Loved this tutorial, plain, simple & to the point, also because this was the exact hat look I was hoping to find, not too ruffled but just enough, thawadah princess!🧡🧡
Really good tutorial!! To anyone following this though, I would suggest measuring the hat to your head, as you go along, after each row rather than trying to follow these exact numbers (but they are a good guideline). You might have to do less double crochets for a smaller hat. Mine turned out a little big.
Love this tutorial. Very simple and easy to follow. My hats cuteeeee. The only thing is for the bring I did first row 4 HDC and second row 3 gives more of a dramatic bend. ❤
just finished mine, the tutorial and pattern made it so easy, having the measurements for each section for reference helped so much! thanks for this ❤️
Thank you for sharing your talents and your tutorial was very helpful. I haven't used this type of yarn yet and I need to get that size hook. But you explained it so clear. I can't wait to make the hat.
Hello this is your ne of Mrs Santa Claus helpers she has seen your Mrs Santa Claus hat she likes ve all the colors that you have made in the pass and she wishes you a verry Marry Christmas Nd mr Santa Claus said that his wife looks stunning in her new Mrs Santa Claus hat thank you and have a Happy New Year
Is it just me? I’ve been trying to follow the tutorial but after row three I keep getting a different number of stitches. For example row 3 I didn’t end up with 26 but 30 (off the top of my head have to go back and count the stitches)
So basically she might’ve messed up her numbers, usually increasing is by the number you started off with. For example, we started off with 10’s so your increase should go up by 10 each row. Don’t worry you were on track!!!
Love the pattern…I do have a question about the pattern. After I do 2 HDC in each chain which would make it 20 total. I wanted to know in the next row if its correct because I keep trying to make it and I don’t get 26, I get 30 instead. So what im asking is, is it maybe thats a mistake on number of finished chains? Is it supposed to be 30 and its a typo? Would love to hear back on it. Thank you
I had the same question and just made one with the correct number of stitches. Her written pattern was probably based on a different number of stitches in the MC.
For your circle to be flat and not “potato chip” out every row you should increase the amount of stitches you started with so row 1 was 10 row 2 was 20 (increase of 10) row 3 should be 30 and so on so forth. Or else it’ll bubble out and not sit on your head properly
Thanks for this simple and clear tutorial! Just wondering, how many rows did you do the the 4in body? I just don’t have a measuring tape lol winging it
Your tutorial is really great I just don't understand the stitch count in the rows. My rows never turn out to be the exact same stitches as yours.. I always have way more stitches than you..
I made a hat yesterday using this tutorial. Perhaps I wanted to make a baby one, would I just start off with less HDC in the magic circle but still follow the increase pattern?
I followed this tutorial and it came out beautiful, thank you 🤍🤗 is there a way I can adjust the hat to be more fitted? The space in between the hat has a little space but it’s not significantly big
Crocheted my first hat with this tutorial! You explained everything really well. Thank you!!!
Aww im so happy for you !! Send pictures if you can on Instagram @kens.creations💚💚

use a smaller hook
Yeah, my head is a little bit bigger. So I had to go up to forty eight stitches

I keep ending up with more than 26 stitches in round 3 what am I doing wrong?
Same. I think she may have her stitch count wrong because if you increase in every other stitch for twenty stitches you end up with more than 26!
The math is wrong. You should end up with 30 on round 3
Oh ok, i i was wondering why
Hii how can I increase the size of the hat if I’m using a smaller yarn? Thank youu
how did you get the circle to start it?
Hi! How would make it a straight bucket hat at the end instead of frilly ?
How is the 3rd row having 26??????
How many rows did you do before starting the ruffles?
How do you make it fit your head???
Thank you for this tutorial (: ❤️
Can you please do another tutorial slowly. I really would love that

Did U work into the slip stitch btw?

So cute! if we want the brim to be longer do we just do another row with no increases?
If you’re wanting bigger ruffles , crochet 1 more row of the ruffles and then finish of with 1hdc in each stitch for a total of 14 rows
How can I increase the length of the ruffles to make them look like a longer and deep type of ruffle like the pictures in your thumbnails
I suggest another row with 2DC IN each stitch/hole
Did you whip that up in 13 mins?
Thanks for the video. What is the weight of the yarn?
Weight 6 Super Bulky
It was really good but I want to know how to side it to my head
Your tutorial is really great I just don't understand the stitch count in the rows. My rows never turn out to be the exact same stitches as yours.. I always have way more stitches than you..
SAME
Same, I'm getting 30 stitches at row three. I'm a beginner so I have no idea what I'm missing or doing wrong.
@@fluffynarwhalssame
She started with 10 stitches so it increases by 10 each row.
Mine keeps caving in when I do the second row what I’m I doing wrong??🥴🥴
Make sure you’re putting two hdc in each of the stitches, you may be missing a stitch
Love your tutorial! So easy and simple to follow but I think you may have gotten your stitch count wrong.
Hey girl good looking 🎉
Thank you so much for sharing your work I enjoyed your video and look forward to more
Is it hard for you to handle the needle because I've never seen anyone crochet like that before
Can I use a smaller strand of yarn?
Yes you can , just make sure your circle measures to the correct measurements so it will be the same size
Oh yesss im makin this right nowww
His many rolls did it take to make one hat
How*
Very nice
Thanks for sharing. Did you use a full yarn to make this hat?
No, I am usually able to make two hats from one skein of yarn
Hiii wanted to lyk your discord link in the description didn’t work🤍
I made a hat yesterday using this tutorial. Perhaps I wanted to make a baby one, would I just start off with less HDC in the magic circle but still follow the increase pattern?
By the way you made is so easy! This is the best tutorial I’ve come across! Thank you!!
Hey where do you buy these yarns online?
Joann and Michaels sell Bernat yarn online. You could also use Amazon they have some options there also.
Don’t want anyone else to go insane but the stitch counts don’t add up just continue the pattern with however many chains you end up with at each row
I accidentally made this type of hat while I was trying to do a sack hat aka a cat hat haha!
I followed this tutorial and it came out beautiful, thank you 🤍🤗 is there a way I can adjust the hat to be more fitted? The space in between the hat has a little space but it’s not significantly big
I’m not sure how anyone even understands I feel like she’s not explaining well she jus doing it
You are talking very low
