Orochimaru and Minato were child geniuses both mentally and physically, yet Orochimaru turned evil because he only cared about Jutsu and his experiments, while Minato had a kind heart and an extremely mature mindset from even before his Ninja Academy days and loved Konoha and its citizens.

VerhztFN tobirama created the jutsu not the technique or way minato uses it, it’s like minato created the rasengan but not the giant rasengan or any of the variations naruto uses, he created those himself

Ummm... Kakashi basically started charging after him with the Chidori. His options at that point were rather limited. Though he very much could have made a run for it, after the first shadow clone got hammered. But I think he assumed he could make small work of Kakashi and then run for it. Of course, that was his big mistake. If he had just let the shadow clone get hammered and make a general run for it, he could have made it.

Chidori was a jutsu kakashi discovered himself before receiving the saringan.
