honestly thank you for getting stuck on the youtube talk, it was interesting as heck to hear what goes on in the background and the process of content creation.. it's one of those things that doesn't really get talked about much.
Cool I think you should try to get the boys from @Streetracechannel and @OldMansGarage. I think that would be a cool podcast if you could get the whole family on the show
I know LS George gets alot flak in the comments but I think the decision to make him the go to content creator guy is spot on. No one else on the team has his energy and laughter. He just brings out the best in Garrett and really makes him want to push the limits that much farther. It's like the movies where there are two people and they just head off in a direction and stuff starts happening and by the end of the movie they are literally saving the world.
@@swampypolitics9574 Oh I do agree, but from what I can tell (and this is from my perspective) is that he is a little bit of a wuss and a pushover. That tends to attract bully's and men who are a bit more aggressive and stick up for themselves tend to kind of treat guys like that like a court jester and don't give them the respect they deserve. Part of human nature as much as I hate to admit it. It's why its VERY important to always hit the gym, (get them muscles), make sure you are very skilled in something, never put yourself down, and become as confident as you can. That usually fixes that problem.
Literally happy for George. I used to watch Dr timing and George was the highlight of his videos. Glad to see cleet saw this and gave him a shott. Definitely a positive thing adding George to the fleet lol
Part of me misses this dynamic every video and another is proud of Cooper for having the balls to do his own thing. Either way I wouldn't mind more Cooper back on Cleets channel.

George has been a fantastic addition to the channel. Frankly, he was the reason I watched Jeremy's channel, and when George left Faster Proms I lost interest in the channel. I love George's energy and excitement.
Garrett, if you build a new track, you should get ahold of Jeremy Wagler. What he’s done with his track is remarkable. The farmers used to fight the track for years. Jeremy has done some awesome things at Wagler Motorsports Park. It now has a burnout pad, a motor cross, areas to camp and fish, and a area for tractor pulls. He also has an on site adult training facility to help people get better paying jobs. Jeremy owns Wagler competition products. He recently bought a local machine shop to support the local racing community. Jeremy is a GOOD dude. Cooper, I think you should have him on. His story is remarkable. From Amish to a leader in performance diesel products.
i agree - I didn't like George on the "other channel" but he's really come in to his one with a better team behind him. Good on Cleeter for seeing it and giving the freedom to be himself!
I think the drag-n-drive events are some of the best content. Especially when Cleetus is rolling with multiple crews on his team. Also loved the challenge videos, when the team challenged each other, I think the last one was the boat challenge.

Im a retired cop and through the community within about 2 seconds every cop in the country had the same thought, "Who the hell writes for a U-Turn" hahahahaha The cop got roasted pretty good in some LE chat groups he was in. Cool to see this all come full circle
I wish cleetus would do a "topgear" style adventure. Buy cheap cars and do a trip with them over a distance. The cheap car stuff is so fun but any vifeos where the whole group is together doing stuff are always my favorites. The atmosphere on trips is unreal.

it's a subjective thing.. some people watch it for the process, some watch it for the result, and some will watch any content.. it's about finding that fine line between the different demographics of viewers and also getting the attention of new viewers. the problem is dealing with viewers that think what they want to see is the only thing that matters and everyone else is wrong.
I'm a build process guy tbh. Love Vice Grip Garage, Junkyard Diggs, things like that. But I also watch all of Cleeter, BoostedBoiz, and Coop`s content no questions!
I enjoy watching the build, I get to watch entertaining videos while still learning how to do specific things on car builds. But I also enjoy the action as well. Vice grip garage, boosted boiz, Cleetus, Dave Sparks, Motion Raceworks channel, etc.

Mullet is iconic at this point, but it doesn't seem to be the best chassis for what they're doing with it. It would be great to see them build something to compete with Bailey and Steve Morris directly. They could use nitrous instead of turbos just for the fun conflict it would create with the other guys.
NPK requires the most valuable asset which is time. Those guys do that as a full time job. Garret would do it but it would be at the cost of most of the other content.
On the locals only it’s a invitation deal where all the invited locals race off to race one of the big name outlaws. Cleeter needs to build a big tire car to have a fair chance against Steve and Bailey anyway so two birds one stone
I can see from this Podcast that Cleetus could really benefit with having more chats like this with Cooper.... Cooper has the ability to make Cleetus see ideas in a different light. Cooper/Cleetus, convince yourselves to work together again on McFarlands channel, imo it would be the icing on the cake.

I’m so glad they are still friends. I was worried when Cooper left the channel. There was not much crossover and I thought their friendship had ended, but I was clearly wrong. This felt like two close friends just talking about work.
I know Jeremy is off RUclips, but a reunion vid of the fasterproms cleetus crew would be huge for the OG fans and some nostalgic views. That podcast alone would be massive.

You know Cletus ironically enough you can absolutely push a car basically the minute the engine is done. A lot of guys aren’t aware you can run hard almost immediately after the engine is built. Rob shoemaker and boyd bumbera both do the same and run them hard almost immediately and they’ve been doing that for years. I know Andre from horsepower Academy has said the same thing. All these guys are extremely well-versed in not only drag racing, but in tuning as well. Food for thought!

Great episode! I wish cleetus would do a weekly series with his cars. If he did a Monday Wednesday and Thursday each week and did a different car on each day like Monday (mullet), Wednesday (leroy), etc… He also has enough cars and other vehicles that he could do different seasons throughout the year. I think that would be cool

I watch all of you guys because of your collective energy. TBH, I don't even like the rides you guys mod and fabricate! I got hooked during covid when I saw Cleetus riding his El Camino on street roads like it's just a regular thing. I was like, WTF! Is this guy nuts? Anyways, his positive vibe and a sprinkle of naiveness ( at least on the channel ) were enough for me to love watching all the episodes ever since. I might not like the rides, but seeing the crew figuring things out and getting better on track is excellent. Plus, the carbon cub and minimal Porsche content satisfy my liking more. And 100% George has the vibes, and it's fantastic to see Cleetus notice more potential in his work than simply wrenching in the shop.

RUclips premium is about the only subscription I pay for. It’s well worth having. Decent free movies and the ad free viewing is awesome. Plus the free downloading and offline listening is awesome when I ride my motorcycles.
I love the videos when they travel to places to participate in different sports etc. It's cool to see their sportsmanship and camaraderie backed with their competitiveness to win.
I know a lot of people (most of them I work with) that I talk to about the latest Cleetus video and we all enjoy the drag racing content. We all are on that bus that is taking us to the next goal, which is faster than 6.47 1/4 mile for 1 example!
One thing a lot of RUclipsrs have been doing to funnel new viewers are shorts. It doesn’t make a lot of money but I’ve definitely heard people say it has helped them gain more viewers.

I think Cleetus remarked that after an event the track was so clean. His fans respect the Factory like it was their own.

You know Cletus ironically enough you can absolutely push a car basically the minute the engine is done. A lot of guys aren’t aware you can run hard almost immediately after the engine is built. Rob shoemaker and boyd bumbera both do the same and run them hard almost immediately and they’ve been doing that for years. I know Andre from horsepower Academy has said the same thing. All these guys are extremely well-versed in not only drag racing, but in tuning as well. Food for thought!
This was so awesome. Still watching, and I haven't stopped smiling the entire time! Great to see these two guys just talk it up. Like two good friends catching up after a couple years. Im actually really glad that you guy get paid from youtube premium. I have been doing it since youtube red. Playing when the phone is locked is enough, but the ad free play makes it a night and day different experience.

When you and Cleetus talk about the trans I feel I have a pretty good idea what you're talking about. My prediction is that this channel surpasses your car channel within the year! I wish Cleetus had a podcast like this on his second channel or start a 3rd channel!

I wish cleetus would do a weekly series with his cars. If he did a Monday Wednesday and Thursday each week and did a different car on each day like Monday (mullet), Wednesday (leroy), etc…
He also has enough cars and other vehicles that he could do different seasons throughout the year.

Heck no ... Not sure what it is but I can watch a video from Cleetus every single day ! Especially the goofy ones like when he ran the Hummer under some trees and ripped off the snorkel I laughed so hard. I think Maddie was videoing at her reaction was just so funny.. We need more videos like that !!

I watch all of you guys because of your collective energy. TBH, I don't even like the rides you guys mod and fabricate! I got hooked during covid when I saw Cleetus riding his El Camino on street roads like it's just a regular thing. I was like, WTF! Is this guy nuts? Anyways, his positive vibe and a sprinkle of naiveness ( at least on the channel ) were enough for me to love watching all the episodes ever since. I might not like the rides, but seeing the crew figuring things out and getting better on track is excellent. Plus, the carbon cub and minimal Porsche content satisfy my liking more.
And 100% George has the vibes, and it's fantastic to see Cleetus notice more potential in his work than simply wrenching in the shop.

RUclips premium is about the only subscription I pay for. It’s well worth having. Decent free movies and the ad free viewing is awesome. Plus the free downloading and offline listening is awesome when I ride my motorcycles.
I love the videos when they travel to places to participate in different sports etc. It's cool to see their sportsmanship and camaraderie backed with their competitiveness to win.
I know a lot of people (most of them I work with) that I talk to about the latest Cleetus video and we all enjoy the drag racing content. We all are on that bus that is taking us to the next goal, which is faster than 6.47 1/4 mile for 1 example!

One thing a lot of RUclipsrs have been doing to funnel new viewers are shorts. It doesn’t make a lot of money but I’ve definitely heard people say it has helped them gain more viewers.
I personally believe that Cletus brought automotive content back into the mainstream on youtube.
