Into the AM. After retirement from 25 years as an independent used car dealer I love this channel. I respect most that you show us in the light of honest businessmen. Very few used car dealers earn the reputation that the rest of us work under. I never purposely cheated anyone. After so many years of having everyone assume I was a crook I quit selling to the general public and focused on only wholesale between dealers. After honing my buying contacts and abilities I only dealt with 15 to 20 other dealers and some of them only by phone. What a wonderful business it was after I never had to listen to another retail buyer call me a crook after the battery in their car went bad 6 months after they bought it from me and I refused to buy them a new one.

Craig, Great video! I would’ve walked by the Suzuki because they’re no longer imported. I wouldn’t now thanks to you. I paid for college and grad school flipping cars. I really enjoyed it. It was great fun and no college loans to pay off. Does it get any better then that! Into the AM! Peace, DrRick
Into the AM. I have flipped 5 cars over the last year thanks to your channel. Purchased them on Facebook market place, cleaned them up, and re sold for a profit on Facebook market place. Thank you for all your tips.
Never polish without washing off dirt on the car first! Plus, you need to clear out the pad every now and then while working. Could still see the swirls after the polish when you put the car under the sun. The painting had me tense the whole time, but you guys did a great job with the Bentley paint. The into the AM tiny chest logo shirts are cool and cars & bids should be fun.
Suzuki used to co own a production facility here in Ontario Canada with GM. The early model Equinox and Suzuki you have shared a lot of common design elements. Sadly the rust locations were shared as well. One of the things GM did when coming out of bankruptcy protection was to buy out Suzukis 51% of the plant. We used to get incredible Suzuki discounts!
@Craig Old car dealer Trick/ Tip When you Pick the car up at the sale, Flip the driver side floor Matt upside down if it’s carpet That way the mechanics and tire guys , etc boots aren’t making extra stains and work for ya When it’s done and ready for cleanup , wipe the backside of the Matt off and start your detailing process
Craig, Suzuki Grand Vitaras are great cars. I owned 3 of them, none needed any service from new to 100,000 miles. The reason they are so good off road is because they are a true 4 wheel drive, not all wheel drive.
I like the evening releases... feels very east coast, and because you are pretty much the only channel I follow that does evening drops it's extra enjoyable!
Into the AM. Nice job on that 2013 Suzuki Vitara. A hint you might like to try...I have always used tire foam to clean the engine compartment. Spray it on everything and wait a bit then wipe off excess the easy stuff. Stay safe and God Bless.
Good wash, clay, then buff. You want to get all of the dirt as possible not doing so can/will cause swirling on the paint, then after its washed use a good clay bar or MIT to pick up anything that washing couldn't get out, then buff and avoid sunlight as uv rays can cook the compound onto the paint surface
Friend owned a Suzuki Samurai. One year when it snowed heavily and he was driving on the freeway express lanes, he was suddenly spun around looking in the eyes of the bus driver that was following him. Fortunately he was able to get the vehicle the right way round, and soon sold it for a truck. I'd say into the AM, but I am sure nothing they sent you is going to fit me.
Back in the mid 1990's I bought a Suzuki Samurai that I used as a daily driver until around 2008. It was slow and noisy, but it was extremely reliable and got great gas mileage. I would have kept it longer but the body really started to rust out bad. Suzuki used to make engines and transmissions that would last forever.
Im from Vermont our inspection is strict too! But the salt here is wicked it eats cars for breakfast. Love the series makes me want to flip cars part time.

Yes, don’t do it like this guy. Everything you see here is how not to clean or detail a car!! This car might look alright from 50ft away, but up close, it will be terrible. Always wash a car before polishing, and don’t use a rotary!! Also, using a tin of spray paint, to paint parts of the car!! All kinds of wrong going on - watch Ammo NYC if you want to learn how to clean a car.
I would just "wholesale" that Bentley to a retail buyer. With the mileage, year ,condition ,you'll be lucky to see $25K .Especially when you add in the "repair" on both the front bumper cover ,and painting the lower trim in back complete with overspray.
Suzuki only has one rig that you avoid like an STD...the XL-7 that was built by GM Canada. 3.6 liter "Oil clogging/timing chain stretching" special and a transaxle that has an electronic valve body that likes to go bad. Those Grand Vitaras are pretty tough/capable off-road rigs, take care of them and they will last. Suzuki just left the US market. They still are found in many other countries. The Kizashi with the V6, AWD & a stick was a pretty surprisingly fun car. Had they turbo'd it & made an STI-type version, they would've had a winner
Craig, I live in a 43' RV and have a 20' enclosed trailer. I currently have a '13 Lincoln MKZ with the 3.7 V6, AWD, less than 74k miles and EVERY option. I'm in Vegas, so it has zero rust. I'm heading to Mass and should be there at the beginning of May. The car weighs 3900 Lbs, so it's about 100 Lbs over my trailer's weight capacity (7k trailer with a dry weight of 3200). I may pay you a visit and maybe trade for a smaller, lighter, less pretty car I can drive out there and not worry about salt damage.
Craig how do you not have any of your pipe burst from always having pipes exposed I'm from tn and were told you cover our outdoor faucet when it hits 32 and not uncover them until spring??

Into the am. You always buff a clean car. If you really want to go the extra mile, clay bar it after you wash it.

It makes sense to buff before paint work. But you should not armor all tires before painting the silicone will cause solvent pop.
