    Really good tutorial!! To anyone following this though, I would suggest measuring the hat to your head, as you go along, after each row rather than trying to follow these exact numbers (but they are a good guideline). You might have to do less double crochets for a smaller hat. Mine turned out a little big.

    Is it just me? I’ve been trying to follow the tutorial but after row three I keep getting a different number of stitches. For example row 3 I didn’t end up with 26 but 30 (off the top of my head have to go back and count the stitches)

    • @venstarrrr
      @venstarrrr 7 месяцев назад +2

      So basically she might’ve messed up her numbers, usually increasing is by the number you started off with. For example, we started off with 10’s so your increase should go up by 10 each row. Don’t worry you were on track!!!

      Same. I think she may have her stitch count wrong because if you increase in every other stitch for twenty stitches you end up with more than 26!

    Love the pattern…I do have a question about the pattern. After I do 2 HDC in each chain which would make it 20 total. I wanted to know in the next row if its correct because I keep trying to make it and I don’t get 26, I get 30 instead. So what im asking is, is it maybe thats a mistake on number of finished chains? Is it supposed to be 30 and its a typo? Would love to hear back on it. Thank you

    • @dinahackley-hunt6610
      @dinahackley-hunt6610 9 месяцев назад

      I had the same question and just made one with the correct number of stitches. Her written pattern was probably based on a different number of stitches in the MC.

      For your circle to be flat and not “potato chip” out every row you should increase the amount of stitches you started with so row 1 was 10 row 2 was 20 (increase of 10) row 3 should be 30 and so on so forth. Or else it’ll bubble out and not sit on your head properly
