I'm a 36yo man from Finland and I just watched the Snuff cover about 15 times over and over crying my heart out the whole time...
Frank I salute you ♥️
🫂
Finns don‘t cry.
Hey we have similar sounding names! But much love to your family, we all gotta let our emotions out sometimes.
@@SevAnsdigg-123 they been crying since conquered
you and me both brother, except the finland part lol
I think we should all link this cover to Corey on his social page, this needs to be heard by him. I know i loved it! Thank you for this awesome cover!
This video makes me cry everytime. Everything is just perfect, thank you Frank
Gives the song a whole lot more gravity doesn’t it.
Omg yes. So much
yes!
like when Cash covered "Hurt"...
@@moki9935 I just made this exact same comparison.
Damb right
Fucking right it does
It’s like if Leonard Cohen covered Slipknot and was produced by Johnny Cash
Except I don't think Johnny cash was a producer lol..
I was going to say Leonard Cohen too. Sounds just like him!
@@atlasmenswear7938 glad it wasn’t just me haha
Oh my god, YES IT DOES!!!! Nice one!!!!!
Lmao, exactly who I thought Leonard Cohen.
This is brilliant, Frank. As someone who loves the original song, this cover is equally moving. Thank you.
Something about an older man singing that makes u feel so close to music...I really can't put it into words.
This man gave his own color to the song, what a great cover
Agreed. I loved it he gave it almost like a Johnny Cash feel
This is one of the most beautiful covers I've ever heard. Corey Taylor would be proud.
Almost feels like when Johnny Cash covered “Hurt”
Exactly this! 100% my first thoughts too.
Yes it does!
Speaking of, you know he also did a cover of “Hurt” a while back, yes? If not, go find it. His version is beautiful
EXACTLY !!!!!!
same emotion here.
Exactly what i thought. Deep and full of sorrow and pain. Opens up the tears valve right up
This hit me in a way that the original never could.🖤
the way he sings, hits from deep...
Gives me the feeling of a man who let go the love of his life 50 years ago and still suffers.
His covers are always better than the original, in my opinion.
I feel like this was more than just a cover to him.
Right? It sounds like his voice cracks a few times out of emotion. At least that's what I'm trying to convince myself of lol
To me it's a theme song.
@@austin4x I just got into the song i'm fine.
@@FrankWatkinson amazing cover, bud. I've listened to it dozens of times the last couple days. Thank you
@@FrankWatkinson It plucked my heart strings a little and that’s saying something
