In many (most) of these "Ferrari Flip" videos, Craig picks the vehicle after the fact, buys 3-4 auction cars, then afterwards picks which one will be the "Ferrari Flip". But Craig videos are always very interesting, to watch.

5:25 that's not how it works in Canada. If you buy a piece of equipment it's called a Capital Cost Allowance and you can only write off 20% of the depreciating value of the vehicle per year for 5 years. This is because it has inherent value to the company as an asset. Now if you lease a vehicle, you can write off 100% of the lease payment as long as you're paying the lease. That's why many companies will lease machinery like a CNC machine, table saw, Forklift instead of buying it outright. What we can immediately deduct or "write off" is consummable costs like electricity, rent, garbage bags, wood (if you make things out of it and then sell), etc etc etc. When I had a boat charter business I even wrote off cable costs so I could get the weather network for weather forecasts. I even wrote off baseball hats, and towels.

I have been in a couple truck accidents and learned something. I was quoted a ton of money to repair a truck bed from insurance but was able to work a deal and handle it myself. The trick is especially with a full-size truck like that is to find a company that takes a truck like that and takes or the bed and installs a utility bed. They will gladly sell you a new bed at a fraction or what it would cost to get yours repaired. “My tip of the day”
It’s been a great series you’re the first RUclipsr I started following to a point of looking forward to the next video. 60k is impressive to say least, an I think going further the more higher end crème puffs are in store. Granted both would more than likely have to be the modern version, but still I don’t think anyone would complain that we have one come through.

@@gioi91 I don't disagree entirely. I got licensed in 2015 but lost the lease from building damages from hurricane in 2018. It's easy to get into it's hard to snowball it to "sucess" . Thats why i was curious on his personal time frame. For me its because its tough combing auction to find only a handful of mechanically good cars a month. The price it always sells at auction like you say is private party value because generally the mechanical condition is unknown so you pay the absolute most you can to win the car then gamble on cost of parts in repairs. And you have to have mechanic on payroll or do it yourself. You'd never make enough money paying a shop to repair the cars. I'm trying to wait for some stabilization in the market to go back full time but idk when that'll be. Best of luck, it is indeed a tough market now
Either you can find one of those, stores/ shop. That does, rear truck bed. To like weld type rear end bed with no lift gate, etc. Anyway, most time they well sale an entire rear truck bed. I mean, that my view here in Central tx. Lots of shops of highway 35. That sell stock rear truck beds. Sometimes, w/ without the tailgate. And that cost a grip as well. I have almost the same exact truck as in the video, but mine is a 2020 z71 long bed LTZ with all the options except for sun roof (I hate them) and 5th wheel pucks. High country trucks have color matched bumpers and 20" wheels with sharp angles on them. I was going to buy a HC, but only the LTZ was available in long bed and white during covid. Luckily it is what I really wanted as I hated the HC wheels and color matched bumpers and trim and I like the z71 logo and package with the floor mats, bed liner, and am not much of a fan of the HC logos. Z71 wheels are 20" but with large smooth spokes. LT and LTZ wheels are 18 aluminum with sharp angles (I also hate the look). WT or work truck model wheels are 17" steel wheels painted gray.....even on the dually trucks, at least in 2019. The stars aligned when I went to go buy that truck since it was setup the way I wanted and there were only 3 available within 500 miles of me in SoCal. June 1st of 2020, the LTZ Z71 fully loaded and the High Country were both listed at $74k and were within a hundred dollars of each other. I paid $68k with rebate and a better deal from my neighbor who works at a dealership. This year, people have paid $81k or more and then still have tax, license, etc. After saving money for a few years and with working a high paying out of town job all of 2020, I was going to pay cash for my truck, but I ended up paying it off after 15 months (wanted to see what happened with work and the economy) and I added the highest level extended warranty, and ended up under $80k after interest, tax, fees, CA registration, etc. The stars aligned for me to find a truck I like so much and to have taken the plunge before prices got even more insane. It is quite an upgrade from my 79 C20 Chevy that I have driven for 25 years, but I still drive the 79 occasionally.
I don't know about selling to Carvana but I would never buy from them. Had their license suspended in some states, withheld titles from cars that have been paid in full, sold cars without disclosing all damage. It's all done online so you don't even test drive it in most cases.

I tried to search in your all series and couldn't find a video that addresses this issue. This issue is about to end my Car dealership dream.
Thank you for the great work, I learned alot from you!
No Test drives without pre-approval of financing or cash in hand. screen the callers with appropriate questions over the phone prior to setting up a visit.
@@FlyingWheels Thank you very much Craig, I followed your advice in a car I sold yeterday and it worked!
Among 4 interested people, only one showed up with REAL cash (two of them said "I will withdraw the cash after test drive" and one said "I dont have the cash today" )
The man with cash tested drive and I gave him a $200 discount for being a straight forward.
I really appreciate your help with this and can't thank you enough!
How come this shows as unlisted?
Goes live officially at 9:15 est
Is it legal to drive while using a cell phone where you live?
You probably made the damage worse with that hook. People that are good at that have an innate ability to step by step unbend those panels. It's better to push than pull if you can.
Yes a good PDR guy could have worked miracles with that, but it will cost you, and he was just wholesaling it, so it’s not too bad…
@@NewEdgeDesigns But I'm sure the next guy is going to shake his head and say something like a former co-worker of mine used to say. "I can tell someone's had their d1ckbeaters in here".
@@mitchstaff8281 lol🧐
There's not APDR guy in the world that could have straightened that crap out get real just fix the bedside
@@mitchstaff8281 Some d1ck beaters are handier than others..🤣🤣
If you just showed me pictures of the frame, I would guess that truck was at least 7 years old with over 100k miles. Someone didn’t opt for the undercoating.
Someone didn’t opt for the undercoating.....ya :/
Hey there....try to make it again like buying 5 cheap car and flip it using the Ferrari money
Excellent and congratulations.
I love the channel. If I had to critique it, I’m not a fan of the house rebuild
Thats a good looking 2500!
It’s hard to start a dealer where I live they want so much money to start one. And in my state you can only flip 5 cars a year.
You forgot to include american ninja warrior in your list of hobbies/jobs.
Craig, you really need to level down the intro music on your future videos
Congratulations on the truck profit!!!! Keep making videos, because we enjoy watching and learning!!!!
I'd Love a vehicle like this But our roads in England are so small.

Love the 6 packs of soda part lol
Keep it up Craig 💪
I have a question where's Germon the guy with the magic hands???
Don’t listen to tax advice from a car salesman. This isn’t how tax deductions work in the USA
