Animal Crossing - 25+ Minutes of Rainy Day Gameplay (GameCube)

- This video will show you what my typical Animal Crossing (GameCube) session is like, on a rainy day. I check my mail, speak with my villagers, get insulted by Ursala, meet a new neighbor, do a favor, look for the money rock and glowing spot, stop in the shop, police station, post office, and more. I had a pretty lucky day in two ways (including the identity of my new villager), but an unlucky day in another way. Bang, bang!
This video has over 25 minutes (27 minutes and 30 seconds, actually) of continuous, uninterrupted gameplay. Even though I share my thoughts in on-screen text, I have not added any sound effects...and only one brief edit, to show the windsocks that I saw earlier this month.

I sometimes miss the rain music being 1 consistent song all day rather than rain variants of the normal themes

This game was the first game i feel like i really got "addicted to". When i got ahold of it on my gamecube i played it almost every day for years. I have my memory card to this day i just need to get a nee copy of the game... I miss this game.

i’m wondering, since you’ve played on this town for decades now, have you 100%ed the game? like cataloged every item and such?
No, because there are items you can't get through normal gameplay. For example, there are 15 different station models, and you can only get the one that matches your town's train station (unless you make tons of extra towns, wait until hometown day in each one of them, and then deliver them all by train to your main town--likely losing some favorite villagers in the process). That wouldn't be worth it to me.

Rain In Animal Crossing
i love this its quite relaxing
You know, the original Animal Crossing was kinda brutal for a kid's game. Imagine being little and being really happy to see one of the animals and they're a total jerk to you 😅 I'm glad I didn't play this until I was in my twenties lol. I miss Emerald a lot, though. I wish they'd bring her back.
I don't know how well it would translate but if they did something similar to super Mario All-Stars but with better quality obviously of animal crossing on the GameCube and animal crossing wild world on one cartridge ported to the switch they could make a fortune.
I'd even be happy with a moderately cleaned up original animal crossing.

I love this. What's with the gold trees? How did you get them?
They're the result of making a golden shovel (by burying a regular shovel in the daily glowing spot). That produces a sapling that will turn into a golden tree (if it lives). If you shake it once it's fully grown, a golden shovel will fall out. But the gold leaves last forever, so I've made a bunch of them just for that reason.

I miss the cell shaded look of this game. It had that cartoony touch to it.
