- The HobbyKing Paramotor is extremely easy to fly due to its very gentle and stable flight characteristics yet once you are used to it, it will perform loops and rolls with ease. Due to the design, the huge high-performance 2400mm sail opens quickly for easy launching and it will retain its shape even in turbulence. The single-skin durable sail is made from 100% ripstop fabric and comes pre-rigged with tough polyethylene lines and ready to attach to the durable aluminum gondola. It does require a computer radio with mixing and servo control curves, to see what is involved in the radio set up please watch the attached video and also the one for the setting up of the parafoil itself.

There is a high level of prefabrication so assembly time is minimal and it is Plug-N-Fly so all you require is your own transmitter, receiver, and battery. The Paramotor is fitted with a powerful 3530-1400KV brushless motor swinging a 10 x 4.7 propeller, it also has a 50 amp electronic speed controller with 5 amp BEC and 2 powerful 15kg high torque metal geared servos. A 3S lipo battery is recommended and it can vary in capacity to suit different flying conditions. The recommended flying weight is 1.6~2.0kg, in light of wind conditions it is best to put a lighter battery in to keep near the 1.6kg weight. In windy conditions, it is better to put a heavier battery in to fly around the 2kg mark. The undercarriage is easily removed for hand launching and catching and also for slope soaring.

Great entry level Paramotor and at a great price point. I set up a Hacker rig about 5 years ago and it ran over $500. These are not cheap to purchase at other vendors. Now Please bring back the Aerosport 103!!! Thanks!!

a great offer by HK. Flies well out of the box even for someone like myself with zero RC flying esperience.
However dear HK team, can you please up the price by US$10 and make the bridle with some decent spectra or dynema. The lines you use are way to thick and stretchy and are hampering performance big time!

I think it would be cool if it had a speed bar input as well! Although it would make the risers more complicated. A free flight version would be cool for ridge soaring. :)

Niiiiice. That will give the Plovers at SAAMBR's airfield something else to dive bomb. Dave's glider is looking a bit warn.
I check the motor specs and please correct me if Im wrong, the motor can take 4 cells, my question is the esc is rated for 4cells?

@@mark675 I tend to think so as well. If you used a lighter battery, it might also help offset the weight.
@@flyingphoenix113 yeah exactly :) weve flown these on a single 2200 3s but had another 2200 just as ballast (unplugged) and we still got a decent flight time :)
A gopro should be no problem 👍🏼
It could easily carry that, FPV Gear, or other action cams as well.
You want it to way about 1.7kg so a GoPro will help. The paraglider wing fly's better with 1.5 - 1.9 kg of wing loading

I bought the HobbyKing Cyclops goggles like a month ago and mine came with a big yellow bad pixel line down the middle of the screen. One Year Warranty but I'm not sure if I should send them back, if they will give me the shipping back too, because half the price I paid for them was the effin' shipping. I think I got screwed. Send them back, get half your money back; keep them, live iwth a line down your screen. :-/ Does anyone know if you ask for a refund on a purchase and send it back, do they also refund the shipping you paid them. Otherwise I'll be paying more to ship it to me and me to ship it back to them, then I paid to buy it and ship it to me in the first place.

Have the HobbyKing boffins worked out the wing vs the version I bought a couple of years ago? If so, can I buy just the wing??

yes you can iv just bought just the wing very cheap at £22 GBP not sure what it is in dollars

@@andrewandlee i mate its the new redesigned wing white with two blue's it comes ready to fly out the box it even has the brake lines all ready attached i build my own trikes and im trying to find the best weight trike for this wing before i try a flight the wing is the new 2.4m wing

Someone on here has suggested using a second li-Po as ballast, getting the trike up to around 1.7 kilos?
I also need to activate the brake on the esc as the lines kept getting tangled in the prop each time the MK1 fell over (every time I tried launching it!!!)
