This is what I call adventure, Gabriel! Would love to travel to such a unique place and film my experience. Hopefully the borders will reopen soon and travel will get back to normal. Cheers, mate!
The landscape in the northern part of Iraq looks stunning. I was in 03/04 in Iraq and was stationed near the beautiful Euphrates river. One of my highlights was the ancient city Uruk established 4000 BC. It's located at Al-Warka, Muthanna.
I must have missed your videos on Kurdistan! It was nice to see this video. I went to Kurdistan in July 2019 and had one of the best experiences ever. This region is full of history, culture, delicious food, hospitality unmatched anywhere else. Locals would always invite over for tea or dinner and they always wanted to engage in conversation. I did hire a local guide to take me around and he was great. I’m an American female and had no problem saying so, they were always even more interested in knowing more and were glad to hear Americans want to travel there. I was always asked where I was from, not sure if that was just because I don’t look white, I’m a light skin toned Latina and had dyed my hair with blonde highlights a few months before.
Gabriel, Jacob and Bald and Bankrupt are some of the best travel vloggers. I binge watch their videos much more than netflix. They have a passion for offbeat paths .. All of them covered my country at length ..
Wow, what a stark contrast to the rest of Iraq ... Iraq is a treasure trove of historical artifacts and significance, shame all the violence and destruction that's been occurring there
Arc Angel Gabriel ❣great to see you in Iraq brother 🌹Iraq is a most beautiful and ancient place. Very mysterious and magnificent🌹I just love this video. Outstanding my friend 🌹you take care of yourself Gabriel ❣most Affectionately Gina 🌹🥰
Haha even if he said he’s American, it would have been fine. Kurds don’t hate Americans, and even those who do aren’t gonna say it to your face or try to kill you

Thank you Gabriel for showing us this beautiful place and these beautiful people. I want to go to Kurdistan now. Before I saw this video, I thought that it was not a place for me, but this video is showing me what a beautiful place it is. :)
I just really wish they would do some cultural research prior to making a video. Those are not " necklaces" they are prayer beads, not as prayer , but as a Kurdish past time , worry beads , the men have them . The tea is AMAZING and yah , more context please and cultural awareness:)
Fantastic vidéo.. didn t know much about Iraqi Kurdistan...Must still have been sort of dangerous, even in 2018... Sending you all my best wishes from Paris, after a long absence du to severe covid issues in our hospitals, exhausting work and too many victims. We were taught how to heal , not to count dead patients and to announce it to their famillies 🖐🖐 Going through real hard and uncertain times...
This was filmed in 2019 and originally posted as five separate videos. I'm chillaxing back home in California right now and going through old stuff. So I edited those five videos down to one better video.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos I started a RUclips channel, thank you for inspiring me and others. I will film 20 minute videos starting this summer when I fly out to Greece, Bulgaria, Italy, UK, Sweden. One day I will visit Iraq. I've read so much about its rich history and was heart broken and quite frankly fuming to see the American invasion and destruction. But the spirit of the people is still intact and it makes me quite happy. Praying for a fast recovery of the economy and a healthy life for my Iraqi brothers and sisters 🙏🏽
What's up with the anomaly of low incidence of rona in India? Do you think that it's because of the higher use of ivermectin possibly? Because I will start packing those several necessary doses, just in case.
Yes, we started using it in France for positives, plus azitromycin ( antibiotics, macrolid class, even if covid19 is a virus! ) And it works...some don t even need O2 supply ...
You are from Canada now? Lol.. I understand why you would not want to say you are from the US. We did them wrong and they probably hate us. Great video.
So it seams that you always take political massage in your videos. Probably is the same way, why you write "Kurdistan" which has no political status.
