Such a fantastic car for its age and mad to think how far ahead of its time it was with features which are flagship and luxury in today's cars like the automatic cruise control, the assisted parking, head up display, road sign recognition and price... I can only imagine how expensive it seemed back 12 years ago. It's funny when you were talking about the price you then mentioned range and my EV mindset kicked in, only to realise you meant range in price and not range in distance 🤣

We own the 1996 model, as you see as my profile picture, still a great car and even though there's a generation gap, the new A6 doesn't fail to disappoint either, but after all, Audi's have always been doing a great job. Mercedes Benz should learn something!

They were much more subtle in around '95, due to EU regulations the car designers had to meet the new requirements which altered things like bonnet length and the height of the rear stop lights and headlights. But there is a shift towards sleek and mean at the moment. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos, thanks for watching
@KURDISHLION007 Really good strong car, the 1.9tdi used to be one of the best engines in the VAG group. The only let down in the A4 is the rear leg room, it can be quite tight in the back seat behind anyone over 6 foot. Check the specs, get one with some decent options. As a note, the new A4 is being launched next month, I'll be in Lisbon for it. This will mean better deals on the old models so don't be in a hurry to buy.
It was just my dumb attempt at a stereotypical joke. I have an electric car to cover my daily driving needs. I've been considering the A6 as a comfortable cross-country highway cruiser only if I could get the TDI version in the U.S. The A3 TDI is sold here, but I like the A6 better. Diesel mpg is excellent for full size cars.
When you floor the throttle you get your head snapped off lol, yes it pushes you back until you take your foot off. Quattro is different to rear wheel drive, you will get a slide of sorts in a slow corner but because of 4wd it will 4 wheel drift before coming back straight.

BMW is a better choice! the reason is because it has an epic character. sometimes it's heavy, less powerful and more expensive, but in the end, it wins in some ways for drivers
I like some of their new cars like SLK, CLS. Dad recently purchased 2010 B class which has been a dissappointment tbh. Dad had a 190E in the past (1992) although it wasn't a reliable car, still a proper Merc. The thing I don't get is why Mercs don't do galvanised steel and Audi has been for such an expensive brand.
@benny5825 Older Leon's are great, the interior doesn't wear too well though so watch for lots of creaking dash. Go for the 130bhp 1.9Tdi, solid engine but watch for blue smoke if the millage is over 100k. Also prone to blocked pipes that cause water to come into the foot well. Mind you, the Cupra is a cracking drive and getting rare on the road too, expensive to run though.

Why does the exterior design have to keep getting more and more aggressive? Maybe I'm just getting old and stubborn, but i much prefer the '95 - '03ish german audis, bmw's and even mercs. They looked more poised, they had less to prove, in appearance at least. Then again, someone could say exactly the same thing about the 95-03 cars when referring to the 80's models as classics. Nothing wrong with that! I'm not a biased person when it comes to car, it's just that we've had the old Audi since I was 3 years old, so I kinda fell for it. I did go out and see new A6 and XF, Jag may not be to young people's taste but, I surely liked the XF over the new A6, but any how, Lexus.... i like the CT200, much better built than Prius, IS250 over 3 series any day and the new GS is quite good if a bit expensive than rivals. What's your favourite?
the reps at sandvik u kept passing only get 1.6 mondeos lol! bet they were well jell as I am! what a car ive a Passat highline and its ok but id love that audi with all the kit!!!
ive got 2 quick questions when you floor the throttle do you get the sensation of getting pushed back into the seat and whern you are taking slow corners if u floor it will the tail slide it gives a nice feeling doing it with traction control off
You guys should put pressure on for the TDI models to come in but I assume the petrol industry along with your car makers would have a fit? Everyone would go for diesel

Focus is a good car now, it's lost some of what made it great though. The styling and handling aren't as cutting edge as the used to be. Also I'm not too keen on the dash layout, the wings down the middle that control everything are a little fussy for me. Wait for the new Golf 7 and look at that, VW have made my next car with the new Golf

I always kind of like your videos. Looking for advice: I'm planning to buy a 2014 A6 3.0 TDI quattro this month, but, earlier was in love with A4 3.0 Tdi quattro. The dealer wants 3 months to deliver A4 so, now shifting to A6 as it is readily available. Is the shift better? i mean in terms of ground clearance coz of the longer wheelbase of A6? Please do reply fast.

While Lexus has a nice interior, Audi lacks nothing. It's more solid than Lexus and comparing the GS to the A6 range it's not even close with choice of materials. There's much more plastic in the Lexus. Driving sensation is better in the Lexus because of the RWD but I know which one I'd rather be in for the long motorway drive
