Makes me want to get another bike again. Did all these tracks on the KLR 250 me and Gary T had back in the 80s. Some of the best times I’ve had.
Definitely some “Mint” riding in that area . 👌
Great content Geoff, I have never been down that way looks great.
Thanks Pete, its a great part of Tassie to explore
Stunning, if you live in Tassie and you've not been to cockle creek then do yourself a favor. Yeh totally enjoyed your video mate you do a great job and the ride? awesome day and great giggles.
Glad you enjoyed it
Being a southerner, this is one of just a few of your videos that I actually recognize where you're riding😂 Just did the Southport Lagoon Track a few weeks ago. Great video 👍
Thanks for watching, it's a great part of Tassie to explore.
nice , never been down there myself 🤔👍
keep well mate 😉🍺
Thanks, will do!
Hi Geoff,
another entertaining video mate. I like your touch with the intro of Damian’s “Ultimate Cape Escape” Icon, very nice.👌
Isn’t those byroads down south towards Cockle Creek great to explore?
The funny thing is my Tasmanian-born wife hasn’t been to some of these places either.🙄
Stay Safe.
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you found it entertaining. So much still to explore.
@@tassieadventurerider4815 yes there is plenty of fantastic roads out through there.
Your videos are captivating; your adventures are amazing! 🏍 How do you deal with fatigue during your epic rides and stay fit? A video about this would be fantastic!
Thanks for watching my channel. keeping fit and frequent riding is the key to managing fatigue. On my longer trips like my next series of videos which I'm about to film from Cairns to Cape York, i carry a 3lt hydration pack full of water and hydrolytes. Ill mention and show you what i use in my next video after i return and finish editing (early October on this channel.) Ill be posting on the Facebook and Instagram as i ride. Cheers.
@@tassieadventurerider4815 thank you!
Hey how did you go from New Norfolk to Geeveston without travelling through Hobart? Jeffrey’s Track?
Long time follower :-)
Geoff in Kingston
So firstly we turned off to Lowitta just outside of New Norfolk and entered the dirt there and around mount Loyd and through the back of Mt Wellington and on to Judbury and onto Lonnavale and then to Geevston and in fact it's actually quicker that way than the highway
Thanks for following my journeys, if you turn off at Karanja onto the Stix Road, that will take you around the back of the mountain (Good dirt road) arriving at Judbry in around 40 minutes then about 30 min to Geeveston
