Hi there Linda and thank you, I’m not sure how popular indoor videos will be on a gardening channel, but it’s lovely to keep connected, plus I’d be doing the things anyway so I may as well film them too. Can’t believe we’re nearly at the end of the year .. how did that happen?!! Hope you’re doing ok 🥰

Aww Linda sorry to hear you’ve been under the weather, you only need to do a little bit here and there, no need to go mad, it all gets done, and if it doesn’t, does it really matter? And I always think the very best medicine is lots of sleep. So go easy and be kind to yourself my friend 🥰
I think I will AJ, I think I’ll research how to cure them and give that a try. I really do love olives (Richard hates them), I think they are a “love them or hate them” thing, a bit like Marmite. Do you have Marmite over there? 🤔🤣🥰
Your Fatsias are obviously loving their lives in your garden! Your Mahonia is way ahead of mine, which is budding up but not quite ready to show its yellow petticoats just yet. Our temps are due to plummet by Friday which will probably force the perennial plants into dormancy. So I guess next week I can start to cut back the perennials. Looking forward to your indoor ideas.
Hello Una and I love that you call them yellow petticoats 😊 yes those Fatsias are the stars at the moment. They didn’t mind Richard’s rough treatment at all!! It has rained constantly here since Sunday night but not that cold as yet. But gloomy though. No frost as yet still. Hope you’re all ok over there and looking forward to the festivities coming very soon ⛄️🥰
Hi J... Looks like a beautiful day now!! . Everything is still so green . It's -8 here today!! So many beautiful flowers still.... After I pruned my plum trees they really produced more!! Love the fan palm
Hello Chris and, oh my goodness -8! It’s rained non stop for past 2 days but no frost as yet. Can’t be much longer though. Hope you and your fish and your lovely wife, oh and dog, are all doing ok 🥰 can’t believe it’s nearly Christmas again 🥰
Hi Janette, everything still looks beautiful. The olive tree is gorgeous and wow you have olives! I love heucheras too. A house tour sounds lovely and Richard cooking sounds great.
Hi there Adra, I’m going to look up what I can do with the olives, that will be something interesting, and I’ll do a bit of filming inside, plus Richard’s cooking too. Will be nice to do something different for a change. Take care my friend 🥰
Hi Janette, Your garden is still looking good with all the lovely plants. I didn't have any success with my Cerinthe seeds but seeing how well yours have been, I'll give them another go next year. I really like your Hebe at the start of the video. I think I have the same variety in my garden but it's a lot smaller than yours as I only bought it this year. Haven't we been lucky with no frosts? Hopefully it will seem a shorter winter for everyone. Take care my gardening friend.
Hi Wendy, I’m not sure what to do with those crazy Cerinthes, I suspect the frost will take them? Isn’t it funny how we can spend so much effort nurturing some things unsuccessfully and turn other things come up so strongly? I hope you’re doing ok and looking forward to a bit of a rest soon, hasn’t this year flown by though? Have a really lovely week 🥰
I've never seen a fatsia in flower before ---they're really nice! I love the great structure of your garden. Everything is still doing so well, even the roses that really do get too large by the end of summer. I think the hebe is still my favorite. I even enjoyed your weeds (that's one thing that does well for me). I love your videos and always look forward to seeing you and Richard!
Aww Sue thank you, that’s so nice. The Fatsia flowers turn into little berries in the Spring too, I’ll show you when that happens. I’ll do some filming indoors this winter and Richard can do some cooking, and I will do some tidying and cleaning for once 🤣 I’ll give you a house tour too, I’ve never done that before. Hope you’re doing ok my friend 🥰
Just love your garden. Still looks like summer in your yard. (The leaves gives it away) 😂. Love the color of the Autumn Joy Sedum. Yes the David Austin roses are amazing. Love the yellow chair in the background. Also the new turquoise one. Thanks for sharing.
Hi there Renee and thank you so much! I do love my chairs I must say. Still no frost but oh my goodness so much rain right now, it just has not stopped. Hope you’re ok my friend 🥰
Good Morning Janette .... your garden is looking lovely ... clear and green. Ive now planted all my bulbs .. I will have to show you a pic of my garden ,its huge... my fatsia is beautiful and also flowering. Looking forward to your next video xxx❤
Hello Gill, I would LOVE to see photos of your garden!! I’m on Facebook so you could message them to me? Maybe that would be a nice idea for a video during the winter months, photos of our gardens from the summer? You’ve given me a very good idea!! That will cheer us all up. Glad to hear you’ve got all your bulbs in, that’s a very lovely feeling of accomplishment isn’t it? Have a wonderful week 🥰
Beautiful! I have passed up Fatsia plants at the garden centers for a few years, always wanting one but buy something else more floral…but this coming spring I’ll be purchasing one! I cant pass them by any longer. Lol Yours are so pretty!
Oh Lindy Lou I’m so pleased, you won’t be disappointed, I think they’re one of my absolute favourite plants. My campaign to get everyone to buy a Fatsia is working 😆 hope you’re ok my friend 🥰
Beautiful fall tour - everybody's gardens look better than this past hot summer. Those fatsia!! I thought for sure they were murdered by Richard. The Mahonia! The olive tree is gorgeous and abundant. It snowed here yesterday (US/western PA), and took the last of my blooms on the geranium and sunpatiens. I hope you will be doing a Christmas decorating video...:) The other ideas sound just simply delightful! Thx Janette!!
Hey there Deborah, no, Richard didn’t murder the Fatsia after all 🤣 I think they must like a bit of tough love 🤣 do love them though. Thank you! It has rained non stop since Sunday night and it’s hard to remember that hot summer now. I’ll definitely do some things indoors this winter and some cooking from Richard is a must 😊 hope you’re doing ok 🥰
Hi Janette Thank for the tour of your lovely garden! I like the way you have such a great variety of plants and how you manage to include trees. I love the olive tree! I’m looking forward to whatever you have in store for us. Take care and stay warm. We’ve already had a few days with snowfall so seeing your video cheers me up!💕🥰❤️🤩
Oh Mary that’s just so nice of you. You always leave me lovely comments 🥰 I’m going to see how to make olives, that will be interesting to find out, and I’ll do some indoor filming this winter. I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas again, where did that year go? 🥰
Hi Janette! Everything still looks so lovely! You could put your ilex topiary in that spot where you lost your other topiary? Just a thought. I know ilex (Boxwood) can take some shade. I love your fatsia, so beautiful!!! Carnival corner is so cheery! It really has been a wonderful year in the garden 💚
Hello Steph and that’s not a bad idea, although it’s not as tall as I would like but I’ll have a think about that. It’s been a good year apart from the struggles of the hot summer but I’m looking forward to a rest from gardening now. I still have a lot of clearing up to do out there first though but it’s been raining heavily since Monday morning here! No frost yet though. Hope you’re doing ok 🥰 always lovely chatting to you ❤️
The garden looks wonderful, some nice blooms in Nov. I'm up for whatever you'd like to share over winter, at 64, it goes by so fast, you'll be showing us your spring blooms before I know it. And wow, 5'9", it must be nice 😊
Hi Wende, I’m 60 so not far behind. I hated being tall when I was young, always the tallest in the class, but don’t mind now. I’ll probably give you a house tour but I have to clean first 🤣 hope you’re doing ok 🥰
Hi Janette! Isn’t it amazing that in the middle of Nov, you still have colorful flowers in your garden? Until this week, I still had lovely pink blooms on my Encore azalea; temps in the high 20’s turned them brown. That was following nearly two weeks of unusually warm temps in the mid 70’s, (about 23°C). Nothing but browns and greens in my garden now so it’s nice to see that your garden still has pops of color. I had no idea fatsia bloomed; what interesting flowers! It’s too cold in my z6b area to grow it here. Same with your beautiful hebe; I’m so jealous, but in a good way. 😊 Please do continue to make videos - they certainly do brighten my day. I love your new motto: Clutter free in ‘23. I’m a terrible clutter bug and maybe seeing you straighten up yours might motivate me to do something about mine. And seeing Richard cook would be pure entertainment!
Hello there JC and it’s a shame you can’t grow Fatsias or hebes, but I guess you have lovely plants I can’t have too. I will definitely do some filming indoors this winter and Richard can do some cooking too, that will be fun. I just think we all have too much stuff we don’t need so I really want to go through all mine and have a good clear out. I really should do a bit of cleaning too 🤣🤣 hope you’re doing ok my friend 🥰
Oh thank you so much!! I will think of some indoor videos and a house tour and some cooking from Richard. Never done any of that before so hopefully that will be a fun way to keep connected through the winter. Can’t believe it’s nearly Christmas!!! ❤️
Hi there Max, you have snow!! It’s been raining here last 2 days non stop pretty much. I must say I’ve really been enjoying seeing all the photos of your garden on FB, it’s huge, and really lovely. You have so much potential. Hope you’re doing ok my friend 🥰

Hi!! That's amazing with the holly! The birdhouse looks so cute with those leaves around it. You still have lots of plants that look great! We got the hard freeze and a flurry of snow on Sat. Not much left here in West Virginia! The frost will take care of weeds, no worry!! 😊
Hi Peggy, the birdhouse does look cute with the leaves doesn’t it? Aren’t plants amazing? They never give up trying. Oh you’ve got cold now, I don’t think it tell VE too much longer before we get frost. Hope you’re ok my friend 🥰
Good morning! The Fatsia is amazing! I think mine may be getting too much South Carolina sun. I may move them to full shade. Curing the olives would be interesting! I hope Richard does do the cooking videos. That would be fun! Take care!💖
Hello Dawn, well, one of my Fatsias is in full sun and the other in deep shade and they both seem to be loving life. I think I’ve had them about 8 years now. My little baby ones in the front are blooming too. I’m going to research how to do the olives, that should be interesting, and we will definitely get Richard cooking in the kitchen. I’ll have to think of some more ideas too. Hope you’re ok my friend 🥰
Hi there Lil 🥰 goodness me yes we have had rain all day here too. A very gloomy day with lots of fog as well. Never mind, we can appreciate the rest instead. Hope you’re doing ok my friend 🥰
Hello Janette Thank you so much for taking the time to vlog. Love the name Brown Sugar😂I bought a geum called Borisii in the summer😂 So many possibilities for plants named like that. Still so wet in the garden. Aren't we always complaining😵😕Your fatsias are grand. Well done Richard.Good health to both of you😁💞
Oh now I want a Borisii 😊🤣 what a fabulous name. Yes very wet damp and gloomy now but I like the winding down feeling this time of year (in the garden at least). Hope you’re doing ok - have a great day 🥰
Oh my goodness Garry did you? That’s just so sad, all your hard work, not to mention the money! I’m sorry to hear that, but I hope you don’t give up on it. I think we all have to change what we can plant now. 🥰
Your weather is so very mild! Hopefully you cut and brought a bouquet of roses and Fatsia blooms inside! I believe all of your followers just want to be with you in all aspects of your wonderful life! I love to declutter if I was closer … a favorite job of mine 🥴. Yes cooking with Richard sounds fun too! Don’t care what receipe he’s just entertaining lol! Don’t leave all of us for too long! All of us gardeners slow down outside we’ve got rain sleet snow and I’ve still got some cleanup yet! Looking forward to your upcoming peaks into Janet’s world ☺️
Hi Teresa, do you know, I never cut flowers and bring them inside actually. And I don’t have one single houseplant either 😊 I think I will give you all a house tour, I’ve never done that before. And definitely have some cooking too. It’s been raining here for 2 days now but still no sign of frost. Hope you’re ok, when are you coming to visit? 🤣🥰

Deaar Janette, your garden is still "blooming" strong. I guess due to your mild climate, plenty lushness to go around still! That fatsia is absolutely stunning! Hard to imagine it was pruned so hard. Are you winter sowing any flowers this time around? Thanks for the lovely tour and see you next week! AJ🤩😍
Hello AJ and thank you, yea very mild but it has rained all day today. I do love those Fatsias and the little baby ones in my front garden have bloomed too, very sweet. I don’t think I’m going to bother with the winter sowing this year, although I say that now but maybe by February I’ll feel differently, when we are desperate to do gardening again. Hope you’re ok my friend 🥰
Hi Janette ! Your garden is still looking beautiful! Its strange that we havent had our first frosts yet.I think its too warm?!!Looking forward to your decluttering /House tour videos.I sure need inspiration to do mine. Also cant wait for your christmas village story this year.I really enjoyed last times one.Take care.See you soon x❤

Your garden still looks amazing Janette. Its been a good year, gardening wise!!! Looking forward to your 'indoor' videos, especially Richard cooking, he's bound to make us laugh. I'm just prepping for Christmas now by decluttering and having a good clean through!! Take care xx
Hello Debs my friend, I’m sure Richard’s cooking will be fun, I might have to edit some language out 🤣 yes it has been a good gardening year although it did get a bit of a struggle in the summer heat. I’m ready for a rest now though … and Christmas!! 🥰🥰
My garden(s) did much better in the Autumn than in the summer, the drought stunted everything and when the rain came it was like a second summer albeit too late :O
Hi there Justin, I agree, it was such a tough summer for us all in the northern hemisphere wasn’t it? Let’s see what this year has in store for us! But … best news is … tomorrow it’s SPRING!! I’m so delighted!! Wishing you a very happy week 🥰
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener I lost a lot of plants this winter but I am secretly excited because I can get some more to replace them! Hoping this year will be a good one and can't wait for official Spring!!
I lost some very loved plants too Justin but like you say, we can always get replacements, and we wouldn’t want our gardens to look exactly the same every year I guess, so, onwards and upwards!! 😎👍🎉🥰
How much sun do those hucheras get? Thank you, love your garden style! Also, in spring, could you do a garden shopping video? Would love to see what an English garden nursery looks like!
Hi there Karen and thanks so much for watching. I’d love to do a garden shopping video, that’s a great idea. I’m not sure which heucheras you mean because I have lots dotted around my garden but I think you mean the ones be my red pots? Those ones only get morning sun, I only planted them maybe 6 weeks ago. I do have others in full sun though, I did read that the darker the leaves, the more sun they can handle, and I do think that makes sense. Thanks so much for your lovely comment 🥰
Hello Janette! How are you? I’m so very glad you will continue with your videos. I really enjoy your enthusiasm and like you, I have small garden spaces 🥰. I had to quickly put most things to bed yesterday as winter is upon us. Unfortunately I have a few plants that I did not get planted and I’m hoping they survive the cold. It is 18 degrees Fahrenheit this morning here 🥶and there is snow in the forecast 😢. I am going to have to plant my bulbs in pots because that didn’t happen earlier. 😂
Hello Lauren, goodness me it has turned cold quickly for you, I’m sure bulbs would look just as lovely in pots though, I’ll think of some things to film over the winter, I’m not sure how popular they’ll be, on a gardening channel, but I’ll be doing them anyway so might as well film it too. Thanks for always watching my friend 🥰
Hello Jasmine, oh it is pouring down here today too. So dismal and dreary. Hard to remember how we yearned for rain just a few month ago!! Wishing you a wonderful day 🥰
I love caladiums, but they are difficult for me to grow! I save the bulbs every year because they are expensive! Some like sun, the newer ones from proven winners!
Hi there, are they difficult? I’ve never grown them, thanks for telling me some like sun, I didn’t realise. Well, I will give them a try next year and make sure I read up on them and get the shade lovers. They are very lovely so I have high hopes 😊 wishing you a lovely week (hasn’t stopped raining for days and days here) 🥰
First time enjoying your garden! Beautiful, very well thought garden design. Will try to find summer time video in your channel. What kind of cloud topiary are they, Love to know !
Hi there Morium and thank you so much! It’s lovely to have a new gardening friend. I have 2 cloud pruned topiaries, the ones with lots of little balls, one is a chamaecyparis and the other smaller one is an ilex Crenata. I love those. I do have summer tour videos if you want to see, there is a playlist called Garden Tours which is probably easiest to search through. We struggled through this summer with all the heat and I didn’t have half the colour and annuals as I did in summer of ‘21 but I think everyone had the same to deal with this year. Lovely to chat to you and wishing you a fabulous week 🥰
Just look at that garden 😍 beautiful. Since I'm planting roses this autumn I've been learning all about them and it looks like your Olivia Austin rose is trying to be a climber 🤔 shrub roses can do that apparently and if that branch which is growing doesn't have a bud on the end of it then it could be the case. If you don't want it to climb you have to snip it off. Also (sorry about this but once I get going....) it seems that most roses are grafted onto a strong root which can send up it's own growth 😱. It has to be cut off at the stem otherwise it will take over. So happy you're continuing inside that will be fun. We're all the same I think when it comes to choosing between house work or garden so winter is a good catch up time. Take care and have a great day. 🙋♀️
Ooh Kim do you know, I think you may well be right about it wanting to be a climber! I’m going to have to do a bit of research, I want to move it somewhere it still be happy. Thank you!! Expert advice! Hope you’re ok and I’m looking forward to a rest so will have a think about what I can do instead 🥰❤️
Hi Janette, even in November your garden is still lovely. The fatsia flowers are amazing. Do you lose many plants to frost? Sometimes in Winter we get a bit of frost on the grass but not on the plants. I've lost many to the Summer heat. My hydrangeas are so beautiful now and I try to nurse them through the heat. It's usually a losing battle but they come back again the next year. I'll be looking forward to watching Richard's culinary adventures and also a tour of your home but like I said before my friend I'd be more than happy to sit down you with your cuppa and I with mine and just hear about your week. Love Bron xx
Oh Bron that’s so lovely of you. I don’t usually lose plants to frost, only the perennials that need to be cut back anyway. I am having no luck whatsoever with hydrangeas though, I’ve got to replant those ones in pots, back into the garden. Have trouble finding the right spots for them, but I’ll probably put them in the east facing border for morning sun I think. Are yours in full sun? I do love those Fatsias too. I’ll give you a house tour but got to do some cleaning first 🤣 take care. I’ve woken up to more rain again this morning, it hasn’t stopped since Monday 🤣 have a wonderful week 🥰
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener I haven't had any luck with hydrangeas in pots either. Mine are in the garden and are covered in flowers. When I planted them about twelve years ago there was a big old palm tree that gave them some shade but it came down after a lot of rain so now they live with full sun. They flower beautifully but need constant nursing to get them through the heat. Lots of watering and sometimes I've covered them with sheets but usually the sun ends up getting to them and the leaves curl up and the flowers wither but for now in the Spring they're lovely. Wish I could show them to you. Hope you both have a great week.
Hi Janette. I love watching your garden videos. Your garden looks gorgeous even at this time of year with all the leaves everywhere. My garden is the same with falling sycamore leaves. Your lawn is always perfect. Is it real grass ?
Hi Janette. I had a suspicion it was artificial turf but then so is mine. Back and front gardens. Easier than fighting with real lawns. 😁 I am in Barnsley in South Yorkshire. Keep up the good work. You’re a real inspiration. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Oh Nigel getting that lawn was a game changer, we just love it. Best thing ever aren’t they? 😊 never been to Barnsley but I’ve been to York which is just beautiful!!
Hi Jeannette Isn't it mild for mid Nov !? Your garden looks great still and your Fatsia is fabulous my hope is that mine grow up to be just like yours haha they are still only quite small but I am definitely going to limb them up as they grow, I'm just uploading a vid it's taking ages my connection is so slow but I have roses blooming in the garden in November it's an extraordinary year this, pelargoniums, fuchsias and dahlias still in flower it's crazy, looking forward to the cooking lessons from Richard ! haha take care lots of love x
Yes it’s so mild I agree. My Fatsias are maybe 8 years old perhaps so they do take a while, but my little mini ones in the front garden have flowered too and are so cute. I didn’t know you had a channel too so I will definitely have a look when I get home tonight. Have a lovely week 🥰
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener I remember that's how I found you :) I bought 2 spiders web in the sick bay at the garden centre something like 50p each! anyway as always buy first ask Q's later haha I didn't have a clue what they needed but you showed me ! Oh I thought when you said you were uploading .. it’s such a great idea to keep a track of the garden with videos, we think we’ll remember but we don’t. So glad you have Fatsias too, they’re just brilliant!
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener Yes I do upload them here but they are just from my phone I don't have a gardening channel beautifully presented like you I think what you do is marvellous & I love watching your videos but it's a big commitment and must take up a lot of time, it's not something I could do I just record the changes I've made & it does help you remember and appreciate what you've done in the year and I think it's useful to see what worked and what didnt & as I get older remembering what I planted where when it's out of season is helpful ! haha I just use my youtube account I've had since 2008 to store them together somewhere x
That’s such a great idea to put them on YT without publishing them! It is a big commitment and does take quite a bit of time but it’s lots of fun doing the editing and I’ve learned new skills by doing that. Plus what I enjoy a lot is chatting to you all, that really is half the fun of it. Anyway, it’s absolutely pouring down here today so for once I don’t mind sitting in an office all day 🥰 lovely to chat with you xx
Hello there 🤣 oh he’s out getting as much golf in as possible before the winter stops play 🤣 but we’ll get him on some videos again soon. He’s still doing all the cooking, he’s very good at it, way better than I am, but you can mostly find him watching Netflix, he’s a huge film buff, all he watches is films. He’s very lovely 🥰 hope you’re doing ok. I don’t really mind the garden season ending but I’m sure I’ll be desperate to do some more by about February. I do have some things I still want to move around soon though 🥰
Hello there!! Whenever I plant something new I always add slow release fertiliser into the hole, no favourite brand, whatever I have 😊 and then in the Spring just scatter a load of fertiliser all over the borders, but again I don’t have a particular brand, I just get a big bag of al purpose fertiliser. I’m making my own leaf mould compost this year so I hope that goes well and I can scatter that all over late summer too. Thanks so much for watching 🥰
Good for you!!! Garden is number one!!!!
Definitely number 1. The house looks clean with the lamps on in the evenings 🤣🥰

@@TheEnthusiasticGardener doing wonderfully. It's cold, cold, cold here. Great for my tulips and other bulbs.
I see you’re all getting cold over there with some snow as well. Winter is on its way 😊⭐️🌎 ⛄️
Good Morning Janette .... your garden is looking lovely ... clear and green.
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener
I'm well thanks. I'm just 5'4, my daughter is 5'8, I've always wanted to be taller 😊
Everything looks good
Good morning Nino and Lo 🥰 hope you had a really lovely weekend and thank you for watching 🥰
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener I've been watching you for a while now (Lo) and I just love your garden and the way you use your space
Oh Lo that is just so lovely of you!! You have brightened up my Monday morning so thank you 🥰
As usual enjoyed your video and always look forward to them. See you in the next one really great ideas for the end of the season videos ❤
Oh thank you so much!! I will think of some indoor videos and a house tour and some cooking from Richard. Never done any of that before so hopefully that will be a fun way to keep connected through the winter. Can’t believe it’s nearly Christmas!!! ❤️
Hi Janette your garden is still looking lovely. Thank you for posting your videos they always inspire me. Have a lovely day 🥰
Hello Lou, and thank you for always watching them 😊 wishing you a lovely week 😊

Hello my friend . You still have nice flowers on display, here in our area is all gone now . We had snow the day before and now is raining and cold 🥶.
Hi there Max, you have snow!! It’s been raining here last 2 days non stop pretty much. I must say I’ve really been enjoying seeing all the photos of your garden on FB, it’s huge, and really lovely. You have so much potential. Hope you’re doing ok my friend 🥰
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener is cold here already I don’t like it , I miss my flowers 😊. And about my gardening is all y’all’s fault lol , I watch gardening videos almost everyday, specially the English ones , I hope I can make my land to look like that . Keep up the gardening so i can learn more and more 😊
I’m the same as you Max, I watch gardening videos every day too 😊
Hi Janette, nice tour 😊. So glad I did some gardening yesterday because I was greeted with heavy rain this morning. Have a lovely week 🥰
Hi there Lil 🥰 goodness me yes we have had rain all day here too. A very gloomy day with lots of fog as well. Never mind, we can appreciate the rest instead. Hope you’re doing ok my friend 🥰
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener I’m fine thank you, hope you are too. Oh I don’t like fog. Take care 🌸🪴
You too 🥰
Your garden looks fabulous. You've a nice job filling in all the spaces with beautiful plants.
Oh thank you so much Karyn. There’s a few things I want to move around still. Been raining solidly for 2 days. Hope you’re doing ok 🥰
Hello Janette
Thank you so much for taking the time to vlog.
Hope you’re doing ok - have a great day 🥰
I lost 90 percent of my garden, my part of Essex it was really bad weather with the snow and frost , had too really change my garden.

🤣🤣 oh Indy I’m glad you like the Christmas village 🤣🤣 I really like them but they take up all the room, I only have a little house 🤣 I’ll make sure to show you 🥰
Your garden still looks amazing Janette.

Morning Janette 💕
I have woken up to pouring rain and it’s beautiful 🥰 your garden is looking beautiful with all the autumnal colours 💕
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener you're welcome 😊 take a look at Olga Carmody's videos she knows everything about roses 😌
Ooh thank you, I don’t know her so I’ll definitely have a look 🥰
Oh and I wish I could see them Bron, they sound magnificent 🥰
Hi Janette. I love watching your garden videos. Your garden looks gorgeous even at this time of year with all the leaves everywhere. My garden is the same with falling sycamore leaves.
Your lawn is always perfect. Is it real grass ?
Hello Nigel how lovely to chat to you!! Whereabouts are you? You have uncovered my secret … my lawn is … artificial 🤣🥰
Hi Janette. I had a suspicion it was artificial turf but then so is mine. Back and front gardens. Easier than fighting with real lawns. 😁
I am in Barnsley in South Yorkshire.

Hi there Rose Mary, and wishing you a happy weekend 🥰
Lovely 😊 what fertilizer do you use?
USA south
Hello there!! Whenever I plant something new I always add slow release fertiliser into the hole, no favourite brand, whatever I have 😊 and then in the Spring just scatter a load of fertiliser all over the borders, but again I don’t have a particular brand, I just get a big bag of al purpose fertiliser. I’m making my own leaf mould compost this year so I hope that goes well and I can scatter that all over late summer too. Thanks so much for watching 🥰
