Actually, Kakashi did NOT kill Rin. It was a self-sacrifice by Rin herself. Some time after the events at Kannabi Bridge, Rin was kidnapped by Kirigakure and made the jinchūriki of Isobu in order to have her be rescued so the tailed beast could be let loose within Konoha.

Even though kakashi was the "sensei", he was a character with tremendous depth and growth too. At the start of the series, he was a man with a lot of burdens but at the end, he just seemed like a really chill retired hokage. He really came to terms with all his hardships and learnt to let go. Wow.
Well, there are actually countless possibilities as almost anything could happen but I think Minato becoming Hokage was not a good decision. He is too irresponsible to me especially with the way he handled the Kyuubi incident showed how awful of a leader he was. He was/is not leader material. Orochimaru is a better leader and more charismatic than Minato. This is just my opinion as I feel that some events would have been handled better by him than Minato.
