Well syll'eske doesn't help anyone else but daemonettes and even with +1 to wound from the masque, the keeper still has a very limited output compared to other choices for 290 points...
New to the game and I’m getting ready for Emperors Children, it’s sad to see Slaanesh demons are in such a sorry state. It looks like learning the game will be an uphill battle for me lol
Finally someone who recognizes hellflayers! I play a pure slaanesh daemons list and they are my only real damagedealers (apart from shalaxi). I don‘t understand why they get the mortal wounds every fightphase and not only on the charge, thats how i think a chariot should work, but i‘m not complaining

@@BarnyardWargamingOfficial One thing to watch out for on Hellflayers is they have a typo on their datasheet STILL. They're the only unit with Slashing Claws that doesn't have AP on them. It can trip you up if you're used to running other chariots and Slaanesh things
On the infernal enraptures, you said no rerolls, but that's not right. The daemonettes give hit rerolls of 1 and full hit rerolls on an objective, ranged and melee. If you shoot the target with a skull cannon first you can use draught of terror. So you end up full rerolls of hits and wounds against a target on an objective. So that's 1 shot hitting on 3 rerolling, then strength 12 rerolling wounds, ap4 d6+1 damage.
Very true! But that is a lot of things to line up for almost no damage. Reroll all hits only works if the enemy is on an objective. Then would you really drapht of terror for a whole cp for this one shot? I suppose if you had a lot of shooting maybe. But that would also bank on the enemy failing a battleshock test from the cannon... It's just a lot of hoops to dive through for a single shot that you could roll 2 DMG for.
As you said Hellbane is great as long as you're not going to tournaments....which I'm not. I get this is a "high end competitive" tier list but...she's been worth her points cost in every single game I've run her in, though I wouldn't object to her losing like 150 points. Same with the generic Keeper, generally find them worthwhile to take but then this is *your* tier list for high end competitive play and *your* local meta.
Exactly! Very well said. I totally agree! Sadly at high end games people just crap all over a big monster like shalaxi. Too many lethals or plus one to wound etc.
@@BarnyardWargamingOfficial Yeah with Chaos Monster Mash the fact that only the KoS and the GUO get Feel no Pain rolls. Tougness 10 is really kinda awkward, there's plenty of stuff that can get 3+ to wound on T10. If they're Orks have Mozrog, he's a murder machine for any of the Greater Daemons, I've seen him chew through even a GUO in a single turn.

Honestly for her price I would expect her to pick an enemy unit anywhere on the board and give +1 to wound for all slaanesh against it, not within 6". Either that or make her like 60 points.

With the relic she isn't so bad... But really really overcosted for what she does. I mean compare the KoS to Rotigus. He does more damage in melee. Has better buffs. More wounds. Higher toughness. Decent flamer and he is 60 points cheaper from her base cost before even taking a relic!
Not sure if this was before the balance update but D tier keeper is criminal. She is A, literally the only durable daemon in the index

I am not sure Fiends are D Tier… they are pretty fast and are beasts, so can go through ruins… mines have not been stars, but not that bad either.
When compared to all the other units though? I'm not so sure they're the worst unit in the whole game! But they certainly need improvements!
