19:41 A few years ago, I had a lot of fun with filling a Raider with a unit of Fire Dragons and a Haemonculus w/ Webway Portal and dropping that sucker in half range of whatever I wanted dead.
Made the decision to start out with 40K after almost 20 years being away to start collecting Aeldari. My memory of them being those big scary red unique looking army when compared to the space marines (my brother) and orks (my dad) from the old 2nd edition box :) honestly going to be playing casually as not only am I only starting with the combat patrol, yet I'm curious about things like drukhari can get involved in lists thanks essentially to where the story has been going. Beside all that though, got to start building and painting!
Thank you so much man, I just now picked up a bulk of Aeldari from my LGS and got thrashed by my buddy playing T-Sons - this video showed me exactly why (three units dead by turn 1 - ouch!). Consider me hooked on your advice and content!

Great video. This was a really good reminder of the overall picture. It’s so easy some times to fall down the rabbit hole of focusing on synergies between individual units at the expense of the bigger picture as a whole. 🤘👍
God I have been playing with eldar since 8th ed and really struggled with them but this video really, really helps! Thanks man, keep up the Amazing work!
31:56 I miss back in the day when power weapons negated all saves, and you could crack open a Land Raider with a Bright Lance then dump a unit of Banshees w/ Jain into a unit of terminators and wipe them off the board in one Assault.
Hi, good video. I'd say Storm Guardians have utility function due to sticky. Grab objective in the open and force the enemy's hand to expose their units in taking it. Then killing them for the effort. The opponent will always underestimate them too. Two flamers and two fusions.
Hello! Thanks for the great content! I find it super informative and helpful even as a Custodes player looking to understand multiple different rules of engagement 😁
Apropos of nothing but... Long time viewer Brent, and when you were discussing detachment rules I suddenly realized why the Wave Serpent twin-lance isn't nonsense; There may be a point in the distant future where we don't have Battle Host rerolls from a different detachment, in which case, twin linked may be pretty clutch
@@Tearen0 hold up, doesn't twin-linked grant re-rolls to wound? So with the detachment bonus you get full re-rolls to hit AND wound on a serpent. Have I got that wrong?
“You have, at some point unironically popped your collar” “You have attended more than one poetry reading” "You have big feelings and high standards” Excuse me, I would like to report an assault.
It’s really nice to hear that the autrach and wraith are much more useful now days they lacked more of a distinction between 3rd and 4th I feel, unfortunate for Asurmen and dire avengers, I loved popping a couple of squads in a tank and popping from behind serpents to lay in mass fire. Everything was pretty much dead and I could manage a couple rounds.
As always, thanks for doing these videos. Got a question for you though. I face alot of elite/heavy infantry focused lists, Scarab Terms from Thousand Sons, Grey Knight Terms, Admech kataphrons (both flavors), and Tau battlesuits. What would be your recommendation facing such forces?
Lots of AP-4, flat 3 damage, and possibly 1 or more Vypers to strip cover. DCannons for sure, not Prisms. Avatar of Khaine for sure, Dragons im a Falcon with Feugan are good, 1 spinner for movement control. If you are still having problems, send me an email- I have been thinking a lot about the 2+ infantry meta
Hi, I've just recently been adviced to come here and I have to admit that it was a great thing !!! I am a casual and relatively new player (started buying with V7, and playing with V9) and my only "opponent friend" is a Space Marine player ...and I am desperately looking for tips to survive against his death angels (Space Wolves at the beginning and now Darl Angels )😜! And your videos are really really useful and helpful !!! Many thanks ,i hope that on our next battle,I will be more efficient and accurate thanks to you! PS I may have one regret...I think you mentionned in this videos that bright lance may not be really efficient against Termi ...so I was waiting for the right tool to fight Termi or Dark Angels Knight...but it didn't came out 😊.
@@karezeg I am so glad you are finding it useful! If you want to kill terminators, use Fire Dragons, the Avatar of Khaine, Shadow Spectres, Warp Spiders, massed shuriken cannon fire from bikes, with "reveal", and the grenade strategem. Yvraine is also good at it, as is Karandras
In Resume: ( As far as I understand XD) - Specialist tool army 🪖, bring varied tools for the right counter against your enemy's (just listen to your Faarseer 😂), bring unit that can score secondarys - Being the fastest is important, kill units that are faster o that are able to make you slower as early as posible (Tyranids with the capacity to slow units must be annoying ASF) - Kill priority targets as fast a you can early, damage dealers or important for the rival army gameplay (ummm cripple the Astra Militarum Artillery or Tanks?) - Have Bully units to wrestle for the middle ground in later turns. - Be as annoying as possible with your mobility 😂😂😂 If forgot something please tell me.
Love this video. I love the channel. I would like to pose a question. My friend plays Grey Knights, and I haven't had to play against him yet. Grey Knights have great maneuverability with the ability to teleport 3 units at the end of the opponents movement phase(from what I understand) and deepstrike certain units within 3 inches instead of 9 inches. It's definitely hard to create a strategy to counter this, and I would be curious what your thoughts are. Again, I love the channel, and thank you for all the hard work you put into these videos!
Always great to see a new video from you, and I'm really enjoying these long form videos where you examine more complex topics. I was wondering, do you think it could be worth it to play a wraithlord/wraithseer accompanied by a spiritseer? It would fix the 4+BS, and lethal hits is always nice, but I'm not sure it's a great use for those points (and the spiritseer's resurrection ability won't come into play this way). (is this mostly just me wanting to fit a wraithlord in my list anyway? Absolutely. But it could still be something, maybe?)
It's WILDLY not worth it. You could just take a unit with similar damage output that already has a 3+ to hit for the same points or less and not need an expensive character attached. I have never seen a single Wraithlord in a list that made it to the last 8 of a 10th edition GT
This is a really useful video and good for trying stuff that isn't exactly meta but what I have in my collection. Two questions though. My question is though on how to support the big bully units besides the farseer to provide OC? Also can Bernard and the local kneck beard be recurring characters in your future videos?
I want to expand my collection so much but I unfortunately live in a country where the support for warhammer is still pretty low (there's plenty in the capital but out where we are there's a single LGS for our community of 30 or so players and they take months to accomplish orders) so I really appreciate the help in maximizing what little I get access to
Oh wow, yeah that is hard. Where are you if you don't mind my asking? One solution might be to try and create a local club where people all pitch in for the cost of terrain, etc. or charge a low monthly membership fee to support expanding their terrain options, etc. This sort of solution is popular in remote villages in the UK
The Philippines; there's been a WH scene since I think a decade and a half but up until 2023 there was a sort of monopoly on distribution by the guys who got a hold of the license so if you weren't in the capital it was practically impossible to get kits. The supply lines are getting better now under the new licensed distributors, but the selection remains really small and it's hard to find things like fire dragons and fire prisms. Out of the index units, I think there's like 12 kits you can get where we are, and a lot of what you mentioned in this video like the wayleaper, warp spiders, night spinners, pretty much any vehicle that isn't a wave serpent, and any hard target elimination other than wraithguard and war walkers are unavailable. Our LGS does actually share stuff and it's very active, we're just a little hampered by kit availability and also a little bit by the cost and distribution. I put in an order for my spiritseers last year and they're yet to arrive, for instance.@@WBConcilio
We can actually order off of international online chains, I just personally haven't done it because the shipping to here is significantly higher than the cost of the kits and I'm not quite able to shoulder that currently. I'm hoping the new distributor expands the selection of available kits, and I'm trying to make do with what we have currently here while waiting. There's also a fairly active second-hand market from the people in the capital, but aeldari's a bit uncommon there. Haven't seen any since I managed to snag a second-hand Yncarne last year. Maybe by the end of the year if the selection doesn't expand I might try through online merchant like eBay, which will be pricey, so I'm really thankful for this video narrowing down what I should look for when upgrading. I'm running a mostly bikes list at the moment since that's what's available here readily and the combat patrol starts with 6 of em, and I'm starting to run into a brick wall when it comes to actually killing stuff, so I think I'll try and pick up either walkers or wraithguards on your recommendation. EDIT: This actually got me to start looking into eBay and a couple of friends of mine who have tried the platform in the past said it's not as bad as I have been led to believe cost-wise. Time to look into picking some nice, nice elves up... @@WBConcilio
Noob here. Great video. I keep hearing "screening" in strategy videos related to rangers and shroud runners. Could you explain what this means and how it works?
You can “screen out” deep strikes and infiltrators from certain areas of the board since those models must be placed 9” away from enemy (your) models. You can also screen for charges by simply putting cheap models in front of your expensive ones, just be sure they cannot consolidate 3 inches into whatever you were trying to protect.
How do most people play: can I use Fate dice for a reroll? For example, I fail my initial wound roll, and I want to guarantee it on the reroll so I use a fake dice 5.
Although GW has not officially ruled on this, major events- I think LVO included- have judged that a reroll IS a roll, and that therefore yes you can. In 9th edition, rerolls were not treated as rolls, but the language changed to suggest that they are
Great video as ever. Really enjoyed watching. Question on the point about having tools to deal with heavy infantry. Which is the most cost effective/competitive way of removing heavy infantry like terminators etc. From my mind, a ball of 9 windriders with shuriken cannons would be the best, but I don't see very many competitive lists using these though. Is the trick to just whittle them down and avoid, only to deal with them at the end or is there another unit that suits this better?
I have actually been messing around with that build. You need both a Farseer Skyrunner to grant rerolls and a Warlock to ignore cover. Expect to spend 2CP a turn on F&F. It's good, but 2+s still save on 3s which is not awesome. Your other option is to use Vypers to strip cover and lean into AP-4. DCannons are great as are Fusion guns- don't forget the grenade strat. The Avatar does work as can the Yncarne if you are careful with it. I have been considering also experimenting with a Lynx, but I am super not sold on that. If you email me, I have one more wacky suggestion
Hi AP and lots of attacks against single wound infantry in cover- wipes the squad before reanimation protocols kick in- efficiently pointed as a trading unit into Necrons
Great video! I'm a Drukhari player looking to learn Aeldari and this video was super helpful. Although, do you have any advice on how to build a Biel Tan themed list? I would like the run more aspect warriors but it seems like they are more situational than some of the other units.
Thank you for the great advice. We’re having a “friendly” tournament at our local club this weekend, I’m feeling pretty good about scoring secondaries - but there’s a chaos knights player that has been stomping everyone in the practice games, how do we deal with that many guns and that many wounds?!
You need to be able to pick up a knight per turn. A pair of Fire Prisms, DCannons, the Avatar of Khaine, and a Falcon full of Dragons and Fuegan are all good. Be sure to use Fire and Fade and stay out of line of sight until you are ready to make a play
I went with a full wraith themed army so even though you specifically said not too I ended up with three wraithlords and because of points a hemlock wraith fighter haha. It’s my first time making an army so I’m not sure how good my list is.
He is ESSENTIAL. He can only be killed by models with PRECISION. If you are concerned, give him the Phoenix Gem and prioritize destroying your opponent's models with precision
@@WBConcilioevery body plays space marines and has snipers or missile boys running indirect, precision, and lone operative so killing them before round 3 is nigh impossible
Good overview video, thank you. I've been away from 40K due to RL issues but getting back into it now. Catching up since the last dataslate. In smaller casual games of 1k, would it be plausible to have a mid-board-bully consisting of 5 Wraithguard with Spiritseer (PhxGem) and 3 War Walkers with a Bonesinger? My only other units are Illic with 10 Rangers and 2 units of 3 Shroud Runners which are home point campers and flank harassers respectively. Not sure if there's enough versatility to do well at scoring though.
@@WBConcilio Nah, its ok. Still haven't gotten around to playing a game of 10th ed yet. Maybe when the codex drops I might be more inspired. My curiosity was on the viability of using a Bonesinger as support for 3 War Walkers while 'hiding' within 3" of a Wraithguard unit with Spiritseer (all bullying the centre).
Do you think >1 guardian might have a role in helping to screen out the backfield from the increasing number of 3" deep strikes that seem to be popping up? Would then allow the rest of the army to get on with things without worrying that something really nasty can get in behind them. A lone operative would also be really vulnerable to that kind of attack, I predict.
I'll take lots away from this video, I am only three games into the path of the leader. It would be cool to see a short video on advice for different heavy weapons against different armies - all bright lances has felt a bit mean for casual games of 10th edition so far for me. If you set a house rule for 'no double bright lances' what would the other one be on a War Walker for instance. Can D-Scythes do the job for Wraithguard?
The Star Cannon is a solid second pick. DScythes are not bad at all and have the advantage of wiping up 1 wound infantry- the greatest limitation is the range
I feel like I'm the only person who played elder that has thought of backing up min squad of melee units with dire avengers and putting both squads into a wave serpent. Does this not sound like a good tool kit esque strategy? If not I'd love to know why.
I'm currently building a fluffy Saim Hann list with lots of jetbikes, vypers, grav tanks etc. Would be awesome to hear your take on how to run this kind of list? Not much out there currently (even less with 10th ed specifics).
For someone considering starting this faction, this was absolutely great! How would you feel about eunning both the avatar and a bit unit of wraithblades/wraithguards? It is a lot of points, but I really like both units and would love to run them both. Any way to make it work, and how would you build the list around it? Also, if I want to avoid the non-updated aspects, what units wpuld you use for secondaries?
You can definitely run both the Avatar and a large Wraith unit effectively, although they will compete with one another for resources, most notably FORTUNE. If you are going to run this combo, you can have the Avatar make an advance move turn 1 using a Fate die and a nearby Farseer to move max distance and the ALSO Fire and Fade to get the god of war over 20" on turn 1. Put Fortune on it. On your opponent's turn, use a Date die of a 6 to auto-hit with overwatch using the wailing doom to trigger Sustained Hits. (Also, consider watching my video on the Avatar.) Advance the Wraithblades to screen and dominate midfield objectives- support with Powerful long range shooting. As for scoring units, you can do okay with MSU Shiriken Cannon Windriders and Harlequins Skyweavers. Shadow Runners also work because of the pregame move
This is great and certainly giving me the ideas to try new things. I know some our best stuff is in resin/finecast still, do you think we have redundant models in plastic?
@@WBConcilio I'm recovering from being sick so I probably didn't ask this great to begin with. I'm curious to know what other models we have that could fill in for our resin/finecast (swooping hawks, fire dragons) models as those are harder to find for newer players. Like could dark reapers be an okay follow up for shadow spectres?
@@derricksmith8354 ohhh. Okay, no Reapers don't play like spectors. Honestly, most of the best units are available in plastic. The only exception is fast scoring units, and in a pinch you could use Skyweavers or Vypers
Quick question, in you talk about running a farseer and an avatar to that the avatar gets fortune, but do you run the farseer with the line unit or just make sure they're well hidden?
Played this against my Templar buddy the first time recently, it is brutal when played right. So much weight of fire with Bladestorm means they punch waaay above their weight.
Any ideas on a small homebrew change i can make to my shining spears to make them viable? Theyre the unit that got me to not only start eldar but 40k in general last year, id love for them to not suck lol. But im not really sure what they actually need
Most players won't agree to home brew changes, but if you increase the AP of all their melee weapons by 1 and reduce their cost by 10, they would have a job they could actually do reliably
If you are planning to use Guardian Defenders to screen your whole army, then yes, you would need more than one. It is also true that in the first year of 10th edition with over 200 Aeldari lists finishing in the top three of GTs, not one of those lists has had more than one unit of Guardian Defenders and even one unit is quite rare. I think the reason is that there are so many units that can do the same job much more efficiently, like indirect fire units and lone operatives.
Hi Brent! I appreciate your videos a lot - I am returning after a 10 year break Context: I have a mech-dar list from ~2013, 3 wave serpents, 2 fire prisms and a falcon w/ lots of Dire Avengers/Striking Scorpions. Question: Assuming I make an investment in the midfield use-case w/ an Avatar or wraith guard, would dire avengers inside of wave serpents mimic that 'fast attack' force you had been describing around ~18 minutes? Goal: I want to get onto the table and have enjoyable (close) games at a LGS with as limited an investment as possible, and use dire avengers and wave serpents. (I love the models) What should my expectations be - is this realistic? Thanks!
hello ! I'm new to 40k and was wondering if the harleyquins share the same codex as aldari and are functionally the same ? are they just a thematic thing or do they actually play differently?
There is no eldaria codex as of yet, but they share the same index- and yes, at the moment they are effectively the same army, can be in the same detachments and benefit from the same bonuses
If the local meta is shifted to be more light and heavy infantry (like marines) instead of heavy vehicles, what's good units to fill that last part of a list after the "required" stuff like bully, hard target elimination, and speed/light infantry elimination? Do you just take extra speed and light infantry units?
Yeah, the heavy infantry meta is going to be interesting. Vypers with Star Cannons for stripping cover, then AP-4, like DCannons, fusion guns, etc. I am experimenting with another trick I might post about if it works
New sub here I just bought 1 Combat patrol + 1 box of Shoud runners and 1 Eldrad Ulthran ill try to kitbash something else to reach 1000pts and play 10th edition.
Potentially dumb question: I know no one likes the webway gate. But with a cursory reading of the rules…can it be used with rapid ingress? Because if so it seems like a wild area denial piece? Enemy moves within 6”, and you can rapid ingress a unit into engagement range, and it counts as having made a charge, which would give it fights first, rules as written. Or you could just ingress in a unit that has fights first, like banshees. And if the unit is engaged, it can’t shoot unless it can shoot into combat. Probably still a dumb, niche, application for the points cost, but is it theoretically possible?
@@TheTommyFrench sorry for not seeing this sooner- the answer is that it still just too easy to play around and wildly resource intensive to control an.objective in that way
can you please make a buying guide? Combat patrol is good start, but what next? how to save money? Which old boxes like "Eldritch omens" we should fish on. That information would save a lot of Aeldari money:))
The best way is second hand lots. Honestly, the combat patrol is not a good start unless you are playing combat patrol games. I suggest buying: Foot farseer Autarch Wayleaper Avatar of Khaine Either 2 Fire Prisms or 2 DCannons 5 Warp Spiders That is a really good start
@@WBConcilio I agree on second hand lots. However, I would prefer unassembled kits. I have two more armies, so I believe I won't play craftworlds before I collect enough painted miniatures for competetive list. Can you see here a problem? I can! Meta is constantly changing, so if i pick some list now and spend half an year finishing the models, the list became old. Thus, my idea is to collect an army, focusing on big boxes with good discount. If I lucky enough, I can find a good lot in local chats, but I would like to have a solid buying strategies from other people to improve mine. I like comvet patrol for its discount and at least two good units ( guardians, farseer), one average ( double windriders) and only one "shelft sentinel"!
@@EvgeniiShchetinin if you want the combat patrol then absolutely get it. If you're thinking long term then get some units that fill different roles and expand from there. If there's no rush then just collect and paint until your time has come :)
The wraiths and spirit seer are 110 more points than the avatar. Do they make up that big points difference or is the avatar just much more efficient for points?
Durable target elim. It used to be the best unit in the whole game, but has been nerfed. It is still good if you give in two wraith cannons, throw Fortune on it, and use fate dice to trigger Devestating Wounds- but I would not take the standard knight to a GT
I was planning starting eldar, i ordered a combat patrol and i planned to get myself up to a 1000 points first to get an idea of how the army plays and how does it feels and after listening to this video i was wondering if using everything you get from the combat, 2 war wallers, 5 wraith guard, an autarch wayleaper would be like a decent start. (The warwalkers would be the anti-heavy stuff and the single wraith lord i was thinking building him anti-heavy infantry with the shuriken cannons and the wraith guard as well with the D-scythe) is this a good idea or what should i change?
Yeah, that's not a bad way to go- but you DEFINITELY need a Spiritseer to lead the Wraithguard. Also, if you are running the bikes from the combat patrol, you might want a Farseer skyrunner to lead them. OR for now, you can run them as two fast and disposable scoring units, but you should give them Shuriken Cannons either way

I've been looking for these kind of videos since 10th edition came out. And finally!! Finally I know how to use my Aeldari! Thank you so much!!
My great pleasure!
I just started warhammer 40K and I picked Aeldari. Your video is very helpful. I didn’t really know where to start. You the man!
@@strawhats4858 glad you found it helpful!
Very similar situation and age to yours! Back in the game, Aeldari and Guard. Beautiful
Thank you so much man, I just now picked up a bulk of Aeldari from my LGS and got thrashed by my buddy playing T-Sons - this video showed me exactly why (three units dead by turn 1 - ouch!). Consider me hooked on your advice and content!
I’ve just started my Eldar army- enjoy the optioneering with the faction. Playing my first game with them next week and this video is a massive help in preparation !
Been watching your channel for years and finally fell in love with playing Eldar myself this Edition. Your videos are very helpful
I am so glad you have found them helpful!
Welcome to pointy ears :)
almost painted a combat patrol this video was a big help on how to go forward from that
Just started playing eldar, these videos are so helpful! Keep making these sir!
Sir your breakdown and presentation are legit the easiest to understand. I kinda hope some of the other faction focus channels take notes.
this is fantastic thank you!
Great video. This was a really good reminder of the overall picture. It’s so easy some times to fall down the rabbit hole of focusing on synergies between individual units at the expense of the bigger picture as a whole. 🤘👍
With how much I struggle with actual play I'm glad I randomly walked into this video!
Woot!!
God I have been playing with eldar since 8th ed and really struggled with them but this video really, really helps! Thanks man, keep up the Amazing work!
Thank you so much for saying so- I hope you will check out some of the others :)
31:56 I miss back in the day when power weapons negated all saves, and you could crack open a Land Raider with a Bright Lance then dump a unit of Banshees w/ Jain into a unit of terminators and wipe them off the board in one Assault.
I really love guardians wish they had more reason to use. Great video just starting a new army got the combat patrol
Hi, good video.
I'd say Storm Guardians have utility function due to sticky.
Grab objective in the open and force the enemy's hand to expose their units in taking it. Then killing them for the effort. The opponent will always underestimate them too. Two flamers and two fusions.
Thinking about starting the hobby. Thanks for the vid very helpful.

Such a helpful video for beginers like me. Thanks for the job!!

Long time viewer Brent, and when you were discussing detachment rules I suddenly realized why the Wave Serpent twin-lance isn't nonsense;
There may be a point in the distant future where we don't have Battle Host rerolls from a different detachment, in which case, twin linked may be pretty clutch
@@Tearen0 hold up, doesn't twin-linked grant re-rolls to wound? So with the detachment bonus you get full re-rolls to hit AND wound on a serpent.
Have I got that wrong?

Great stuff as always!
@WBConcilio thanks for the advice. I can build around most of that. Fuegan will have to wait awhile, been trying to get my hands on him.

In Resume: ( As far as I understand XD)

- Being the fastest is important, kill units that are faster o that are able to make you slower as early as posible (Tyranids with the capacity to slow units must be annoying ASF)
- Kill priority targets as fast a you can early, damage dealers or important for the rival army gameplay (ummm cripple the Astra Militarum Artillery or Tanks?)
- Have Bully units to wrestle for the middle ground in later turns.
- Be as annoying as possible with your mobility 😂😂😂
If forgot something please tell me.

This was really helpful... even if it did tell me my old favorite Saim Hann army isn't really useful anymore.
Oh, it's doable. I will make a video
This was great!
@@Sparkster918 I am really sorry that I missed this question 6 months ago! Did you come up with something?
@@WBConcilio
I suspected that would be the case, thanks for the confirmation!
This is a really useful video and good for trying stuff that isn't exactly meta but what I have in my collection. Two questions though. My question is though on how to support the big bully units besides the farseer to provide OC? Also can Bernard and the local kneck beard be recurring characters in your future videos?
10/10 could just watch again
Actually watching it again
@@mistercastillo6517 can you find stuff on eB

Me if I was spiteful: “Why would I use less fate dice when you have cope of moment”
"My farseer told me so!"
Noob here. Great video.
I keep hearing "screening" in strategy videos related to rangers and shroud runners. Could you explain what this means and how it works?
You can “screen out” deep strikes and infiltrators from certain areas of the board since those models must be placed 9” away from enemy (your) models.
You can also screen for charges by simply putting cheap models in front of your expensive ones, just be sure they cannot consolidate 3 inches into whatever you were trying to protect.
the voidscarred corsairs being so not worth it hurts my soul. such absolutely beautiful, cool models...
There are some tricky ways to use 5 as melee counter punchers with the Visarch, but it's a highly meta dependent build and has never made it to a GT
I think they are legit good maxxed out with yvraine
How do most people play: can I use Fate dice for a reroll? For example, I fail my initial wound roll, and I want to guarantee it on the reroll so I use a fake dice 5.
Although GW has not officially ruled on this, major events- I think LVO included- have judged that a reroll IS a roll, and that therefore yes you can.
In 9th edition, rerolls were not treated as rolls, but the language changed to suggest that they are
update for anyone still here: GW has OFFICIALLY confirmed fate dice can be used on re-rolls now!
Great video as always, Brent! I'm curious though--what makes banshees so good against necrons?
Hi AP and lots of attacks against single wound infantry in cover- wipes the squad before reanimation protocols kick in- efficiently pointed as a trading unit into Necrons
Great video! I'm a Drukhari player looking to learn Aeldari and this video was super helpful. Although, do you have any advice on how to build a Biel Tan themed list? I would like the run more aspect warriors but it seems like they are more situational than some of the other units.

@@WBConcilio Thank you! I now know what I need to buy first for my Aeldari list.
Do you also make videos like this one about drukhari? Or only if they are part of a Ynnari list?
Generally only if they are in a Ynnari list. You should check out Skari- he is the definitive Drukhari content creator
"And then all your units in your army are just automatically in that detachment and get some bonus". AdMech would like to have a word...
I went with a full wraith themed army so even though you specifically said not too I ended up with three wraithlords and because of points a hemlock wraith fighter haha. It’s my first time making an army so I’m not sure how good my list is.
@@nankles oh, it is totally thematic for Iyanden! And wraithguard are solid
14:22 is a Spiritseer necessary for Wraithguard to be a bully unit? What's the advice should he be killed?

Sad news: Bonesingers are legends now- and you can't really hide War Walkers anyway- which only come in units one one. @@oodlesofnoodles4660
I would pick something that could actually participate in the battle for that job or something cheaper, but maybe.
Avengers and Banshees just don't have enough damage output to be the backbone target elim units of a list
I'm currently building a fluffy Saim Hann list with lots of jetbikes, vypers, grav tanks etc. Would be awesome to hear your take on how to run this kind of list? Not much out there currently (even less with 10th ed specifics).
Absolutely. I have a lot of suggestions
(Also, consider watching my video on the Avatar.)
Advance the Wraithblades to screen and dominate midfield objectives- support with Powerful long range shooting.
As for scoring units, you can do okay with MSU Shiriken Cannon Windriders and Harlequins Skyweavers. Shadow Runners also work because of the pregame move
@@WBConcilio That is an awesome reaponse 👍 Thanks!

Use Bladestorm on Kabalites in Ynnari for those anti-infantry 3+ splinter weapons!
@@WBConcilio thanks so much, I mostly just play with a group of friends that all got into the hobby at the same time, so I'd only homebrew with them.
@@jacrothe1138 in order for them to actually be competitive, they would also need +1S in melee in which case you could leave them their current cost
I think more than 1 guardian defender units are required to screen from enemy deep strikers (and support the rest of the army with their heavy weapon)
Hi Brent! I appreciate your videos a lot - I am returning after a 10 year break
Context: I have a mech-dar list from ~2013, 3 wave serpents, 2 fire prisms and a falcon w/ lots of Dire Avengers/Striking Scorpions.
(I love the models)
What should my expectations be - is this realistic?

Hi, and thank you!

😊
I suggest buying:
Foot farseer
Autarch Wayleaper
Avatar of Khaine
Either 2 Fire Prisms or 2 DCannons
5 Warp Spiders
That is a really good start

Yeah, that's not a bad way to go- but you DEFINITELY need a Spiritseer to lead the Wraithguard.
