Great video, thanks for showing us your methods.
I live in a mature wooded area in Northern VA. Tree oysters started growing at the base of a potted avocado tree, and golden oysters started growing at the base of my potted ponytail palm. Neither grouping was attached to the trunks, but to mulch next to the trunks. When I attempted to break them off, the whole grouping and base came out, attached to the mulch. While this was a nice surprise to eat, it raised the question: can I transplant the mycelium to grow these on purpose? I do have a greenhouse, but it is for tomatoes, peppers, and tropical plants, so it isn't shady. Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated!

The world deserves to hear your opinion of what is going on in Canada right now.

Unfortunately, with current government censorship and this being such a divided issue among Canadians, I can't publicly have an opinion these days.
I'm staying busy right now and will be growing a lot of food this year. The best thing everyone can do is help their local communities.

Anyone know the actual name for the white harvesting trays he is using? They look like low profile laundry baskets.

which bags are you using for the Elm Oyster fruiting? They sound really brittle when handled.

@@whatthefungus @whatthefungus where can I source those white bins you are using for delivery? We've been using clear storage totes with holes drilled in the sides and lined with paper towels. Enables the air exchange while awaiting delivery or use and helps contain some of the humidity but I'm thinking your totes might work better so I don't have to use the paper towel lining. Do you have problems with them drying out too much in your or your restaurant client's walk in coolers? I knew another grow who was using deep walled bread racks and he was saying that was his biggest problem with them in a walk in cooler.

Besides the shade fabric, how do you keep the greenhouses from getting too warm during the hot summers there? I realize you rotate to summer varieties, but doesn't they still need cool temps during pinning? Just a curious newbie :)

    Hey,
I hope that you can help me: My main RUclips Channel (Another Perspective, 38k subs) has receives 3 strikes in 2 days claiming that "mushroom growth time lapse" shows illegal content (drugs). A review of RUclips brought no solution. I got another strike for a video about shiitake mushrooms. Any idea why youtube is starting doing this? I have upload mushroom time lapse for 8 month now getting 5k-30k views and now it seems as all mushroom content is getting taken down and channel are striked out of the youtube game/business. This very small channel also got 2 striked for mushrooms video: RUclips deleted them by saying it shows "drugs". This might harm all mushroom channels earlier or later: I guess you have not gotten any strikes yet?
