- I know I have mentioned it before but I absolutely love how good Ryo is with all the kids he meets! He talks to them not down to them. He listens to what they have to say and respects them.
Maybe because I'm a father and I feel I try to do the same with my little one but he is gonna make such a good dad once he finally finds the ability to communicate his feelings to wich ever lady he decides to settle down with haha 🤣

This video is meant for enjoying the world that is Shenmue. More so an emersion into the world. Starting in the morning and ending in the evening. Will explore more in future videos for sure!
Slow downs/stuttering happening a lot more for me in Shenmue 2. Zoom not as smooth as Shenmue 1. I promise I am holding the left trigger firmly to zoom but the camera freaks out for no reason occasionally.
Just a simple walk, no real interactions with people. Seeing the sights and sounds as the world passes by.
Why make videos like this? It's just something I've wanted to have to play in the background or just relax watching Ryo on a walk through one of my favorite video games.
No set agenda or challenge to worry about. I hope you enjoy. Glitches/Errors/Slowdowns all included. Doing the best to make something with limited tech hehe.

For a game that's 20+ years old the textures are still so well done and vivid/detailed. Ah, the Sega Dreamcast was beyond magical.
And I've never seen the line "You have a beautifully shaped nose." before.
Poor Ryo always getting hit on and doesn't even realize it.. 😂

Yeah that line cracked me up too. Also the shopkeeper immediately getting mad about him asking a question. I mean... He could at least pretend to be helpful and then suggest why don't you buy a radio or a TV while you're here. Instead as soon as you ask a question he says get out!
But the little girl that he talks to that he met on the boat. It's just so cute and he really needs to hurry up and marry one of those ladies that keeps throwing themselves at him and have a baby! He'll be Dad of the year every year 👍

Haha, and yeah Ryo being nice to her is the Hazuki we all know and love. I think Yu Suzuki wanted to have that boat trip be a chapter in the game. Would have been cool indeed.

Seriously, tho, the city still feels so dense. It should have had more side quests and events involving npcs, because it feels like a waste to have this amount of detail and content, just for most of it to not have a proper use.
