin, I have one question about this car: in the dashboard, we can only see the battery, but there is no water temperature. Do you know if there is way to check that?
I do not know off hand. may have to do some digging...
Thank you for making this review!!!!
Thanks for watching!
Great job on the presentation
Thank you!
Any significant changes from the 2019 model or a reason to go with the 2020 instead? Any lumbar support? Thanks!
The EX trim does not offer lower lumbar support. The 2019 and 2020 are the same body style. So you could save and buy a 1 yr old model, or buy the newest if that is what you prefer. Your preference on this, but you should get the same amenities.
Does this vehicle have wireless charging pad?
Best Description. Thanks :)
Thanks for watching!
Which app to down load to connect my maps?
You did a thorough review.
Are you able to add accessories such as fog lights and an auto dimming mirror to this model?
Yes you can.
This video Looks very bright, a bit washed out 🤷♂️. Might need to check the settings
How come the Touring model of the 2020 Honda Insight gets 4 miles less MPG?
my guess: would be weight from additional features.
17 inch rims
Can you tell me if the arm rests are really hard or do they have a bit of cushion? If they are hard is it bothersome?
They have some cushion.
AWESOME REVIEW!
Thanks for watching!
This is the perfect hybrid sedan in my opinion because the Corolla hybrid.... well it feels like a Corolla hybrid
still no blind sight monitoring.....
I know right. Come on Honda
Well, 2021 Insight finally gets that along with rear cross traffic alert
when is the 2020 civic sedan coming?
Should start seeing them in the next month or so.
Best review 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Does the insight come with sunroofs ?
The Touring trim does.
@@JustinFullerReviews thanks for info
Very informatice
Look nice
I buy today
Aw man, no test drive ☹️
I don't typically drive them in videos. I encourage those considering the vehicle to though.
I left my window open the first week and it rained. I thought no big deal, it’s just water. WRONG! It stained the material and never looked normal since! Terrible material for the seats!
Not the cars fault then who would do that lol
@@luism8612 you can’t even put a damp paper towel on the seat without it staining. Car dealers have a A special solution that they put on the seats now that cost $500. They tack that on to the used vehicles when they resell them. They don’t specify that until you see it added onto the paperwork when you buy it.
@@marthareynolds7747 what color interior do you have?
@@SIIKAP1 It’s taupe color. I used Resolve to clean it and it seemed to help.
@@marthareynolds7747 ok thank you!
hmm the video seems a bit foggy
L
We know about Bluetooth and Phones, it is a car, not a Tablet, stick to the interesting parts of the car, the Hybrid drive train
This video Looks very bright, a bit washed out 🤷♂️. Might need to check the settings
It's tricky to film inside cars when it's bright outside and the camera changes settings so you can see the shadows and dark areas of the interior. I've seen some people on RUclips put up sunshades to avoid the issue but then he wouldn't be able to show us stuff like the Brake Hold function as easily.
Sun was definitely out this day. Tried to move the car around to help out some....
Try using filmic pro app it allows you to lock the brightness and focal point.
That is the dreamy effect of a filthy camera lens.
