You can plant the little bulbils on your elephant garlic... they take about two years to grow 🙂 and we have a purple and silver metal door curtain on our back door as we get so many flies where we are in rural Cumbria because we back onto horse and sheep paddocks and there's cows everywhere too... and it's brilliant!!
Tony I’m in Sunderland so had the same weather as you. None of my elephant garlic split into cloves and they were all very wet. They are ok now all dried ok
Tony what’s attracting the flies, we have our conservatory doors open all day long and don’t get any flies, I once had a Sparrow Hawk fly in but it flew straight out. Just picked our first Onions Senshyu Yellow grown in 10’’ ex flower buckets.
Hi Tony I put up white sheets in greenhouse.
When harvesting garlic grab the stem and push down then pull up. Works pretty good. Did you get rid of the cc on potty mouth? Lots of people didn't like it. Oh then jb had some crazy edges on his. Are you 2 in coohoots?😅😂
You could always take one of each plant home (just incase) because it’s odd how fast the heat came on. Plus they’d be cooler in your kitchen, although maybe they’d have a problem with temperature change. It’s hard to know what to do really.
