I just love the Kickstarter bit because of how wild it gets. With the swapping of the music, Ding Dong getting upset, Julian stuttering then heavy breathing when he’s given the controller just to pause when Chris starts his bit. I fucking love these three, OneyPlays just doesn’t feel the same with out them.

The new guys aren't bad necessarily, I just got used to the specific banter between Chris, Ding Dong and Julian since that was the "team" when I started watching.
The Kickstarter skit was pure magic. Game grumps kept a straight face for theirs, but it eventually went into stale territory. Oneyplays skits and jokes can’t get old or stale because they never last that long.
I like to think Crash said it as he was falling in the loading screen and it turns out Crash talks like a flamboyant snarky villain archetype, making Julian question his heroic animation powers lmao
I remember this game! When my parents got it for me, I put it in the PS2 and it always claimed that it was unformatted and I could only make it work like 1 in every 15-20 times I restarted the console. It was also the only game disk we ever owned that had a blue bottom instead of the standard silver one, which convinced 11 year old me for my entire life that disks with blue bottoms were fake disks that didn't work right. Seeing that their gamecube version was just as broken feels like it has freed me from some blue bottom disk hating purgatory.
Actually, I think it's possible the issues you had could've been due to it being on a blue disc; not because they're bootlegs, blue discs are official, but because they're actually CD-ROMs, which was an option for PS2 games with smaller file sizes, and Wrath of Cortex was one of those games. From what I've heard, some PS2s may have problems reading CD-ROMs; I'm not entirely sure on the specifics, but that might be why your game didn't work. Then again, I don't have enough experience with the PS2 to know if it saying that the disc was unformatted is normal in that scenario. As for why they got that "Game Disc could not be read" error so much when playing it on GameCube, that's likely because the disc itself was badly scratched or something; in my experience, if a GameCube game were to run into an error, it would either show a different message saying "an error has occurred", or just crash.
