Martin is such a beautiful man, inside and out. I'm sure he gets mentally exhausted from having to answer the same questions, repeatedly and with enthusiasm. I simply adore Martin and Dave, and it's difficult to grasp the reality of Fletch's passing. It was unexpected and such a shock to the fans around the world and I can only imagine how painfully difficult it is for them to do this tour without Andy. Such beautiful and humble Men. Andy was asked a few years ago, what is the secret to Depeche Mode's success and he said, good song writing. I agree, but also their brotherhood and love and respect for one another. DM 4 Ever. ❤️
Absolutely. I saw them last night live and it was obvious Dave and Martin are relying on each other for support. Andy dying was very shocking and his absence was felt by the whole arena last night. I hope that when the time comes for DM to call it a day, not anytime soon of course 😂, Alan Wilder can come back for another album. He was and still is a part of this brotherhood too, even though he’s been out of the band for almost 30 years. DM forever indeed 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
Without a doubt. Martin and David's resilience emotionally and mentally is something worth mentioning. God Bless these guys for keeping the faith and moving on. Though reminded with every interview they encounter. Furthermore, still have the drive to entertain the masses. Simply pay attention to everything Martin Gore says.
So true! Last nights show was brilliant. Not an empty seat in MSG and everyone was on their feet. Beautiful show. Sister of night and stripped were the highlights for me. Excellent 👏👏👏👏👏
Underrated? . Bottomline, Underrated just means YOU JUST DISCOVERED THEM RECENTLY.. and it's just your way of overcompensating for Not being born in the right time much more your current age in discovering these guys. INTERNET BRED IDIOT. LOL
Lets all take a moment to appreciate Martin Gore. Without him, there wouldn't be Depeche Mode. A beautiful soul and even a deeper musical artist. Glad to see him and Dave continuing on after Fletch's passing...
I just saw DM play for the for the first time pin my life last night in Seattle WA and it was the best show I’ve ever seen. Martins guitar playing blew my mind.
Adorable Martin. Met him, Dave and the late Andy Fletcher a few years ago. Lovely, lovely gents. Super sweet and so nice. Such a difficult time for the remaining members and fans alike but I’m sure Andy would’ve approved of the guys continuing. Lots of ❤❤ to Dave and Martin!
Great interview. So much better for the great interviewer who is clearly a fan and asked great apt questions. Martin Gore is superb. Seen them in Dublin last night and they were phenomenal
It’s a shock to hear them speak about Andy in the past tense. During World… last night at the show I attended, it was so 💔 seeing his face flashed on the screen.
I sang " Ghosts again" as soon as it was released on Karafun. A few times now young people have come up to me and asked about the song. Now that I'm older I'm reminded that my end is closer than ever.
Amazing band and human beings❤performance in Los Angeles last night was truly stunning. I grew up with their songs and brought back fantastic memories. Their new album is a masterpiece. I’m very sad regarding Mr. Fletcher’s passing but on a positive note very happy that they’re together going forward strong. Love you guys forever and so grateful…….
Poor Martin. You can see in his eyes that the death of Fletch has hit him so hard. That interview was so vanilla. I could have answered those questions 🙄
youreright.....its not the same. it has evolved and grown. the sound after his decision to leave went thru growing pains and now we have great albums like spirit and memento mori. Memento Mori will go down as one of their best, right up there with Music for the Masses, Violator, Songs of Faith and Devotion and of course, Black Celebration. This album is a true resurgence of the DM sound and feel that we all love.
@@animallover6307 happens a lot to musicians these days it seems. I always quickly do an internet search, but not on Google any more, as they clearly suppress the search of names in conjunction of the word 'vaccinated' after a death immediately. But I always find the relevant information on other search engines, if I am fast enough. And in almost every case... I find that most ot them were overly excited to have the full course or/ and heavily promoted it or put pressure on others to take the 'product'. There also seems to be a weird code of silence for them to not discuss the possible implications the product might have had on peoples's health. Like it is part of their deal to agree to the official narrative. All of the so called alternative rockstars of the past are pretty much cowards in actually saying anything that opposes official political narrative these days. That actually includes in America both sides of the spectrum, the blue and the red. They are part of the system now and we need new alternative musicians who don't just follow on what and how we have to think. One of the worst offenders was/is a very successful german musician called Herbert Groenemeyer (friends with Bono btw) who screemed exactly like Hitler at his audience of many thousands about how they all must obey and take the product and have the right (left) political opinion, or they are otherwise unwanted deplorables! A very sick and angry old man who would have been elite N@zi at the time....because the n@zi mentality has little to do with politics, but with compliance and enforcement! And he is all for it!
When the host was talking about Ghosts Again guitars sounding like something else, I thought he was going to mention this. Sounds way more like Ghosts Again than Enjoy The Silence does. ruclips.net/video/vGSa-1nTXBk/видео.html
I love Martin's songs, etc...But come on - Alan left - Tim Simenon burnt himself out doing Ultra. Decent album - then Exciter, Playing the Angel, etc....the other ones - not the best stuff -
"He had come to England once when he was living in...The United States...". Since America is a continent Martin, one can not live in all of its 35 countries at once....

Andy is the king.
@tooniemama6959 Eloquently stated.
He's a millionaire he is use to answering questions they don't bother him
Saw them last night in NYC. Martin is such an underrated guitarist. The moods he creates are brilliant.

@@rubaidaallen2764 Gonna go with John the Revelator and Everything Counts.

A question of lust vocal moves me so much
Indeed. And thanks for not mentioning Saint Alan.

One of the best ever songwriter in music history. Spent so much time with him in the 80s while setting the first DM info svc in Italy...
I absolutely love Martin's voice. It's so complimentary with Dave's voice too.
one of the best song writers of the past 30 years. Their music continues to be the soundtrack for my life and beyond.
Great interview. So much better for the great interviewer who is clearly a fan and asked great apt questions. Martin Gore is superb. Seen them in Dublin last night and they were phenomenal
The sentence "After Andy died" still doesn't seem real to me.

Great interview! ✨🎶💜
Martin é incrível 👏👏👏😍
❤ Martin ✨🧸🌹🌹🌹
Martin Gore what a beautiful English accent. One of a kind musician💖🔥✨🎶
Mr. Martin L. mastermind Gore!!! 🖤 Brilliant 🫶🏼✨

Martin is a beautiful soul connected with our souls through music.Thank you Martin 🖤❤️
I’m seeing them TOMORROW in Portland. Can’t wait!!!
I'm near Portland. How was the show? I was concerned about Dave's voice after all these years.
So sad when Andy fletcher passed away r..I.p .❤ u depeshe mode❤❤

Martin es un hombre hermoso en toda la extensión de la palabra.
I've loved DM since the early 80's. Very cool. Thank you.
This man is a prodigy and living legend. A total mastermind on the level of Mozart. Not exaggerating
Such a great band..

But he took that contract. Fletch has a right to be angry
Yep, agreed.
Martin is a musical genius
Martin Gore:keyboards, Dave Gahan: vocals,Andy Fletcher:bumming around.
I love Depeche Mode!
🎶🎶🎶GOAT🎶🎶🎶
I hear “Bizarre Love Triangle” in that riff. Hooky’s bass.
I agree
Just ADORE HIM!!!!!!
You can see in Martin's tone that the loss of Andy Fletcher was a very difficult thing to endure and kudos to him and Dave for pushing on.
I love his smile …. Best his laugh❤❤❤❤
Gore/Mozart/Prokofiev etc....
Yes 👏 👏👏👏
Well maybe not.
Andy would have been so proud of their new album. It was the right thing to carry on as the Mode.
I can’t watch this video. Still so sad. 😢
The same qs over and over again! We need more qs about DM set list with many 80s songs in it!
🥰👍MARTIN LEE GORE👍🥰
His wig looks so obvious.
Well, just as I thought; Martin is intelligent and patient.
Where is Alan Wilder? DM is not the same without him.
Get over it…
Obviously this person has been in a coma for the last 30 years 😅😂😂 Alan took a break.. had a KitKat 😝

It's a shame andy died.
I love DM but they sang horribly out of tune in Vegas recently.
Sorry to hear that...they are aging like us so this worlrwide tour is taxing on them. Bye from France 🎉😊
