I recently found out about that. That would’ve been a travesty. I am always trying to get people on the Big Wreck train. Always saying Ian is the best guitar player you’ve never heard of. They’re all world class musicians, especially Dave, but Ian’s a monster.
@@larsetom1 Soundgarden was a great band, but I enjoy the stuff Ian makes WAY more. That's not to insult SG in any way, shape, or form. I just prefer what he's doing with his guys.
@@Merglet Like I said, it's a fantasy. It is a vanishingly small the number of people who could do justice to Chris Cornell's music, especially as a singer. Ian could pull it off easily. He even sounds like Chris Cornell.
Such a freakin' awesome show! These guys are the best. Thanks for posting James, I think we must have been right behind you...two fools singing along with every song and dancing the whole time! LOL
cant wait till they get back to ontario i want to take my son to see them i had to cancel the last time but i gave the tickets to another father and son to go see them last april
If you can listen to the CBC podcast where they do this song with acoustic (and other songs) and be blown away. This was years and years ago. Some of the best vocals you will ever hear.
Most underrated band ever! Following them since in loving memory!!
That intro soundscape is so massive! LOVE it!
What a performance of one of their best songs!! These guys are the real deal. Great video work too 👍
Would have been criminal if Ian Thornley had joined Velvet Revolver and NOT played guitar. CRIMINAL.

A fantasy? Ian could front Soundgarden, he could sing Chris Cornell's parts both vocal and guitar. He even looks a bit like him.

Yea it was a hell of a show. They sounded great. I was singing right along with you, wish they would’ve played another hour. Would’ve been amazing.
There's a FREE Big Wreck show happening in Peterborough, Ontario on 16 August 2023! I'll be there 100%.
