Well I experienced why... Backstory: Bought it for $600 and spent $200 so far on it for fluids and tow home from where it sat. It was advertised for $900 but doesn't start. Thought it may just be something simple like a sensor or tuneup. However when I got to the guys place to come and check it out, he had accidentally locked keys in the car with no way to get them (only set). So I couldn't try and start it. Told him that I would take my chances and offered him $500 as is but settled at $600. Called my tow truck buddy and get it towed to my place to check it out. Got doors open and tried starting it - didn't sound right. No chug chug noise like normal engines make when they are being spun to start. Compression tested it - basically no compression in any of the cylinders. Thinking it is probably head gasket. Got the top half of the motor apart but it is a pain to get all the way to the heads.
