    what lipo and filight times are you getting? how long do you think a 3s 2200mah lipo will get?

    • @mark675
      @mark675  5 лет назад +1

      Im using a 3s 2200 lipo but im also using another as ballast (unplugged) im probably getting- at a guess between 7 and 10 mins but if you connect the other one in parallel with the first you'll get way more, mine fit inside the harness though so maybe with the hk trike you might want to go with a 3s 4500 or 5000 something like that so you have enough weight, have fun :)

    Hi guys, great video. i just bought the same wing two weeks ago but i am really struggling to get it flying. when i start it opens and than turns right. or collapses in the middle. how did you setup the breaklines ? Could really use the help. Thank you!

    • @mark675
      @mark675  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Peter :)
      The first time we set the brakes we just hung the wing upside down holding it by the paramotor unit, attach the brakes to servo arms with a little slack in the line (not too much else it wont steer as you'll just be pulling out the slack and not deforming the wing) although not steering is preferable as you can just land again and re adjust them shorter. Too tight and the wing wont even come up at all.
      We did swing tests on the second one by pulling the wing up as if you are going to launch it but dont let go (make sure you are directly into wind) if it comes up nice then it'll fly, if it collapses or 'hangs back' then the brake lines need lengthening.
      I might make a video about setting up the brakes soon so keep an eye out for it :) good luck👍🏼

      @@mark675 Hi Thanks for your replay. This is very helpfull. I have been trying all kind of different things. I noticed that if i had the brake lines to tight the wing did want to go up. When i losend the bake lines it would come up but than collaps. So there is a kind of sweetspot somewhere in between. I will try again. Thanks for your help. When my wing will fly i will leave a note here.

    • @mark675
      @mark675  5 лет назад

      @@petervandenesschert no worries :)
      Yeah as long as the wing comes up till the wings over the paramotor itll fly, it will always 'front tuck' and collapse if you dont move forward with it as the pivot point (you holding the paramotor) is almost stationary and the wing will just want to rotate around that point :)
      On launch i just pull it up into wind and get on throttle as soon as its coming up gotta be smooth with it though and you shouldnt have a problem :)

    Great video guys...... I gather your from around the West Midlands area ( I recognise that brummy chat ) I'm from South Birmingham near Hollywood.... I've only just learnt to fly electric rc planes and im wondering how much harder it is to fly the HK Paramotor only I really want one lol.... it looks interesting and fun..... how strong is the build..... I understand there is a fair number of metal parts so I guess relatively strongly built incase of a bad landing :)

    can you please tell me what will the flight time on 3S 2200mAh lipo ?
    and i saw your are using spektrum DSM and i have also DSM so can you make a tx setup video for me ?

      @mark675  5 лет назад +1

      Thankyou, Good to see so many are ordering these they look so cool in the air :)
      The strobe is a 'strobon standalone strobe' its the cree version which is about a fiver more than the standard one but the brightness is insane lol
      Theyre really small with a built in battery, charge with a usb lead or phone charger and if you velcro them on you can then swap them between models :)
      Im getting at a guess between 7 and 10 mins on a 2200 3s but i use another 3s as ballast (unplugged) they can carry a 4500-5000mah 3s easily so id go for one of them, if you only have 2200 3s you could run two of them and just join them with a parallel connector for a 3s 4400mah
      Enjoy it :)
