- After waiting 3+ months for my manual Honda Rebel 1100 to finally get here, I did NOT expect it to show up damaged! But that's what happened. Either way, I couldn't be more excited to finally be one of the first owners of the 2021 Rebel 1100, let alone one of the very first to have one of the new Honda Rebels with the manual transmission! I can already tell this bike is going to be an absolute BLAST, so definitely expect much more content with this Rebel 1100 in the near future! Content will include exhaust installation, install videos for all my other modifications, first ride impression, long term reviews, motovlogs, and more!

Picking up my 1100 in 8 days! The jitters are real. Thankfully in Finland around midsummers, our sun doesn't set, so I don't need to worry about riding in the dark! XD

Oh man, congratulations! I had the Vulcan S and I tried the rebel 500 and did watch your review of it. Yep I totally agree to all the points that were mentioned in that video. Congratulations on the new bike! Now I'm curious as to how it compares to the Rebel 500 in terms of seat comfort, and rear travel suspension. I hope a first ride impression and review will be out soon. I literally just subbed for that. This bike is on my radar as a possible upgrade! :D
I bought a 21' Honda Rebel 1100 manual, it came to the Honda dealership damaged, so i waited 3 weeks to bring it home, good little bike, and still got it today.

Gotta say, I wanted a new rebel 1100 to replace my shadow 750, your shot of the bike made me want it more. This bike in black looks good.
We’ve had a ton of units come in damaged at my dealership. It honestly sucks. I get upset every time. Luckily my customers have always been understanding.

Got mine a week ago. Black with manual transmission! LOVE IT SO FAR! The dealer had only gotten 2 DCT models in and said it would be April before they got a manual. then they called me a couple of days later and said they just got one in. I said "I'm on the way". Hopped in an Uber and an hour later I was riding her home!

WOW! You're lucky, I'm still struggling with my dealership. in dec. '22 i put money down for 1100 standard, two months earlier i was put on a waiting list, they will not take a down payment then, they said they would call. So, early Dec. they took my deposit saying they have delivery in a week. End of dec. nothing. walked into the dealership to inquire, there was a 2023 1100T sitting in the showroom, thought it was mine until i realized its not. asked about my order and told they might not get '22s anymore. so, i told them i want the 1100T since it was not sold to anyone yet. walked around it, it was rope in so nobody would sit on it. they took my offer went through the initial paperwork, took our check. we finally made it to the sales office signed paperwork chose warranties and the salesman walked in saying there was a slight issue with the bike. Seriously? why was it not mentioned earlier? scratches/chip on the front wheel missing a mirror which i did make much of it i thought it only came with one, " too excited at the moment " scratch on the header pipe, a long scratch on the muffler. when i said then they have to replace the parts, they were not too receptive to that. i said just take 1K off the top get the mirror and get me some touch up paint. they didn't take 1K off the top said they will have the mirror done in a couple of days. i couldn't take the bike home since the cant release the bike with no mirrors. up to today, no word from the touch up paint. I've contacted Honda stating i want the parts replaced.
Dealer: "there’s your new bike-"

Congrats dude ! I look forward to watching you first video on the Rebel 1100. I think you made a good decision to buy a manual bike i.s.o. the DCT version. I plan to do the same. It's funny how you are allowed to pay cash that amount of money. Here in Spain no dealer would accept cash, it is forbidden by law to pay cash for any kind of goods if the cost exceeds 1.000 Euros.

I put a deposit down on a Rebel 1100 manual & when it came in it was the damned DCT version PLUS it had sustained shipping damage as well. More damage that you’re saying yours got. I think they need to lay off the sake and secure them in the crate better.
I heard about the crates tipping over and damaging some of the Rebel 1100s. Some of them had some pretty nasty damage. Luckily mine came in damage free. Looking forward to seeing what you do to yours for some inspiration for mods I do to mine!
Fortunately mine made it out pretty good compared to others! Plenty of mods on the way so stay tuned!!
What type of damage have you heard about ? I took mines to first oil change and found out it’s been leaking oil out of its housing .
@@pineroqgtm minor things from just bent pedal controls or bent handle bars to completely wrecked gas tanks or fenders. And I'm pretty sure I heard there were a few that were write offs too.
My guess is you're getting the TBR since Vance & Hines is providing us a pipe. 😁

Hi I been looking at ur channel for while so I have few questions sense u have both the 500 and the 1100. I use to drive sport bike many years ago I gain lot weight so I stop riding. So I just lost about 100 pounds and I been contemplating to buy a cruiser bike, but I don't want to jump in a big bike but i don't want to get in to small bike and look like clown I still big guy but short I'm only 5,7 weight 250 sorry about the hole story my question ❓ is wish one u think bi should get

The one on Ritchie isn’t a Honda dealer, only the Baltimore location handles any Honda products. I wish the Ritchie one did though because it’s right down the street from me!
