    Thank you for making this video. I went out and bought this same trimmer at HF and it works great! This trimmer is very powerful and, being corded, the power remains consistent and this thing is a beast, as you said. This is also very ergonomically designed compared to the previous two trimmers I owned.

    Thanks for the video! Just found one of these at a local Habitat for Humanity Supply store for $15. This is a great intro!

    I double my line. Therefore, I'll have 4 lines coming out. Which makes my line cut faster and last longer

      interesting method, I need to try that, this trimmer needs a thicker line, it breaks off too easy, thanks for the idea and thanks for subscribing!

      very well, I use it a lot and it is now my main corded trimmer, no issues with it -lots of power, so much that you need to use a better line with it - I use www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9RJW9GX square line with a helical twist, very rugged, stands up to a fence very well, see video for details - ruclips.net/video/XgpDyVAxzg8/видео.html - great trimer, works great every time I use it, good autofeed design, just a good overall design and no issues - thanks for subscribing!

      This linked to 095 not 065. The manual indicates to use 065. Does it matter?

    I'm having trouble finding a replacement spool cap. Harbor Freight customer service says black&decker rc100p is the replacement cap. Ordered it on line and it don't fit.

      @snapwholeharborfreightreviews  Год назад +1

      very strange, when I saw the spool cap, I thought it looked like the black and decker and was going to try my old one on it, also surprised HF would tell you that and it not fit - but if HF does not sell one, I'm not sure where to get one, which is really bad, how long have you had it and how did it break? others will be interested in your experience - thanks for subscribing!

    Can you make a video on how to remove the guard. No, I don't want to use it without the guard. Mine stopped working and I want to return it, but I'd like to clean it up and put it back in the box. I'm afraid I'm going to break the hooks that hook it in place?

    • @snapwholeharborfreightreviews
      @snapwholeharborfreightreviews  Год назад

      there is on screw holding on the guard and then it snaps out of the clips - I have a bunch of equipment on the bench and need to finish that filming first, so it would be a few days - thanks for subscribing!

      @@snapwholeharborfreightreviews Thanks for the response. I removed the screw, but the guard doesn't just pull off...I'm sure it's simple and I just can't figure it out. I'm able to get one side to almost come lose, but that's it.

      ruclips.net/video/sGPtm_PuyvE/видео.html this is for the 20v single line, ruclips.net/video/mBtFXqEmEaE/видео.html this is for the portland double line, the portland how to video will be the exact same process, the 20v single line talks a little bit more about keeping the spool from unwinding - common questions, so I made a video - thanks for subscribing!
