Request for the editors: put in UNIT CONVERTION from min/mile to min/km when Nick talks about running! A small caption would be sufficient. I'm sure the rest of the world would appreciate it! Please like this comment so they can see it!
PLEASEEEE
Yr lazy bro
@@winalldayeveryday really? England? Kkkkkk that’s where you think I’m from? Please have manners, if your mother didn’t give you, somebody else will.
@@winalldayeveryday u are a fucking dumbass
It would be so helpful
These aren’t videos... these are mini movies 🎥🍿! Keep it going.
I was training 2 hours a day for my half marathon. I’m also married, have a kid, and work full-time in law enforcement as well as operate my rental property business part-time. It was killing me.
Even trying to imagine you training 3+ hours a day and running your business is difficult.
Keep up the hard work, but please be sure to make time for those you love.
Why such long sessions for a half?
@@heno86 I was running 50-60 miles a week and doing strength training as well. My goal wasn’t just to complete a half, it was to set a PR, so I had to train a lot.
@@OmahaTonyG right ok, I personally run better on less miles for the half(legs are less beat up) Got a 1:35 on 4 days per week. Gonna just add more speed work to try sub 1:30.. bit no more days and all sessions about 45-60 mins with one long run per week .
Also run a business. Im up at 3:40 everyday. Some days im just so damn run down and flat out tired i just cant train. We need to balance and sometimes its okay to rest and then go hard on the next session.
@@heno86 I was running 6 days a week and felt great even at higher mileage. I completed two half marathons this year and I have already signed up for a full marathon in April. I do enjoy long runs.
Different training for different people.
Dude imagine running early in the morning and a fleet of girls just start following you
😂 the new Forrest Gump
Plus, almost in the same day that he got married hahaha
Breathe: women follow
@CODY MAYES he's there I think he'll get it this time
Boss.
Nick can somebody in the team check what’s your viewers count by country? For us European it’s basically impossible to follow your workout descriptions in miles, I believe adding a small min/km conversion note in the video edit will add so much value for the effort!
I agree he should show a quick conversion on screen for those watching who don’t know miles or pounds. He has great production value and editing on these vids so I imagine it wouldn’t be hard.
If only there was a way you could look it up....
Guys I know you can look it up, but we are comparing thousands of viewers having to stop the video and look it up on Google VS one person in Nick’s team doing it once and editing a small note on the video (RUclips viewers are spoiled!)
I’m here in Canada and it would help drastically
Man thinkin about this in so many videos. Would love this small extra!
"Easy 8:00/mile pace warm up." Dude, I'd be sprinting at that pace lol
Can you talk about what a trainer/training program like this costs? Doesn’t need to be specific to your current coach, but a range would be awesome.
Immediately got happy when I saw the vid
In these tough times, God bless everyone’s family, it would mean the world if you checked out my channel. Thank you!
They make pills for that
Nick is my dopamine lol
Me too!!!
Setting the bar high always.
Stay humble and the results will come as they have been earned!
I am so glad I found this channel a year ago. Changed my life for the better!
Everybody thinks they’re dedicated. But they are not as dedicated as someone who eats plain un-toasted English muffins to fuel their workout
THATS A FACT LOL
Facts lmaooooo
As they say, "a spoonful of PEDs and blood doping helps the muffins go down in the most delightful way."
FACTS
I have schizophrenia and I would like to smoke marijuana. What to do?
Nick will forever be an absolute weapon man. Just look at him. I really can’t wait to see you run that marathon in sub 3. You deserve it. Keep Going One More Bro and thanks for sharing the journey with us
DUDE. GET A FAN FOR YOUR BIKE WORKOUTS. Seriously, you’ll be able to do more power at a lower HR. So a higher physical workload, for a lower physiological workload, thus a better training stimulus. No need to be heat prepping 23 weeks out....I promise Natasha will agree.
But fantastic video once again!!!!!
This series is just full of hardwork and dedication right from the actual training to the content being created. Top-quality all round. Keep inspiring Nick and good luck!
@pennthebaker shut up
Hey nick, you should use strava to share your workouts online with your fans!!
He shares them via here 😉😉
major props goes out to nick... I ran 9 miles today around a 705 mile pace and was absolutely so tired the rest of the day... idk how you are smashing 3 workouts a day
I respect the work you put in all around. The fact you are training hard, sharing your experiences, running your business, and not shoving your products down our throats. You win my sub 👍🏻
Nick, you should really think about covering up your top tube while on your trainer. As a heavy sweater, the salt sitting on your bike can actually cause damage to the frame and/or bolts and cause it to rust pretty quick. They've got some fairly cheap sweat catchers (I use one) that can help that out!
I've been hitting 3+ hour runs on the weekend for my 100 mile ultra run. It's awesome to get the training session in. Its awesome how you're able to get all the workouts in while managing a RUclips channel, your supplement business, your app, family life and everything else you juggle. Really inspiring to see it all and shows that if there's a will, there's a way.
the videos keep getting more and more insane, production quality so good
I have been training for my full ironman, Maryland 2021. Your videos are so inspirational and thank you for sharing your life and the amazing workouts.
Eagleman? I'm sign up also, my first half-ironman
3 different pairs of shoes during that leg workout 😂
I am a Huge Fan of Nick Bare and hope there are some millions like me. You are Inspiring and Motivating so many people like me. Keep up your good work and god bless you.
"I don't have the problem turning it ON, I have the problem turning it OFF" -- Love it
I thought I was gonna hate the only once a week uploads but honestly I fuckin love how they are doing this
These videos are literally one of the main things motivating in my own training. Best part of my day when they pop up
@Top Trending highly helpful comment. I’ll keep that in mind
Nick do a video please explaining how do you fit triathlon workouts with gym training. Good luck!
Nick we would love to have you on the Long Lost Brothers podcast to give us some insights about the writing and philosophy of 25 Hours a Day! We are reviewing the book as our book of the month for November and would love to chat with the man himself if you have the time!
Congratulations on your wedding Ironman 2020! Running long distance needs good mentality, good health, good rest, and good time management, and it's truly amazing watching you share your strengths in this video. Keep up the hard work and don't forget to take care of yourself!
“Keep making deposits into that fitness bank account”
I wanted him to say he’s built different so bad
He's just not refined from an alternate material, unfortunately.
Super-physiological doses of exogenous "chicken, broccoli, and rice" haha
Wondering how Nick just keeps training hard day after day and balances it with his daily routines and schedules and doesn't stress or burnout. Love to see his mindset, dedication and hard work, but he needs to rest and recover. I know everyone's genetics are different, but if I go for a long run or train at the gym, I need at least a day of full rest and good sleep after to recover and be ready to train again.
Nick is on the 💉💉💉
@@randomnameindeed I don’t think so. He has an amazing work ethic and he’s motivated. Good genetic has a huge part in it too.
@@NunoFerreira def on juice.
Best RUclipsr there is, he doesn’t just make motivational, inspiring content, but encourages everyone to push themselves!! Not only that but he makes the best RUclips videos out there, like I’m watching a movie.
Going for an SO contract and my training regime is all over the place, but after watching your Triathlon preps, i feel like i could build off of them! Please post a vid on creating a training regime by yourself !
You’re gonna be in McAllen?? Nice!! Grew up a few minutes from there! Go kill it in the Valley man! Goodluck!
Hey nick, I don't know if you'll see it but you really inspire me to better myself and always GO ONE MORE. You inspired me to start running too and training for a local 10km (which is postponed for covid), today I got my PB at 44:52, thank you very much!
Just stumbled onto this series and it is for sure something to watch and listen to while hitting my biking to start my day. Appreciate all the effort put in to this
2 things i'm extremely happy you're using this time that you didn't use last time:
Chest strap for HR instead of the built in HR monitor on the Garmin
Training your cycling with power on the trainer. Do you use a power meter on your bike outside as well? It would be worth the investment.
Is the garmin chest strap that good? Does it pair with the garmin forerunner series?
@@Fullsendfilosophy yeah they are good, they do different types specific for your type of training. Yeah it will pair with the forerunner :)
@@sambryan2962 Awesome. I think I'll buy one than. My garmin forerunner 235 is supposed to be at my house tommorow. I am excited for that I have a buddy who lives 3 hours from me that wants us to track virtual miles together through strava
U did motivate me for my first Ironman. Doing 2 next year 👌🏽thanks bud 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Love the structure you're bringing to season 2 Nick! Your content team are killing it too! G1M fella!
I love this guy. And have huge respect for what he does. And this is by no means taking anything away from him, but there is no way he is doing all this naturally. The sheer volume of his days would make any natural athlete physically ill. I'm talking from experience of being natural and unnatural. I also understand he is his own brand, so could never come out and say he juices. Please don't misunderstand me though, this guy is a machine, huge respect!
I would like to say I have a healthy obsession with this channel, but I have just watched the last 30 videos in 2 days
Nick... if you read this check my strava. I’ve gone from 3.38 to 2.59 marathon and Ironman Wales. It’s not about going 10/10, it’s about being able to hold 8/10 for 2.59hrs. Big high five from England
Strava = si smith
I can only imagine the endorphin release of a 3 hour workout being so intense it feels like you popped a molly
It honestly is. This past summer I started training for a half Ironman and managed to tear my obliques from overtraining. Went way too hard way too quickly; the endorphin release I had daily was like a drug. Kind of worrying in retrospect how addicted I got to it
@@Luckyj714 hey im new to long distance stuff, I started a month ago running 15 kilometres. How much more do I have to run to get these epic endorphin rushes that everyone is talking about? Is it about the effort or the duration?
@@memelord577 bit of both, obviously longer distances are more challenging but you don’t want to push too early. tbh it took me a year of running before i fell in love with it and started getting runners high.
23 mins and 28 seconds of Nick Bare complimenting himself haha
I'm sweating while watching
You are awesome nick
All the best for ironman 2020
2021
My husband had exactly the same goals! Missed Boston by 11 min. Back in Jan 2020 Houston marathon. Hi! From Humble,TX
I have a DEXA done twice year at Ohio State University each year for last 4 years. I like having this done just as you are doing, have a baseline, train for an event then have it done again.
Nick's work ethic is insane! I wish they had a card on what flavors of endo/ flight/ in-focus combo's that taste great
Videos like this remind me how lucky the world is Nick is channeling this work ethic into good things. If he was this passionate but about robbing banks instead, we'd have a problem on our hands.
I live in McAllen Ima run the marathon just to try to run a couple miles with Nick
I live in Laguna Vista hopefully we can get a training run
Man, I'm from that area too. Wish I would have heard about it sooner.
Ive never seen Nick acknowledge the comments does he read them ?
Anyway a very inspirational guy
He's pretty busy.
I wish you can realise all of these episodes at once they are so good
The production value of this series is next level!
Saw you in Panama City. My wife was doing the Iron Man and finished 15th in her age group. Glad to see you are doing another Iron Man, if they don't cancel it. Was hoping you would do an Xterra Race, always thought you would do great at those.
Okay Nick's work ethic is good and all, but what his cameraman? Dude is pretty much with Nick all of his training days haha
My guy Nick needs to read his texts, theres 433 unread messages 😂
When you’re training that much you don’t have time to look at your phone 😂
I mean if this doesn’t motivate you, nothing willl! Thanks Nick! You have really inspired me to go one more! I’m in Austin too, so I always think if Nick can do 4 workouts a day, I can at least do one!
Invaluable content. These series are going to blow up!!
Personally feel like this season is slightly over produced. Montages are a bit over the top. But the content overall is great!! Will keep tuning in! Keep it up. Go one more!
Hell yeah, we look forward to having you in the RGV! Stop by Suerte in uptown McAllen if you want some pretty good Mexican food and drinks. The one in downtown is pretty awsoeme too, but that's mainly if you're into the clubbing scene.
I remember his IG post about the dexascan....it feels like weeks ago tho
I love the advice you give it helps me with my Traning, I am trying a sub 13 hour Ironman next year and a sub 3.30 hour Marathon. Your advice helps
Holy crap!! I live in McAllen Texas wow I wish you the best of luck!!
Expect the course to be very flat
Good job. Great video. Salutes from Brazil 🇧🇷.
These videos just made a leap in production! Great stuff boys! Keep up the great work!
These videos are fucking amazing, and are always there to reinforce my motivation to train hard every day. Each episode is a mini movie and the effort put into the videos and your training is extremely inspiring. Thanks for the videos. God bless.
13:45 When your masonry supervisor gives you a compliment
Anther great ep! Interested to see how the weight and BF will come down with the ironman prep. Nick, please get a fan or cover the bike 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 all that sweat going on it 😯
22:20 My man is playing with fire! Always great motivational videos. Keep it up Nick.
Shoot! You're coming to McAllen? My neck of the woods. That run is pretty popular every year. Make sure to go try some food while you're here! Keep working hard.
Motivation right there plain and simple
Hey Nick, whats your Zwift? Id like to ride with you one day! You've been a massive inspiration for me, and honestly you are the reason I am training for an Ironman while also going through USAF pilot training. Keep it up brother
See you in McAllen Nick! Me and the boys are stoked to meet you after we run too.
Your coach is a awesome! Shes a legend
What I like about this guy is that he is a true all around athele.
He is strong and muscular but also has a crazy cardio ability.
He is not like those runners who look anorexic or fat bodybuilders who can't climb a flight of stairs.
Great motivation ranger I’m doing Galveston 1/2 Ironman April hopefully see you in McAllen I live in the RGV if you need a poc.
This such a well produced series! Keep up the awesome work
Oh man, I'm excited for that next episode.
You inspired me to start a running challenge and give it all I got!THANK YOU
Hi Nick. Looking for help. I WISH I could run. I used to be able to run, easily. However during my weight loss process, I ran too much and think I put too much stress too quickly on my shins. Now, I can't even walk an upwards hill without my shins burning with pain. Do you have any recommendations of how to go about fixing my major shin splits?
Thanks.
After your bike workout, I was super stressed for you. The music, the timeline, just everything. Man I'm nervous lol
Start putting captions with the metic times and paces. The US are the only peanuts stuck in the past using miles.
Nick, do you have track spikes? If you don’t, maybe you should invest in some and use them when you have some speed work on the track, or fast repeats on the grass.
I haven´t seen bath in fridge for quite some time... Did you stop?
These videos are like a movie. So good.
Frickin love these vlogs, so motivational Nick, keep up the great work 🤘
I’m looking forward to the races. I hope we can see them. 👍
The hybrid Athlete program is solid. I’ve been shaving body fat like crazy and I still got to fix my diet ! Thanks for the solid content and products !
Welcome to the Rgv!! Mcallen marathon run is beast!
Wow , and these videos are free , thank you nick
You are impressive! I really enjoy seeing your training!
People that have physical full time jobs and still find time to train and do triathlons. Much Respect ✊
He owns the company,so he can take time off in his working day to do his training.
Great stuff.... Inspirational.. Plus it looks warm
“ get it in” oh that quote will always make me giggle for some odd reason, maybe because I like taking things the wrong way.
😂lol
I love the video, but I think the color effect is too high.
Tellement inspirant... Force à toi Nick !!
I was a team GB athlete and trained 6 days a week, sometimes twice per day. My CNS was battered and I felt like I had flu some days. The science of training is not to grind yourself so low that you are broken, the training must be quality or not at all. Hence people take things, it's the recovery that steroids etc boost and that means more training. I cannot see how anyone could train 3 hours per day and not be taking something. And as I say that's not coming from someone who hasn't done it.
The missed calls and messages hahahaha
Hey Nick! I’m from McAllen brother. Unfortunatelly the McAllen Marathon is going to be held “virtually”, so it’s not going to be held like we usually do. I am an active participant but I am bummed out that due to Covid restrictions it will not be held as usual. Just wanted to give a heads up on that. Best of luck to you brother!
@Natasha Van Der Merwe No problem! I work for the city and i can provide more information if there’s an email i can send it to.
