For this reason I run toolkits in my assaulter and engineer squads. You can easily get a few hundred points from repairing a friendly tank. Esp if its multiple components and with the indicator I'd just tell the tanker to stay inside and keep shooting while i repair. I do it cuz I hope people would follow suit and make a tankers life better.

Honestly I like the repair mechanic. U have to make a call of holding your ground moving to cover with smoke to fix your tank or just ditching it. I think it also helps slow down un killable grey zone campers

Doesn't have to be ridiculously long like MoW2, but longer than this per component would be nice.
Or, you know, just don't make any changes to the old system. It wasn't broken or anything, so now we just have longer, tedious repair times, why? Cause realism. I'm so tired of people pushing for extreme realism in a game that was Arcady and fast paced from release. Can't we just play, and you know, have fun? Pointless chsnges that just make the game less fun. I have more than 1500 battles played, and really enjoy the game, but I don't like this sudden push for more realism.
true tankers take like 10 minutes to repair things in the Men of war games the new system for Enlisted only takes a minute or less depending on how big the tank is @@101jir

However, in this particular case how fun is it for players that can't get to the spawn because of gray zone camping tanks to actually manage to damage the tank, only to get taken out and the tank repaired almost instantly? Not very. Overall, this approach to repair is pro-fun.

That's a pretty good idea. It would encourage infantry and tanks to stick together like they're supposed to.
That's why my riflemen troops have a repair kit.
