If you do decide to donate it, here's what you can do (and get major brownie points). List it for $3500. If someone comes in and needs a beater and doesn't qualify for financing, GIVE IT TO THEM. I know I know, you'd be flooded with people wanting free cars.
Or, if someone comes in, is hurting for a car, (and you can tell if someone is hurting) and they only have $2200, say listen, it's Christmas, I can tell you need a reliable family car, I'll drop my price to meet your budget. You don't lose, and they get a car.

For an extra 4 minutes I would brush paint the enter of the rusty brake discs while the wheels are off.
This is what we like to see. Working on the cars. The detail and the painting and what not. Especially seeing the cheap beaters. The fun stuff is ok but whatever, not as interesting as seeing you buy beaters and turn them into something.

The tip for the headlight restoration that is often overlooked is putting on a final UV protectant clear coat to prevent it from yellowing again. To paint wheels correctly the tires should really be dismounted. At least he took them off the car this time.

I agree 100%. Best thing to do is take the headlights to a bodyshop and have them clearcoat them.
No one is going to take the time to clean headlight and then take to body shop to clear coat. It is better to suggest the best DIY solution to apply clear coat.

Craig, Great Channel. I had a used car dealership in Michigan for 24 years, I started out selling vehicles for the first 10 years very similar to what you are doing. I then changed things up, brought on a business partner, (just the two of us, no other employees) we started selling Trucks and SUVs only. We bought off lease vehicles only, with remaining bumper to bumper warranties. This was such a huge change, zero stress, happy customers, full factory warranty. we had no clean up, other than a normal car wash, they went from the auction to the front line. We would be closed on auction day; it was not uncommon to get back from the auction with several new customers waiting to see what we had bought that day. our vehicles normally sold in the first day or two. I retied early. moved south to warmer weather, my last day in business was 31 Dec 2019, what a blessing, not knowing that COVID was around the corner. Wish you the best for the next year, think about a change, when you have great vehicles and a great price, people will come from all over to buy.

I know that this is 2 months old now, but since you asked, the video was good. Great information on how you need to trust people to grow. My only compaint is the constant, meaningless text on the bottom. Things like price or vehicle model is great, but the end of random sentences like a hype-man just takes so much from the videos. Keep up the great base content, I'm learning quite a lot just from these.

Last Uber trip to airport was in a Town Car. Maybe you can find someone who wants to start a hired car business.
The Lincoln is my favorite car that has been on this channel so far.
To really top it off, you should tape the contact part of the rotors and paint the centers. Makes it look new and doesn't take long
I would sell the Lincoln town car. It looks too nice to do anything crazy with always good stuff on your channel.
Chevy Equinox and a Trax in the garage right now. Both cars do not have a way of opening the back hatch with a button. The Nox has a power lift so I can use the remote if in park and the Trax is 370z style.
You were kinda all over the place BUT that 370 was tastefully done. I really like it.
Dude get him a sponge it holds water and as you put pressure it will help keep it wet and it follows the contour of the headlight still
That 370Z came out immaculate. Co worker had one from 2015 without the rear wing in automatic & he loves it. Should be an easy sell in spring / summer.
Tint the back windows and get some floor mats and repair the scratch on the side on the Lincoln. Please don't hack it up!!!!
Skip the sanding of headlights, mothers mag and aluminum polish on orbital buffer. Two passes 5 minutes
16:12 not sure if you know this, you can buy sanding sponges/pads in tons of different grits and they're washable. I used to use them all the time when I made furniture as they will follow the contours of the piece. I used to buy up to 600 grit, but you can buy them in bulk from amazon in 800/1000.
I found that using your fingies you have 4 highspots where your fingers are, a sponge eliminates that....
@4:30...Because fuel injection allows for use at all altitudes without re-jetting. It also doesn't flood as easy because there are no floats to get stuck. Just cause your ECU burnt out, doesn't make fuel injection less better than a carb. @26:30... How about an STI or Evo?
Don’t do anything to the Lincoln, either sell it or donate it to someone in need?! Second part is a tough call, a lot of scams, it’s best to get a recommendation from someone you know? There’s plenty of those people who genuinely needs a car around. Don’t post it, you’ll get flooded! Otherwise love your approach to the Ferrari flip! Good lawd man. As a pro detailer I was biting my tongue off watching you on that Z. That aside, the slave cylinder on manual Z(350/370) is the achilles heel- other than that the design is ancient which is why the bluetooth for your phone was nonexistent. Reliable and fun. 🎉The S4 on other hand is a money pit- huge engine issues for those years. The Z is worth more than 15 by far especially since the new Z has not really impressed so the 370s have actually held their value- sooo easy for kids to mod up to 4-450 hp. Freaking love that fat cat Lincoln. Just found your channel- intriguing to say the least. Keep posting and talking out your thoughts- you are easy to watch. 👍
Perhaps you could sell the Lincoln and find out through local schools, families that are in need of groceries, and gifts for the holidays, and give back that way? I know there are many in need right now.

Just a pointer ! One of my favorite car RUclipsrs said in his video " I don't buy these cars to make money or anything like that" . He buys and fixes reconstructed salvage title cars. He said though he buys the cars just to give us content because he also said he was going to buy the car. So I think if you're doing content and you say you're going to buy Ferrari and that's the whole point of everything, and I watched this far for no Ferrari ? Listen I like your channel. I'm actually going to keep watching. I think you're going to blow up. I love the channel. I just think that if you tell people you're going to do something you should do it no matter what even if you lose money because this RUclips channel will make you more money than you lost eventually in a big way. I believe hoobie's garage just said this within his last four videos where he said that he loses a lot of money buying these cars and fixing them and doesn't recommend we do it. It's just all for content and entertainment that he ends up buying these expensive cars and spending more on them than he would have if they had clean titles
the Lincoln is worth leaving stock and selling it. You could use some of the money off of it towards a more practical and affordable pay it forward vehicle to some one who could use one
Craig as for your ADD, you forgot to mention Jesse detailing the car and running the office at the reveal and I thought you had a friend in the Carolinas that was looking for that car.
If you’re interested in giving it away I would consider going to a local church. Tell them when someone can’t start their car and it’s in rough shape the church should give it to the person.
Craig wheels look better but to finish of the car put a nice coat Saturn black on rusty disc centre & calliper after you clean rust & dirt of course & itjust finishes the look of car & looking clean through the wheel. Tried to send you pics of how my look but can't. I do wheel restorations & could give you a few tips. 😊
Craig, contact local charities or one that you feel is one you would like to represent or that might be close to you. Ask them if there is someone who goes above and beyond their role in the charity, perhaps a voluteer and donate it to them, that would be amazing.

Love the Lincoln by the way, reminds me of my Parents, they always had Lincoln Town Cars, From 1975 through the 90's.
Craig try using Googone on the wheel paint. It could be plastidip and googone disolves it way fast. Apply the goo gone dry without water and let it sit for a but then rinse with water!
My 2013 Hyundai Elantra 6speed shows the gear as well. Also tells you when you should up or down shift!

Rather than a sanding block for rounded edges, I've found that wrapping the sandpaper around a kitchen sponge works very well.
My Fiat 500 Abarth has the same issue as the Nissan Z. You can unlock the hatch with the door handle or the key fob, but there's only a single button on the hatch handle to actually unlatch and open the hatch. Then again, the lift supports aren't strong enough to lift the hatch on their own. They're only strong enough to keep the hatch open.

Always loved the Lincoln town cars. My grandpa owned a couple car lots when I was growing up, and he ALWAYS had a town car. The first car phone I ever saw was in a town car armrest, haha. It was the pinnacle of luxury when I was a kid. Would love to have one of my own one day.

Craig, please read this, and I don't want anything!! About the Lincoln. Great car! If you really want to help someone, I suggest selling it, and donating some cash somewhere. I think you will recognize my name, you've responded to my comments a few times. I'm a musician, had money, died, coma, etc. Money went fast. My best friend has lent me his Excursion to drive, I'm blessed. But if you give the Lincoln to a hardship case, they won't be able to keep it up! Gas, etc. If you sell it, and make some loot, to someone who digs it, you could contribute something to a charity of your choice. Plus you won't lose any $$! I really dig your posts, I've learned soooo much! Ha! You asked for ideas about this, and I'm in a position to hip you to what I believe is a good solution. If the atv had a carburetor it would be a all gummed up with the low grade gas people use. But new carb is easier then the ecu.
Man i love that car my q50 had the rev match and my 2011 m37x awd has the rev match and for 15000 you are giving it away

I agree with ur anolgy on self made person. I have a wonderful wife by my side. 36 years ago we had nothing but each other. Today we are very successful. Work with and believe in each other. Its a successful path.
Pretty sure that's a motordyne exhaust and they're bloody expensive and you have to wait a year to get em. Ask me how i know, my Z sounds sweet ;)
Also making sure you know, that has the sport package as those are the sport package wheels, it has the rev match and it has a type of lsd in it. If you sell it, sell it premium because of it.
Only way to open the boot is the button on the back. Thing is, they're heavy boots and so people put dimes i think on the springs so it opens better lol.

I think a good car would be any audi S…an S8 or S6 or cheaper S4 but newer 2013+ i think that would be a beast in the snow and an S8 would be super quick!

Carbureted fueling systems are actually more of a pain in the ass than fuel injected Craig. ECUs on the other hand can be a lot more affordable than finding a mechanic who still works on carbs...trick is to get something like a speeduino which is under $200(cheaper than stock) and universal.
That was a fun car series. Love the 370Z.
Did you really leave the brake rotors rusty?? Come- on Craig! After all of the other excellent freshening up, you can’t leave them like that. They stick right out. Otherwise, the car came out fantastic. Nice work.
You can't fully disable the vdc or traction on that car without pulling the abs fuse. It's always partially on.

Just my opinion, but the body kit with decreased front end clearance would be a deal breaker for me. There’s probably someone else out there that will love it.
I would leave Town Car as-is.
