Yes, sirree, and he made sure everybody saw it. Most people do things like that in a very low profile way for the personal experience of gifting, someone less fortunate, but that’s not how Craig rolls.
No issues with longer as long as things are moving along and it’s not full of recaps or repetitive comments. You sure made that young man’s day! Good on ya!
Don’t misunderstand, it was all for show, it was all four likes, and it was all to generate more money on RUclips, because that’s the only thing Craig cares about, the almighty, dollar.

@@neilgunns8391 I have watched this channel since he had about 135 subscribers. I know who he is. I know how he thinks. I know how disingenuous he is. I know how money hungry he is.
Longer or shorter, it doesn't matter. The videos are almost always great to watch. I always find it interesting to watch the how-to videos. something like restoring the headlight with sandpaper ad then the two different solutions was really insightful. I remember when this channel only had like 30k subscribers. It's amazing how fast it grew.
Thank you for being that stellar young man’s hero for the day! He looked at home in that Hummer. Love the how-to videos, inspiring me to detail my wife’s car.
Gen 1 Vipers (no disrespect Craig) are somewhat museum pieces. They are so raw you really do need to know what you are doing or else death is a real possibility. They are absolute, pure raw power with no nannys to look after you. Maintenance and repair costs if you want to drive it are absolutely insane. Comfort was never a consideration when Dodge designed and built the original Gen 1 Viper. A later Viper is a far nicer car (IMO) and it actually has side windows .... imagine that? 😂
I love the unusual color vipers. I have a gray 2000 with the Connolly leather. As for the headlights it's quicker, easier and lasts longer to sand with 400-600 grit then clearcoat
No issue with longer videos 30-35 minutes. Not a fan of Dodge vehicles, I enjoyed watching the transformation of this car. Can't wait to see more from this car.
One thing with restoring headlights... When you sand and polish them, you're removing the old oxidized protective coating. You need to spray them with clear coat and then wet sand and polish. If you don't, the UV with bake the unprotected plastic and it'll be cloudy again in less than a year. If the goal is to make it good enough to sell, I guess clearing isn't necessary. If you want to do it the right way, and make the headlights last, clear coat them.
Is it possible that Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 has the right sizes? 275/40-17 and 335/35-17 show as OE size for the 95 RT/10 and not cheap, but available.
I think the 20 minute mark is good. I’m gonna be honest, I tend to get bored on longer videos and go trigger happy with the skip 30 seconds ahead!! That viper is looking way better already!!
I enjoy longer videos as long as the content is cool. Love the color on that 95 Viper!! Sadly, it was "shared" across the platforms at Chrysler back then....almost bought a 1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible in that color back in 1998...but the car had too many issues, and bought a different one on the lot. Very cool your son is getting into cars too....of course, wants to be like his Dad.
The Viper is incredible. Simple and mean. However, the "top" looks Iike I made it out of some old vinyl I found in the dumpster with my Mom's sewing machine. You're a good man, Craig, you truly made that kid's day!
Craig, great video. I am so proud of you. I think Ian was very happy to be included and he did a great job. Ian you made me smile, love your sense of humor and Craig did get your “good side”. Great content and great people. Love you, Dad
The thing about long videos: you can play them at 1.25 speed OR fast forward over boring parts or pause and go back. Personally I hate when some youtubers stretch a video "theme" over 10 videos over 10 weeks with a whole bunch of fill to make each video longer.
Thank you! Your content is so interesting, presented in a superb, conversational format, to combine automotive history, with insights on a business model worthy of study by students of the most acclained business schools, but shared with all
I enjoy the format, and a half hour or so flies by, so definitely no complaints from me. I still find it incredible that a major manufacturer brought the original Viper to the market. No nothings, just all car and the driver! How they got it past the corporate lawyers. There's a story!
Craig I have to say ( I know you know much better then me but) I used a Mcguire's headlight restoration kit on my wife's Lincoln and I have to say they came out Awesome and lasted about a year or so give or take...it took me about a hour if I remember correctly and everything I needed came right in the kit...just throwing it out there if you haven't tried....
I like when the videos are around 25 minutes or so. If I'm pressed for time i'll check you out on TikTok to see what's coming up, and if I have time like I do today I just watch two or three videos. Awesome car, and great work so far! My dream car is the blue/white pinstripe 96' Viper GTS. I got to drive one once, and would LOVE to own that car. The Vipers you have stress me out with the whole reaching inside to open the doors.... Random thought and I don't know if it is plausible or not, BUT you "daily drove" the Hummer. Now do it with the green Viper. I've been watching long enough to know you would never do it with your red, but do it with the green for like a week. LOVE the channel.
Best way to preserve paint on your favorite car is not let anything touch it that isn’t absolutely necessary. Blow dry that red Viper with a purpose built car dryer or a shop vac with a reduction nozzle. Get water out of all nooks and crannies, side mirror housings, grille, etc. A good detail spray as a drying agent and a plush microfiber (not Costco yellows) will clean up any stray droplets. Silicone squeegees are okay for lot cars but not something you really care about..
Great video, interesting watching the light work with the sandpaper... I prefer 15 to 20 min videos... then another part 2 of same length... this means I can watch them on a break etc.... Thanks for the content!
DOT dates on tires are 4 digits. It would be on the other side of the one you saw. The first 2 digits are the week of manufacturing (so 01-52), the last 2 digits are the year.
Hey Craig, cool video...I like that Viper, it came out really good so far. I also noticed that Thunderbird you had in your yard, 1997??... my dad had one that he absolutely loved when I was young. He let me take it to my prom. What are your plans for it?? Also, I like your longer videos.

Hey man, I have an 01 GTS. Years ago I threw on some high flow cats and the temps dropped immensely. You can run it for hours and put your hand on it and it’s warm but not burning hot.

i agree with @TheBBodyBuilder something like 30-45min for something special I'm good with keep it up craig
Yea, as long as it's a special car like this one.
Hopefully I'm speaking of everybody. I don't want a 45 minute video about a Tahoe.
I would even take a 45 min video about a Tahoe as long as it would be packed with useful information, which they always are. Keep it up Craig!
