    Great BTS, and congrats for your wedding! One small note on the Core batteries, I was eyeing them too but then I went with 'Blueshape' batteries (similar concepts), mainly because their P-tap is on the side instead of the back. These batteries are already long enough and occasionally hitting them with our body while holding the camera is inevitable. I saw some Core users mentioning that the battery does not sit tight enough in the camera which could be some QC issue among the batteries and maybe not a common issue. One B&H reviewer had problems fitting various P-taps into the Core battery (that I also experienced in other batteries or battery plates)...which is a pain. All in all, thank you for your reviews on the C70, this is a great channel, good luck on your filmmaking journey!

    Been watching your channel for awhile now and really appreciate your stuff. As a fellow in-house DP, down the road I would love to hear about more of the workflow you have to go through in the "in-house" environment. Like client/production relationship, approvals, pre-pro, etc. Keep on keeping on man. Congrats on the wedding!

    I've been watching your videos for quite some time now (for atleast a year now) and I love your behind the scenes videos a lot. But I was curious if you were considering making videos about the business side of things running your video production company? As much as I am interested in on set production videos, I'm also really curious about how you even got the clients in the first place, how you manage your projects and money, so on and so forth. Love and support from Greece!

    I was interested in getting the AtomX Cast but the no iso record was a deal breaker. I ended up getting the Shogun 7 and being able to take the program switch into FCP with an XML is fantastic! If you do a miss cue cut, it's a very simple fix in FCP, plus if you want to adjust some of your cuts, that's quick and easy too. Thanks for sharing your BTS! Always love seeing how other producers create their content.

      We also have a shogun 7 and love it as well. It’s a bit more robust with the iso recording. This one was great for the price since I already had a ninja v

    We just got that pad prompter to replace a more expensive and rugged ipad prompter we used for years. The pad prompter feels kind of cheap but that's because it is cheap and it's super fast to setup and compact when it breaks down. I like it a lot more than the one we had before and I have no issue buying spares if something happens to that one.

    • @GriffinConway
      @GriffinConway  2 года назад +1

      Our team uses the sennheiser avx lav kits with the mke2 mics. We like them. Range on them isn’t the best, but as long as you have line of sight they sound great and I like the compact form factor and rechargeable batteries.

    Switcher looks nice, i only know the BM Atem‘s but this setup makes much sense too. Also cool to see you work a bit of a lighter setup for once too. Is this a regular thing you do too or not as much and more bigger productions?

    • @GriffinConway
      @GriffinConway  2 года назад +1

      Thanks Nath! I like the stems as well. This one was perfect for this setup because it is so compact and doesn’t need an extra computer, drives etc. I don’t do these types of jobs as much as I used to, but I would say 20% of my work is in 1-2 person crews
