As someone who uses two different colored e-readers, would you recommend the black frame or the white one? I want to buy the white one for my Kobo Libra 2, but they say the black one is less tiring for the eyes? I would be happy if you could share your opinion on this subject with me.💐🙏
I was literally just thinking about this the other day how I should’ve gotten the black one! White is cute BUT it is tiring on the eyes. I plan to get a skin for mine soon

I followed all your steps, but the books added to Kobo are not showing up in "My Library" in Kobo on the Kobo Desktop app or in my iPhone Kobo iOS app. I think that they (the books we move over to Kobo from Calibre) are just on the Kobo eReader, not the Kobo library. Bummer! In other words, they don't sync to other devices.
Is there a way to select all and transfer/download all? Or does it have to be 1 by 1?

When I tried downloading the plugin on caliber it’s not uploading on it how can I get it on caliber?
You have to restart Calibre sometimes to get it to show up
I’ve heard that Amazon may snatch back books that you’ve already purchased if they decide not to sell them anymore. I want to keep all my books. (I don’t have a Kobo).
So then, I would just follow the majority of your steps up until the transfer to kobo part)? Or does the way you are downloading to the computer change the book to a different format for exclusively for Kobos?

YES, IT DOES I just finished converting and transferring 9 purchased Kindle e books to my sons new kobo
using a computer. You need an old pc/mac kindle download without updates.

@meeeksyo there is but you would need your use an computer for the process as the Calibre website and download will not work on an iOS device unless it’s an Mac . Nor an android phone etc

@ there’s a drm extension that you can add ! I found out through another vid . That helped me download but you do need a kindle serial number
1-07-25 Yes it can I just did it today without a Kindle it can be done with or without a Kindle device her video is correct however there has been a DRM plugin update since the release of this vid. Amazon is constantly changing their DRM so you must constantly make sure you have the updated plugin
I just ordered my Kobo libra colour. Once you've formatted in calibre (I know they have to be done individually) once all books are done can you transfer all of them at the same time or is that also individual? I have about 1000 or so books it'd be a pain on top to drag across one at a time on top of having to convert one at a time..
You can select and transfer all at the same time!

I have about 1,000 that I bought on It and about 3,000-4,000 gifted to me on a USB the USB ones will be easier as they're I think in pdf form and still on a USB as a back up. I was just a little worried about the kindle ones.. I'm keeping my kindle though but might not be reading it anymore..

@@CozygirlSteph I can’t find the exact picture I took but it was something like “this plugin does not contain top-level__init__.py file” idk much about computers or calibre but I noticed my file size was bigger even tho I downloaded the same thing you did. Not sure if that’s the issue or not
