Hella late to the party, but o was at guitar center earlier returning some gear. They happened to have a demo unit from way back when these were brand new. I tried it out with an s9, and it’s amazing! I bought it right away. And then, I ordered another used one that very moment. I’m amped up to rock these. I had a blast with just one on an s9, so two with my s7: epic!

Traktor Kontroll s4 MK3 also has motorized joggweel and an vibration for the cue point. Also around the wheel is an LED ring for the position.
That first track screams the vibes of Sensation 2005 dude. Great selections throughout that provides both old school and current moods. I definitely like some of the older/classic vibes that came out in this one.
Also - just have to say, when "We Are One" drops... its going to be a massive tune!
Lastly - hearing "Break The House Down" reminded me of one of your best song titles... "Down With The Mustard." :)
Probably one of the best "real mixing" videos I've seen in a long time. The music selection wasn't bad either. Respect. 13:55 that was nice.

Wow u r really the master of creativity...no DJ's can easily perform a live set without practicing a lot a lot of times....only Legends can do that...wow usually most DJ'S these days already used pre made sets from home..i don't say its bad but mann you rock its insane....wow

Well, getting ready to buy the 1800 mixer "Nused" tomorrow after work, then these babies cuz there on Sale Right now! Even though this is an older video and not the 6000's I'm stoked to get these! Huge price difference, and I just think it's Best for me @ this time. The 1800 mixer just brings these decks together in a Special Way! Many little tweeks u can add to your mix, loads of trickery...
I am really liking the new decks. And I wouldn't say hardwell quite. Once an artist always an artist. The love for making music will continue. That is the beauty of electronic music it can be made any where. Dont need to leave the House.

Really enjoyed this Luke, I've seen a few of your vids and you put out quality content. You come across as a very genuine guy. Looking at those Denon's reminded me of the day I opened and assembled my Vestax PDX2000's around the 2001 mark and it was ace seeing you mix on the Denon's and sharing it with us. I recently bought some Pioneer DDJ gear and am enjoying getting back into it.
I love this new version of denon because it has a real vinyl feel as the old denon versions (3500, 5000, 3700 and others) ♥

those decks are awesome. hope you use them from now on. it is the best of both worlds
I miss the screens in the middle of the platter but these definitely have a place in the Denon range. Now they need to concentrate on some cheaper controllers that function in a similar way so they can get the new djs on board and progress on to these.

I have it, but I don't know where to find it now. It's not laidback luke, its by a producer named Staysick. I doubt it will ever be released.
Denon's pitch bend buttons work great Luke. You should give it a try instead of riding the pitch fader.
I hate using pitch bend buttons, but I suspect it will be more of a necessity with these than the non-M. With the pitch % display, though, there's little reason to not just ride the pitch. Less abrupt, too. But if you need an abrupt bend, the buttons are way more predictable than manipulating the record directly. 7" is very touchy.
Let's make Denon's a club standard. Love their gear!

I remember the CDJ from Numark with the vinyl platter had the opposite issue with keylock, if it was on, it was always on even when scratching. Don't know if it was on purpose, but it sounded weird, but it was a funny effect to have. They should do that on the Denon too, like a triple option for the key lock : off / on with regular scratch / on with keylocked scratch :)

I recommend using a 1/4 to 1/8 Headphone adapter so that you wear out the Adapter, rather than the mixer.

I think the Audio a little bit faster than actual mix, but still good mix... And maybe Mr.Luke you can tell to the Denon Guys, that the latest Engine Prime cannot installed to Win 10, and still no troubleshooting in the Internet to fix it. Thanks

Kura is a good Portuguese Dj from Cascais, but the best for me is Djeff Afrozilla but with a different style. You must hear Djeff tracks and sets. Thanks for your vlogs

So which player do you prefer...? The SC5000, or this SC5000M ? :) I'm thinking of getting a new set of players and I'm doubting between these two. Mind you - I come from the old vinyl era. I still have 2 Reloop vinyl players for that authentic feel, but I'm wondering if you could get similar results from the regular SC5000? Thanks for any tips or feedback. So glad you directed me to this vlog, I honestly was wondering if Denon was going to make a vinyl style player with the sc5000. Knowing that Numark came out with the v7 and ns7 and Denon had the sc3000 and sc3900 which lead me to hope that Denon would make the sc5000 into a vinyl style player. Also, do you plan to use the sc5000m when you're doing shows?

Before i forgett to ask !! About Djeeing - Is it better to use the !!! Isolator or the EQ!!! - Channel while dj myself using Isolator by recording my sets !! Should it be deffrent?? because noby has a right answer aboutt it or dont no nothing about Isolator while djeeing !! THANKS
when you mix in a new track, it would be nice to hear what you hear in your headphones, we see you enjoy your mixing that only you hear(in your headphones) I think It would be nice to hear that to. Enjoy your vids alot.
Luke, do you think of swapping the SC5000's with the SC5000M so the haters can stop thinking that you aren't really djing, because this way they can really see that the platters are moving and that you do something even tho there are a lot of people that knows you are a real dj, there are people who still don't know that?
