Set in 1985, Adam Sandler plays a nice guy with a broken heart who's stuck in one of the most romantic jobs in the world, a wedding singer. He loses all hope when he is abandoned at the altar by his fiancé. He meets a young woman named Julia (Drew Barrymore), who enlists his help to plan her wedding. He falls in love with her and must win her over before she gets married.

The Love Stinks scene is epic. I can’t listen to it anymore without picturing that scene.
My favourite movie from Adam Sandler, it’s maybe not his funniest(although I think it’s hilarious) I just love the characters and story, the soundtrack and that’s it’s set in the 80s and looks so authentic. It’s a heart warmer for sure
Out of all the Adam Sandler’s films, I would say that the Wedding Singer was probably his best film. I always enjoyed Adam and Drew’s chemistry.

I love the fact that this Adam Sandler movie was released in my birth year 1998 and it was my first introduction to Drew Barrymore 😄👏🏻💕
This was one of those movies that I remember in junior high everyone, guys and girls, liked. The guys gravitated to Adam Sandler's occasional juvenile comedy and the girls liked the romantic comedy elements with Drew Barrymore. This was the true transition for Sandler from a guy who just did raunchy 90s teen comedies like Bulletproof and Happy Gilmore to more of a softer version of himself. After this, he did one of my favourite movies of his, Reign Over Me, co-starring Don Cheadle, where he plays a guy with PTSD after losing his family on 9/11. It's his Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. He's both funny and touching. He plays a human being instead of a goofy character. But this is one of those movies in the 90s that does the 80s justice. I must admit, I had a thing for Drew Barrymore after this movie. I don't know if it was the haircut or just her behaviour. She's not a total damsel in distress, but she's vulnerable. She's a 90s girl. I'm pretty sure no girls had that hairstyle in the 80s. That was a very late 90s look. The best period for almost anything. The internet was just becoming a thing but hadn't taken over everyone's lives yet.
One of my favorite Adam Sandler movies. The holiday song he sings (when he’s sad singing) gets me everytime bcuz in the trolls holiday special(which I watch with my daughter and is amazing) they sing that song. And I just think of both when I watch either. I love you both. Love seeing y’all together a lot more and excited to see this with y’all

The use of colors in this movie is really outstanding.

Blended is another Drew/Adam movie that I really enjoy. It's not as popular, but it's one of those good feel watches for me.

Tim, I have movie recommendation for you. If you haven’t seen Curious George from 2006, i highly recommend you do a reaction video for it as it is one of the final 2D animated movies from the early 2000s and it’s beautiful
I love this classic Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore movie it’s funny and sweet and the music is so awesome and classic. I love the natural chemistry both Adam and Drew have and this is the one it all started I don’t know but there’s something magical when there on screen together. My favourite part is when Robbie is on plane with Julia and he sings to her with the help of Billy Idol and the rest of the passengers it so cute and romantic 🥰🥰❤️❤️ loved you guys reaction and can’t wait for the next one you do together 😊😁😉

Since I saw that movie when I was 10 years old, my dream is that my entrance to the church when I get married is "Don't stop believing." my boyfriend will have to accept
Honestly, I don't know how many times I've said this to brides and grooms. YOU CAN DO BOTH! If one of you is in a hurry. Get married in Vegas or by the Justice of the Peace. Then have a celebration with a bunch of people that love you. Like it matters that you're already married to each other. I mean, the reception is already just a celebration of a wedding that already happened. The wedding celebration is still great, even if you're already technically married.
A good Sandler/Barrymore collaboration. Personally I HIGHLY recommend *"Blended"* THAT’S a love story.

So the adorable thing about the end song is Drew. Barrymore said she wanted to not hear it until they shot so this is her genuine true reaction to hearing it for the first time, also also a lot 10 years ago when Adam an Drew went on Jimmy Fallon they sang a song with Jimmy playing guitar but she also got another surprise that was just as awesome!!

Love this movie. It got adapted into a Broadway musical and I worked on the stage crew (moving sets and handing props to the cast) for my college's production of it in my senior year. I even donated yamakas and my talite for the Bar Mitzvah scene.
It only occurred to me during your into that I've never seen this film either. I *have* seen the stage musical version though, which I would recommend.
