Got this game on my birthday in July and i must say, It's an amazing game(especially because i love HADES). While i loved Shredders Revenge, it was just a better version of/call back to Turtles in Time. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but i got bored of it quickly because of it. This game, on the other hand. I find myself playing every day simply because it's truly a unique experience with the Turtles. Great game.
How many bosses are there? The one thing I don’t like about rogue likes is that they usually only give you three or four bosses that just fight over and over
You can't follow up Shredders revenge with this and expect it to do well.. The reviewer obviously grew up on mobile games if he thinks this game is beautiful 😂😂😂
You don't have to be playing before mobile games to realize the art direction is strong. He's right talking about the contrasting colors for clarity, a lot of mobile games struggle with this when they go for a diffused lighting strategy. As someone who grew up playing Turtles in Time, I can see the appeal in both game's aesthetic. No need to crap on this guy's impressions at his expense.
Art is in the eye of the beholder. You don't have to like a game, but don't force others to agree with you if they see appeal in some trivial things that you don't like.

All I wanted to know if it's like the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series, those are my favorite Marvel games.
I just recently replayed Ultimate Alliance Gold Edition. So much fun and love the DLC Characters.
The isometric persoective is about the only similarity. Yes you still “beat people up” but ultimate alliance has more Diablo dna than this one.

This game runs better on my phone than my switch… Really looking forward to this on Steam Deck, instead.

Giving enemies a lot of health doesn't make this a good game. In fact it's boring due to how predictable it is. Back to Hades for me.

Apples to oranges comparison. Shredder's Revenge was a Beat Em' Up, while this is a Rouge-like.
