My advice is to get the surgery sooner than later. I tore my miniscus, and now my surgically repaired left knee is better than my right knee. While recovering from knee surgery, you could film videos at home with a variety of subjects; 1) - Mapping/route planning on whatever app you use. 2) - Meal prepping/cooking for a camping trip (everyone does the usual eggs/bacon for breakfast and then steak for dinner... maybe come up with a variety of alternatives, plus some good ideas for lunch during the day, that no one ever talks about). I'll brainstorm and share my ideas if you need suggestions. 3) - Vehicle trip preparation. How to check fluid levels, check lugnut torque and tire inflation for the road. How to clean glass with no streaks and how to adjust mirrors for the road. I could go on about ideas, but, you get the picture. Glad you got out for this trip! I enjoyed the still images you captured and added to the video. Looked like a great time away, and the rain really didn't take away from enjoying it... probably even added to the adventure. Was thinking the same things @PeterKunka . Outtakes real, compellation of best & worst spots, cutting room floor edits, trail etiquette & unpacking, cleaning for storing. Think we can come up with many more excuses to keep ya busy @PNWXplore . That is if physical therapy doesn't kill ya first.

@@tpseeker3367 Haha, yes, physical therapy will "kill" but it's so worth it to follow through and complete it. The goal is to heal and still reach 100% range of motion. I'll do the workouts, too, for motivation! Great ideas for videos... I think we'll get through this and he'll be just fine ;)

We camped in that exact same spot last weekend! Such a beautiful place. About 100 yds west from where you were looking at the creek through the brush, there's a man made bridge and a trail that leads up a hill.
