On the subject of the 2020 interview that derailed Alison a bit, there is quite a lot of well-deserved pushback directed at those who criticized Alison. And by the way, I've watched some of the NYT Cooking videos of other "ethnic" cooks (an obvious overcompensation) and they are awful.
